When you go to Pigeon Forge you HAVE eat a Mels Diner. You will enjoy the atmosphere it's GREAT.
We have the Mel’s diner here in Phoenix that was used in the intro for the show Alice.

FLO used to always say, " well kiss my grits, Mel!". Vera was that dizzy waitress and Alice was the best. Mel was a trip!! Lol

I always stop at Mel’s for breakfast and a t-shirt. Hard to believe that the old Grand Hotel Resort property is still vacant. I used to stay there for the spring rod run.

Me and my husband ate there. .I had the club also and it was delicious. ..made friends with 2 of the waitresses and even exchanged phone numbers before we left. .planning another trip back there this coming August. .

I'm there, for my Pigeon forge vacation.. The food looks great, at Mel's and the interior, including exterior has a very historical vibe to it, a great example of a 1950's style diner, just my type of place..
Mel's Diner (Alice) was my mom's show back in the day!! This looks great if only Vic Tayback was here to see this!!

I've eaten at that Mel's Diner. While the food wasn't fantastic, my server was. He was super polite, talkative, and just plain funny.
there are times we ate a places and it was out of this world and then we go back and its horrific Thanks Marvin😁

I enjoyed dining at Mel’s twice when I was up there. Prices were way better than the Sunliner. Yes, it can get busy and loud! It seemed like the busier they got, they would turn the music up louder.

Loved Mel's diner. Also The Chop House. Its expensive but well worth the money. Best steak i have ever had in my life. The Apple Barn's breakfast is amazing also. My favorite pancake house is the one in Pigeon Forge with the red metal roof. Can't think of the name.

We ate at Mel's I had the steak and cheese sandwich and fries it was good but the fries was hard .

love Mel's, we always stay in a cabin in Wears Valley right down the road. We have had breakfast & lunch before at Mel's and it's great food and reasonably priced compared to alot of other places. Great drone footage .. what drone do you have? i've always wanted one

Wow, my wife and I have never been to Mel's and not have to wait outside for a table and there were empty seats in there. What time of day was that?

You board the bus at the bus stops. Along the strip and its a 1.00 per ride thanks Kimberly

We love Panama hoping to get back this year
I have to wonder if Mel’s is part of a chain restaurant? There’s a Mel’s in Fort Myers Florida with a similar diner and decor. It’s on US Route 41. And a very similar menu from the looks of it. Definitely looks like a great place to have lunch for sure.
