- Without a shadow of a doubt, Dirty Dike encapsulated the vibe of Boombap festival. Every year he knocked it out the park with his sets. Nobody owned that staged or commanded the audience like him. The raw energy in this performance illustrates this point perfectly.
I first discovered Dirty dike when he strolled into our campsite at nass festival in 2011 asking if anyone wanted to trade some coke for some tinnies. Safe to say I've been a fan ever since 😂

Literally our scene is so underground and we're proud of it. It's like you found a rare gem.
Get into the history of how our scene developed and you'll kinda get an idea.
In some / many cases it can be a sign of disrespect to ''blow up'' an artist without good reason there's a big sense of ''having deserved'' your place in the scene.
Even people at the top can be dismissive towards statements such as ''you're the best'' etc. Common response would be ''there are people who deserve it more'' always
Guess you could call it a sense of humility or being humble or something like that

I talked to him on Facebook and told him you all want to know what it's called. All he said was it hadn't been released yet; so I take it he hasn't given it a title yet. I'm sure he told me last year; must have dreamt it. What he did tell me was that it will be on his next album; which is due for release in March.
