I speak a bit French but Spain seems better for remote workers. Are there many foreigners? Is it much better to learn Spanish and integrate? I feel like English speaking countries are cold and/or expensive.
Social groups take time. I reckon' it might take a year to get started. Spanish is not hard at all but you need practice and living on the spot is the best practice you can get. Then it's all up to you - do you purposefully look for connections to practice Spanish, go do activities where you can meet people, are open socially (smile a lot, etc.) and so on.
Hello from Colombia! First and foremost Congratulations on your channel and thank you very much for all the content 💯👏😊 I am writing to you because my girlfriend and I are thinking of spending the winter on the Costa del Sol and we need some help in choosing which place would be ideal for us to live for a 2 month period (Nov and Dec) and I was wondering which one you recommend. What we are looking for is to be in a quiet, beautiful place, near the beach, good weather, close to supermarkets and places to walk where it is only necessary to take the car when we want to visit a town or city. Ideally, we are looking for a nice neighbourhood just outside a city and with a good transport connection where we need the car just to explore things outside the urban area. Thank you very much in advance for your help. 😊😁🛫

I'd bet you get will much nicer shots without so many people around right now! lol. How about a video of what's opening up and what tourists can expect in the upcoming months as the countries are opening up from lockdown.
The best and fastest would be the golden (investor) visa. Buy a property worth at least 500.000€ . Other option (less expensive) is the "Non-profit" residency (meaning that you can't work, only live of off your savings or other income) , you do have to show proof of sufficient income to sustain you (and your family) for an extended period of time. Hello Nellie Winter! Thank you so much for the nice video. Could you please give me some information about the educational sector in Malaga? I'm a university lecturer, so I would probably have more chances finding work in this field...
Hi there, I wish I could. I suppose teaching would be in demand anywhere in Spain, especially if you can teach English and speak a bit og Spanish 🙂 but I'm not an expert ln that field myself, sorry about that.
The university of Malaga is very small. You can find better opportunities in Sevilla, Madrid or Barcelona. Even in Salamanca and Valladolid, where there all plenty of international students
Hii, so I’ve always wanted to live and study in an university in Spain but in a small town like Malaga. My questions are : 1) What type of Spanish are the people speaking there - castellano or anadaluz ? 2) Are there any good universities and do you know anything about the prices? 3) And overall is Malaga a student city?
I'm transferring to Malaga University next year from Southampton, it seems like one of the best universities in southern Spain, and the people I've met so far have been so nice. Most of the cheapest accommodation in Malaga seems to be student accommodation and so many bars have student deals, so I'd definitely say it's a student area if you stay close to the city centre / campus. As for the variety of Spanish, most of what I've heard they have an Andalusian accent where they don't pronounce the 'S' as clearly, but it's easy to get used to. Hope this helped!
Where is your business based? I know that you dont pay any taxes if you are paying them in another country within the European Union, but not sure about other nationalities... good question though! 🤔
One big question that I have is, What's your source of income.? I know its private, I want to move to Spain, but that's a big issue for me. even though I'm 100% fluent in Spanish
Hi, thanks for your comment. Im self-employed, working as a social media manager, location-independent and my business is based in Germany so I'm not sure I can help you too much with that question 🙈
@@NellieWinter Thanks for your answer, the income is the only thing that worries me, and I do not want to depend on the Spanish economy, (after this crisis, would be hard to even find a part time job there) Probably I should wait a little longer, so I can figure it out, Thanks again

Hi, im Adrian and i intend moving to Malaga as soon as possible. In this regard im looking for a job in health and fitness field for english speakers. I specialize in herbal counseling and in designing nutritional and herbal plans for various health conditions. Also i would like to collaborate with a fitness center and hold fitness classes on the beach. ( training people on the beach would be a great pleasure for me). Other skills: relaxing massage for sporty people, health advisor.
Becky Nelson the Spanish are great people. I've lived here for the best part of 8 years and have no regrets. There is a fair bit of paperwork involved before you settle but it's well worth the move. I would not return to UK in a box! The place is in chaos, you only have to compare the fatalities of the covid 19 to realise how much better off we are in Spain. There is also respect for authority here I.e. If the police tell you to do something then it's done, not back chatted or V signed. When people come here with a view to live they should remember that it is a foreign country and things are different, it's not Blackpool pleasure beach with decent weather. Best move I made all day long. X
Sher Dil hi it’s quite easy as an eu citizen to get registered just that for all the IT these people use nothing seems to be linked and you need a form for one thing, take that to another office get another form etc etc. One single transaction and there are several, depending on the time of day can actually take a day. You see all government offices close at 14:00 then reopen at 17:00. Somethings it is best to employ a local solicitor as I did for my Spanish driving licence, simple straight forward one for one swop. Only took 12 months and 3 days, the traffic office kept sending it back with just the car licence on it, which being a professional truck and bus driver is no good to man nor beast. We got there in the end tho.
Great video. Tired of the fast pace & cold in Chicago. Looking to retire in Spain. Malaga looks like a great place to live. Are there certain documents a person needs to purchase a home or apartment?
You will need to register and apply for your Nie ( Id number for foreigners) in your consulate to buy a house in Spain. Also apply for a residence visa and show proof that you have sufficient income or a pension to maintain yourself. Once you are in Spain, also has to register as a resident

