Even government wants to make education a business that’s why they are closing govt schools and providing fee wavier to students to study in private schools, why don’t government try to improve government schools then.

Finally the startup bubble is bursting. You cannot make a company only with high investments.

One such edtech scam public should also be made aware of is an organisation called Skill Nation ( co founded by Jatan Shah, Nikhil Parmar and Hardik Raja ). Online workshops conducted by this organisation is basically 1 hour of coaching and 2 hours of watching promotions .
Each participant is trapped by paying 299 rupees and gst for a 3 hour workshop to learn excel, chatgpt etc but a participant ends up watching nearly 2 hours of advertisement.

Jatan shah is a scamster. He was my brother's classmate. Everyone knew how shady he was because of his misconduct and cocky attitude. He is also accused of fraud of cheating and dumping customers after their enrollments in his courses

The title for this report should have been The 'HYPE' and FALL of Byjus. It was always the media HYPE and the company not making any real profit. Just inflated valuations. To top it, you had the arrogance of Byju Ravindran who thought he knew it all. This is nothing but the curse of parents who were trapped into loan debt and employees who were laid off due to mass hiring. KARMA spares no one.

I don't know why people are laughing on the fall of Byju's, whereas he opened new dimension to learn and way for other edtechs.
In india still non govt teacher earning below national wage level, he opened the door for teachers for digital platform so they can earn better.
I was hoping he have potential to introduce metaverse in teaching but I think there is no place for creative people in India.
    Hope Byju's will rise again.

@@t.n.johnferdinand5405 The reason for the fall is the fraud practises they did to lure students, pressuring parents into buying their courses...Had they been genuine, honest and not overambitious hiring ppl like messi, they would have been a success.
