So amazing how tik tok has become the new platform for showcasing and discovering of new talent. Really glad that Liza brought in this group with the raspy baritone. He's got real potential. And, if you like that kind of voice, may I suggest the young Indonesian singer, Felix Irwan. His baritone rendition of Cold Play's "Fix You" is especially moving. Somewhere he seems to have picked up a country-western kind of twang which only adds to the allure.
Annenmaykantereit is definitely not new, they are pretty big in Germany but I agree it’s nice that they get international recognition!

I think this song is a recount of the day she learnt how to move on:
First she’s pretending she didn’t see the man and the woman that walked in kiss as that must be bringing back memories of the man she was in love with. Additionally the part where she mentions the actor that died is a way she is storing and perceiving the date, some day, some time back in the 80s there was a newspaper in New York that wrote about an actor that passed away from drinking. 6:36 I'm guessing there would've had to have been at least two or three camera people to pass the camera out and then back in through the window. So that had to be planned and also that they didn't get in any of the shots. The initial walking into the room would of had to have been rehearsed to time the point they would need be at the microphones.
They always do that . Mostly the band walks arounds or stands somewhere and just start to Film and play and sing .. Thats all they do for the Videos. Its never that much planned .

Then the military brassband played it for Angela Merkel‘s leaving the office. That’s when I discovered Annenmaykantereit. Because they did an amazing cover some years prior to that.

Quite a few German bands gained fame in the new world, such as Kraftwerk, Scorpions, Rammstein and the infamous Boney M. and Milli Vanilli (both were produced by Frank Farian and became infamous for lip-syncing). AnnenMayKantereit would deserve to follow them.

Liza, I have a question I’m getting into singing and I think I am pretty committed to the raspy yell singing like in the video I have a deep voice for my age and it’s only gonna get deeper from here, can you point me in the direction of what type of voice you need to have that singing voice and some things I can do to condition my voice.
