Excellent video and comparison Dean. You just made my life exponentially harder. I was almost sure I was going to stick with the Phantasm line as I am well invested in it.
    😖Thanks for that. 😆

Time to warm up the mastercard Maury, the one lock is worth every bit.

Great to see these reviews of the one lock system ... Will be interested to hear your take on the 1325cm for super light days and also how the 925cm on a wingcraft compares to 899. Thanks for putting this content out there!

Thank you for the feedback. It is much appreciated. And yes, I will be getting the 1325 and the 925 with a carbon mast. Stay tuned for more reviews. Cheers 👍

@@peaplecreative follow up question - I ride my phantasm setup almost all the way up front on my slingshot wing craft v2 board and am wondering the shortened foil trailing edge to mast distance will essentially make it impossible to get the center of lift to same location with one lock. Do you have a sense of whether you're able to ride the one lock in the same location as the phantasm or are you nudging it forward?

Hi !! really cool to see you tested it ! I'm not sure to understand... The Aluminium pack 2025 is lighter than the Phantasm carbon ??? What did you feel about the flex of the aluminium mast ? I've heard that the stiffness is remarkable for such a material. Thanks a lot !

The One Lock is lighter because the Phantasm has a solid aluminum fuselage and bolts, so it makes it 1.5 lbs heavier. I should be getting the carbon one lock mast soon and it will make the foil a bit lighter again. The aluminum mast feels fine, but I have only been using it in light winds, if I drive the foil really hard, then carbon will always be better in my opinion.

@@peaplecreative Thanks a lot for your answer! Yes, i know for the Phantasm. I've got one since two years :) and i saw the new Onelock high modulus 82 few weeks ago... really light! unfortunatly i didn't have the opportunity to try it :/ Really surprised by the lightness of aluminium pack ! That's good news ! 🤗 I've heard that carbon masts is 25% stiffer thant Phantasm masts.. and HM masts...are 60% more !!

So, do you end up running the new pedestal an inch farther forward than with your PTM 999 (which I'm using)? Does this have any noticeable impact on yaw response, or otherwise? I'm pretty far back in the tracks now, I expect this would put me close to center.

Did you try the to shim the tail? In my case (72kg and ptm899), for every +0.5° (less lift) I can put the mast about 1cm further forward. Right now im even stacking the 1.5° and the 0.5° for a total of +2°, feels great and the mast is now in the middle of the tracks. Neutral angle is 2.25°, according to slingshots support.

With the aluminum mast base, the back of the last edge of the base is at #8 with the 1125/180 (same as PTM999/Turbo) with the phantasm carbon mast it is closer to #9
