AJ and her family has turned down in the past every big named recording conglomerate including Disney , until just recently they allowed her to sing with Republic Recording with the stipulation that she has complete control of her artistic parameters and no one can dictate what or how she performs or what she creates. A.J . is Republic Records number one priority artist. Yeah when the album gets released it may be. Happens fairly often when singles are released well before an album and then the album takes off. It showed very well as a single for an artist unknown by the masses. It is just the ones who found her on youtube and those in music that really know of her. I think it is a perfect ballad. Sung amazingly, the writing is so cool for a teen. I have no doubts that within two albums all her stuff that is already out there blows up even further. New fans will have the same field day we have, seeing so much put out there from a young age that is so raw and personal. No matter how good and versatile she is there still needs to be a song that gets a hold of the masses, which for her seems more likely than your average musician, given the versatility, but wouldn't be a given. The only given is that she will have at the very least a solid sized very loyal fan base and be ok that way. She could also end up with a couple hundred million people in love with her, going back to fall in love with her as a kid, to the point they all want what's best for her and can't stop listening to her. Wouldn't put it past her and then this song would absolutely be on the radio a lot, just a couple years late.

Yeah when the album gets released it may be. Happens fairly often when singles are released well before an album and then the album takes off. It showed very well as a single for an artist unknown by the masses. It is just the ones who found her on youtube and those in music that really know of her. I think it is a perfect ballad. Sung amazingly, the writing is so cool for a teen. I have no doubts that within two albums all her stuff that is already out there blows up even further. New fans will have the same field day we have, seeing so much put out there from a young age that is so raw and personal. No matter how good and versatile she is there still needs to be a song that gets a hold of the masses, which for her seems more likely than your average musician, given the versatility, but wouldn't be a given. The only given is that she will have at the very least a solid sized very loyal fan base and be ok that way. She could also end up with a couple hundred million people in love with her, going back to fall in love with her as a kid, to the point they all want what's best for her and can't stop listening to her. Wouldn't put it past her and then this song would absolutely be on the radio a lot, just a couple years late.
She has several of her own writing at this time. Even though she signed with Republic Records has the contract Angelina's original team still has operational control day to day. She will be on a limited schedule until she is 18 or finishes school whichever comes last. At least that's how I understand it to be. Angelina is going to be a monster. She will always have her family around her, or available to her when it comes to direction. But a girl who can keep a promise she made at 6 yrs.old to be a reminder of that girl and her desire to not be forgotten is a young lady who has her priorities in order.

There is a story about the "no shoes" when performing. I am sure others have already told you about that...but yeah, that is part of who she is.
She wrote this song for her grandfather. When she was young she saw someone without shoes and gave them her shoes. She has been preforming barefoot ever since....if I heard correctly.

This was her first original release with her then newly signed label Republic Records at 14 years old. This music video came out after she had turned 15. Just as amazing is Angelina also sketched out how she wanted the video for this performance. When she signed with RR it was as a "high priority artist" and they gave her artistic control over what she releases, which is unheard of anymore but obviously RR has full confidence that she knows what she is doing. Angelina did write and release 3 songs at 11/12 years old and did release her 2nd original single with RR not long after this one titled "7TH HEAVEN" an old school jazz vibe. She has also recorded 2 songs that were written exclusively for her. "SONG FOR A" at 12 and "ABOVE THE WATER" at 14 before RR. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. 'Between Two Hearts'
