- This is a play-through using Super Vegetto in the PS1 game Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout. Read on below for more information...
Super Vegetto is the penultimate boss in this game. He is an unlockable playable character.
===== About Super Vegetto =====
He's meant to be Goku and Vegeta combined... which I imagine makes this character extremely powerful in the story-line. Is this the same character as Gojita / Gogeta?
Gameplay-wise, I think he is one of the best characters in the game... he's quite fast and deals out quite high energy depletion. His non-demo Beam and non-demo Kamehameha moves both come out FAST and does high depletion.
===== About Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout =====
This is TOSE's (the developer) second Dragon Ball fighting game on the PS1... it's almost a "sequel" to their first game, Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22. The main differences to this and the "prequel" is that the characters in-fight consist of 3D models, and the roster of characters is far smaller.
The gameplay is very similar to DBZ:UB22, where you have the usual moves, Chi moves and special moves. New features include the Meteo combos and "counter-Kamehameha" moves where the "victim" can decide to avoid, block or counter the moves before they hit.
Unfortunately... the general gameplay is poor (in my opinion). No matter which character you control, it's very clunky and unresponsive... it's one of those games where when you press a button or a direction, it takes a split second before your input registers with the character. This makes flying difficult in this game, because the unresponsiveness means you can never be pinpoint with flight movements, which is important because you need to get into the right positions QUICKLY to be able to hit flying opponents. The same can be said when turning around... if your character ends up facing the wrong way, the unresponsiveness makes it difficult to turn around (it's NOT auto-turn, you have to do it yourself), and it takes a lifetime for your character to fully turn around.
Other issues I had was the fact that Meteo combos seemed to be hard to get working... and of course, the CPU virtually always gets it working, leaving you to face a Meteo combo like 3-4 times before you can finally get back into the fight again (each combo session can probably can be countered but I couldn't be bothered checking). Blocking (using a block button) also seems to be unresponsive sometimes.
On the upside though, special moves are much easier to get working this time round. There is also a 'Build-up' mode where you can power up a selected character, which I won't comment on as I have not experienced it. The soundtrack is generic "adventure-style" music, and some of the tracks are remixed tunes from DBZ:UB22, and the game has interaction/voice-acting on the versus screens between the characters. Игры
Vegito is such a boss, blocking with nothing but a knee
That 11 hit Combo from the Monkey was some Tekken type shit lol
Yes and no.
Like Gogeta, Vegito is a fusion of Goku and Vegeta but whereas Gogeta was a product of a technique called the Fusion Dance, Vegito was formed by using the Potara earrings. The Potara are earrings worn only by those recognized as Supreme Kais. When two separate entities wear the matching set, they're forcibly merged into a more powerful singular being. Not just their appearance, but their clothing as well, hence why Vegito wears a gi like Goku, but with an inverted color scheme to match Vegeta's predominantly blue clothes along with his gloves and boots. The form is also much stronger and lasts longer, too. Originally, the fusion was thought to be permanent until Super retconned it into having a time limit for those who aren't deities.
When Im imagining random battles in my head, I clearly listen to the backtrack of this characters screen… even today lol
His final Kamehameha at close range had an insane speed cast.
Yeah, his moves were fast
Beat move in the game
Hiiiiaaaaahhh!! ) ----------💥
Vegetto (for me one of the best characters and had also one of the best songs) is the sub boss of this game before the giant ape Super Baby. Btw, that monster almost defeats you at 19:02.
I’m four bouts in and I wish I saw the move that comes from the ground. It was secret and wasn’t in the manuals lol. I think it was left right down up beam button. Hands everyone by surprise because it looked like a taunt
Since I was a child, I never understood what Vegetto said when he used the 'spirit sword”!
Anyone knows?
The ending should be the second version after unlocking all the hidden chacracters. All the Goku's should be in SSJ form not base mode. SSJ Goku (Z) and Vegetto on left side and SSJ Trunks (Z) and SSJ4 Goku on the right. Finally Super Baby's face should be in the background🤓
do people play Final Bout competitively? I know it gets used for speedruns
Vegito and ssj4 Goku were the most OP characters in that game.
Goku had his combo moves improved to the point of doing insane damage and vegito had the fastest casting time for ultimate attacks.
Note: i would swith off both DEMO and M.T.O. in the options menu every single time playing this game. This makes ultimate casting less time-consuming by removing the cutscene and would also make them easier to avoid and impossible to be deflected or trigger the annoying clash counters.
Disabling m.t.o. will turn of those cinematic combos for both sides, meaning they can no longer try to sneak on you with them.
it's so strange to hear different VAs for these characters 😂
It's weird hearing the English version. I have the Japanese import.
Yea the japanese is original
@@twitchyglue1133 of course. It's from Japan! 🤪
If you can defeat SUPER BABY in HARD MODE, and with rest of LIFE BAR not smaller than 75% BAR, you can face SSJ4 GOKU in Final Match after SUPER BABY.
This game that most trouble to make controller fastly broken because use any button rapidly to win the game.
What he's saying in 01:06, it is Spirit Sword (スピリッツソード Supirittsu Sōdo) atttack, but what I hear is he not that.
“Zannen datta na” which translates to what a waste. It’s what he tells Super Buu in their fight.
@@stayslump6892 Thank you, I always wondering what he's said since I was a boy.
@@stayslump6892 what he says before the final Kamehameha move?
8:25 19:29 Oh come on... What you're going to do? Shall we continúe?
01:07
What did he say? Is it in Japanese?
I ASK THE SAME..
“Zannen datta na” it could be translated as “what a waste..”
It means, "What a shame"
The exact word he said to super buu
This game is worth some money now. I have it but its cracked smh
What
No sacan el Big Bang de Vegito
20 years ago when I play this, I usually TURN OFF M.T.O and DEMO..
So, I can use VEGITO with his FINAL KAMEHAMEHA that so fast can be shoot directly..
I can win faster than this user because I always use FINAL KAMEHAMEHA from long distance, when my opponent still cannot stand normally I use my FINAL KAMEHAMEHA again than can be executed only 1 sec...
why does picollo sounds southern lmao
fucking vegeto sigma male walk 3:14

It's vegito, not vegetto
Where does the I come from?
@@CrystalGreymon search up "Vegito" and you'll see why
@@bulmabriefs5850 That's not an answer, nor does it point me in the direction. But worry not because I already had the answer and I'll happily tell you.
The I DOESN'T come from anywhere. Not in English.
Vegetto is the official way it is supposed to be spelt and Vegito simply stuck when localizing it.
All fusions are simply portmanteaus of the fusees names. In this case: Vegeta and Kakarotto as it would have been written in Japanese.
If you want something more accurate for how his name should be written, it'd be the Viz Manga's localization which uses Vegeta and Kakarot, making his name Vegerot.
The point I'm making is that whilst you're technically not wrong for choosing the spelling you prefer, you're not right to be forcing it as the official spelling when there are several spellings for the character's name that are all technically correct based on things like territory and context.
Don't hound others about their choices and if you feel obligated to, at least find out why they chose that specific choice first.
lol I played this when I was a kid. and my classmates didnt believe vegetto was a thing 😂
But vegetto is the original spelling. Vegito is when people try to make it sound like japanese like coorah for cooler
Vegetto is the Japanese name
