As someone born in Iraq I really appreciated that you left in the part with the taxi driver speaking Arabic in the beginning. He was asking you if you were from Lebanon or Syria because you were using Levantine Arabic.
No pro he asked where he is from then he gives him example like Syrian and lebanon because he doesn’t know the English well but iam surprised how can humans understand eash othor while speaking different languages

This is very tiring. You should go up in the taxi because the taxi is connected. In Iraq, like a bus, you get one seat and pay an amount for one seat at the same price you paid on the bus, although the taxi is faster on the way if you are sitting in the front seat. I am a nz iraqi from basra originally, I grew up there. I know very well the street that ride it. It is the same garage ( bus station) that we use to traval to other cities in Iraq. You can use Google to help you in translate. Love your video and take this adventure. Hopefully nz open the borders and we can travel to iraq. Each city in Iraq has different culture and something unique.
