Can you demonstrate the stock HU functions still working with this, or any other, Android HU that is fitted to a Mazda which already had a HU with integrated touchscreen?

Hey would this work on a 2017 Mazda 3 base model with the same stock headunit as in your video?? My doesn’t have steering controls or the control knob in the middle but it has the space for it just like in your video

Are you sure that the vehicle settings are retained in these car stereos? Mazda's infotainment also controls the settings on the instrument cluster of the dashborad as it is an LED panel on some models, the HUD display setting, lane keep assist, and other specific mazda settings.

Hi ray it sure can just needs a few more plugs to be installed!
If you already have the factory screen, just get the OEM Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto module. It would work better then aftermarket.
If only Mazda new how much we want this!

Can this unit be fitted to my 2016 top of the line Akari, it came with a screen that has all the vehicle functions, etc.
I would love to have a decent head unit over the factory mazda one.
My car also has factory Camera and would that too be intergrated in this install.
Like there has been others asking, when, where, and how much, located in Sydney.

Nathan did you need to do anything xtra for oem rear camera or just plug the fly lead straight into factory loom?

@@Fifthcell the seller says that you have to buy another version, because you will keep your oem controls in the center console that the one like shown on this video has not and that’s why he installed the center console controll, but you’ll keep the Mazda OEM UI and you can switch between the android system and the oem system but in a bigger screen!!

Looks good. Who makes these and where can I buy one? I have a Japan import Demio / 2, and the factory head unit looks identical to this, so I guess it should work.
This is designed for Mazda. You’ll need a universal kit :)
@@TheFittingBay Yeah, it's a Mazda 2 (or Mazda Demio in Japan). A shame if it won't fit then. The vehicle interior and the factory radio really look identical to the CX-3 in your video.

Goodnight. Will this work on a 2015 Mazda cx-3. Does this come with a built in fm tuner? Recently got this vehicle and it came from Japan. Also, are you able to advise how to remove the "region lock" when trying to play DVD's. Your assistance would be much appreciated, and also the cost for this head unit
Region lock not sure but changing to this screen will fix that and yes it has FM
