Plant's voice sounds more soulful in this. I can now somewhat relate to his complaints about the vocals in the early recordings. To me it always sounded great, but this reflects an even better version. Anyone know if the overall mix of the album recordings may have drowned out some of the dynamics you hear in this recording of Plant ?
is the 2nd solo part too long? i keep playing with the official version with the guitar and then to this version, but finish too early on this one? anyone else having this problem or just me?
@@manu9629 yea i figured that, i dont remember the "heartbreaker, heartbreaker, oohh" lyric somewhere on the 2nd solo. but it is odd cause it says that lyric is in the song when i look up lyrics for it. strange
manu9629 I think I just had the timing off from when I played to it (the first note threw me off I guess) Edit: does the guitar part start on the 4 beat of the count in or 1st beat of (idk) silence? Because I think I do have the count right but I believe the count in doesn’t match when backing track actually start (it’s like 1/4 of a beat off and I used a metronome at 97 bpm to check)
@@brunof.feldberg Just go by feel. I start on the fourth beat with the bend from the E string, bending from G to A (this varies from versions but usually in live starts that way), and that gets me positioned pretty well.
manu9629 hey man. I realized, about a month ago, that my playing wasn’t off at all. It turns out in the final album mix itself the guitar is slightly out of rhythm with the drums! So I was really playing the song EXACTLY the way the Jimmy recorded it back in 69’!
look at their faces when you play solo
😂
Zep and The Who are one of few bands I can listen to with only backing tracks, must be the power of the bass/rythm section
thicc bass tone
The bass is in an organ Leslie.
JPJ tears it up on the track. God. Damn.
1min of silence who cannot play the solo😔(including me😭)
It’s not that hard tbh
@@sothbeachboy2195 it's easy to throw random licks but it's hard to get it good
I just try to remember the song and recreated it using my own licks?...
Love playing guitar to zeppelin backing tracks
2:51 end of solo
thank you!
very helpful.
awesome

I thinks it's because everything sounds more saturated, and since the guitar isn't there, there's more space for the other instruments

Yeah, is a bit longer, it's some kind of alternative version

Спасибо!
О, думал что я тут один русский

Is it just me or is the count in a little off with the beginning part of the track?
I don't think so 🤔. Did you played it with the guitar next to the backing track?

manu9629 ya I’m pretty sure I’m just a little off. Thanks for responding though! (and for the original backing track)!
