In the middle of this video I realised why I loved it so much and why it is bringing me such comfort. It’s like doing homework with a friend at school - you each are doing own thing (I am also planning when watching your resets), but time after time on of you will break silence to tell some story or just drop a couple of comments. It’s very comforting. I even didn’t want to stop for comments mid-video not to spoil the moment.
About reading… I am reading before bed every evening. I know, it’s not for everyone, but for me personally it’s solving several issues - it’s screen-free time, so helps me to unwind better. It is reducing anxiety before bedtime, because I am more invested in what is going on in the book rather than is some everyday things that i need to do/forgot to do. If book is too boring, it doesn’t matter - I will fall asleep faster 😅. And the book is never lost, because it’s always near my bed.
I got myself one of those pilot pens that you can erase and if there are quotes, thoughts or anything that I want to remember next day or after I’ve finished the book, I am leaving them directly in the book. I can always erase after. Sticky notes are useful as well, if you are reading non-fiction. But to be honest, in some books I am stopping just to jot down “WTF??” on margins 😅
I think planners are tested the most in times when we are not Ok (tired, overwhelmed, busy, ill, etc). It’s easy to plan when you feel amazing, but when you are not Ok, that’s when planners are actually helping to just stay on track and do things.
Saying that, I have noticed that if I skip my weekly reset for some reason, then I feel all over the place whole week, like I am constantly forgetting something.
When you said that you like pages that you completed while back-dating media journal… Why don’t you just carefully cut them out and glue in backdated journal when you all caught-up? This will save you time with more writing and you will keep the actual ‘writing in the moment’ log? I do that sometimes. But that’s only if you will not be bothered by different layouts and added bulk.
I loved looking through your stickers. ❤
And just to make sure, that there are no more intrigue and cliff-hangers - Did you finish “Bird by Bird”? 😂

karina !!!! you got me all emotional 😭 what a compliment, i'm so glad that it brought you some comfort! i was afraid the lack of commentary would be boring to some but the fact that it's brought a coziness is so heartwarming for me.
jotting down "wtf" in the margins of books is my favorite pastime so can relate 😂
totally agree about planners being tested in moments of stress. and I am also the same way, if I don't do my weekly reset I feel so scattered during the week! so I need to at least try to get my bearings at the start of the week to make sure I have a bit of organization in my life or it'll be a bad week
I had thought about that as well! but since the b6 and the TN sizes are so different, I don't really like how it would look. i don't mind the bulkiness but the size difference of one being wider does bother me a bit.
HAHAHAHA I DID FINISH BIRD BY BIRD!! finished it on the 31st I was so proud of myself !!!

I just subscribed even after the first two minutes because I absolutely adored your intentional approach to calling out when you’re feeling down and recognizing that it’s important to appreciate when going through a tough time myself sending over hugs and excited for your content!

your comment actually made me tear up. i'm so glad that it resonated. i debated a lot on whether or not to post this video after editing it because i didn't think anyone would enjoy me being such a downer. but it felt important to post to make sure things stay authentic. no one can be upbeat, and 100% all the time. so seeing positive feedback, especially like your comment, fills me with joy
