    A separate video on the the Gumlet cdn would be helpful.

      Gumlet is too expensive for my budget. annually 99 a month or 120 month to month.

    What about if using a Lightspeed host and Quic CDN - also Bunny vs Quick https 3

    You need a "battle of the CDNs" video.
    I am going to side with Gumlet for now.

    Make a video about G-core labs, please. I heard that this is a good CDN

    Thanks for the video, good point. Review some other services. Only not on the most popular ones like Cloudflare, Google CDN, etc.

    Tried this and it seemed good but seemed to interfere with my litespeed. Updated images in the builder would not show to the public despite all my cache clearing. Seemed okay with WP optimize but didn't' get a chance to test.

      Alright, I plan to do it. I'm holding off to learn more about their pricing structure which they seem to be figuring out but I guess we'll just address that in the video. Look for it early next week.

    Hey Dave, why don't you use Cloudways' CDN?

    • @dave-swift
      @dave-swift  3 года назад +1

      Cloudways uses Stackpath which is a great CDN.
      It will not do image optimization or resizing though, so you’re still left needing a solution for that.
      I don’t use Cloudways for our client sites anymore. We have an account an agency account with GridPane. I still recommend Cloudways as the best solution for people with under 10 sites that aren’t comfortable doing a lot of command line work but don’t need a fully managed solution.

      @@dave-swift How about an integrated resizing solution like reSmush.it (for WP I mean), would it take care of it or is that irrelevant?

    • @dave-swift
      @dave-swift  3 года назад +1

      I like Shortpixel for that, but it won’t resize images it will just compress them.

    How does this compare with shortpixel adaptive images cdn

    • @dave-swift
      @dave-swift  3 года назад

      Many people in the Facebook group report Shortpixel’s CDN as being slower than their website serving the files directly.

  • @hitmusicworldwide

    Why not use Cloudfront? You know that bunny has to be using AWS infrastructure or Cloudflare infrastructure etc, to have a global presence. Unless they are that big and have their own data centers globally. NOT

    • @dave-swift
      @dave-swift  Год назад

      Owning your own data center isn't necessary to own servers in a datacenter.
      Cloudfront is certainly a good choice for some, but many users (at every skill level) find AWS unnecessarily complex and time consuming.

    Gumlet is tooooo expensive!!!! and Bunny is cheap!!!

    • @Mikhai_nik

      They are both expensive compared to G-core.

    • @AndrewGalli
      @AndrewGalli Год назад

      That was my reaction. This guy doesn't address the operation expense which is very high unless you are CNN or Netflix maybe. I still don't see the advantage to leaving AWS S3 or Cloudfront or the much less expensive Bunny.

  • @vismithams

    No..not up to the mark when comparing with bunnynet

    • @dave-swift
      @dave-swift  2 года назад

      Why do you say that?

    • @vismithams
      @vismithams 2 года назад

      @@dave-swift No change in speed. Even it's giving lesser score in pageinsight. I have tried both image delivery using their plugin and js CSS loading using wp rocket.