I'd bet you get will much nicer shots without so many people around right now! lol. How about a video of what's opening up and what tourists can expect in the upcoming months as the countries are opening up from lockdown.
I haven't been to Motril, but will keep it in mind! Thanks for your suggestions Sandia 🙂
So which is better to move to Valencia or Malaga? Thx💖
For me, a sun lover, the weather is better in Malaga. 😎
Very nice video, but i want to know about living cost of santander spain, would like to help to know me the details?
Hello, I'm exploring where to move ... I'm a vegan, so I'm wondering if this type of food is readily available in Malaga. Thank you. :-)
Yes, I’m seriously thinking if this. I already speak Spanish but I live in Canada. Thinking of retirement. Do you have information on that?
The best and fastest would be the golden (investor) visa. Buy a property worth at least 500.000€ . Other option (less expensive) is the "Non-profit" residency (meaning that you can't work, only live of off your savings or other income) , you do have to show proof of sufficient income to sustain you (and your family) for an extended period of time. More info(you can google translate if you don't understand) here : www.reclamador.es/blog/tarjeta-residencia-no-lucrativa-requisitos-documentacion/
Move to Malaga or Alicante ? :)
What money they use in Malaga ?
Nice video.
Best regards RB Fotographie 😉
Hi in your opinion ,which sea city is good for a single men to meet young pelople and bohemian life ?
Barcelona
Great! Thank You ☺️
Sounds like the place to be. 🥂
sehr interessantes Video, hoffentlich dürfen wir ALLE bald wieder reisen. ♪♪♪
So she had only been living in Malaga a week before making this video?
@@lexidyakova2670I’m too hoping to go there next year
My most fav city in the world! I wanna buy a summer house within 10 years therr
Nice idea, can I join you? 😉
@@aminebeldjilali9362 lol, nice one
Great video! Do you know if you have to pay any monthly taxes for working in spain as a digital nomad?
Where is your business based? I know that you dont pay any taxes if you are paying them in another country within the European Union, but not sure about other nationalities... good question though! 🤔
English works ?
1:08 That shark must be enormous!
Malaga ❤❤❤
so $1,300 a month for an apartment? That is crazy expensive.
Who said 1,300? Ours was 700.
Malaga is expensive
Had to mute the obnoxious soundtrack. Good quality video though.
😍😍😍
Cost of living is going to be Pennie’s on the dollar if you are from the North east US, so don’t worry.
To be honest the only downside to Malaga is that Real Madrid is in Madrid 😢
#halamadrid
Hi, im Adrian and i intend moving to Malaga as soon as possible. In this regard im looking for a job in health and fitness field for english speakers. I specialize in herbal counseling and in designing nutritional and herbal plans for various health conditions. Also i would like to collaborate with a fitness center and hold fitness classes on the beach. ( training people on the beach would be a great pleasure for me). Other skills: relaxing massage for sporty people, health advisor.
:D
I'm leaving 😃
Málaga is definitely a good place for expats
I just hope Spanish people are okay with the number of people who want to leave the U.K for Spain before Brexit!
They should remain in Uk, cause the voted for Brexit. They are against free movement of people, isn’t? Or they just want the rules for the others??
I am spanish and I like very much British people. Boris Johnson no.
Bonita
Too many gringos, guiris already?
Far too much face time with a presenter! We don’t need to watch her we’d rather see more of Malaga. Please!
I am not impressed at all looks like a typical town in India
"Also, like in most spanish cities, there is a Moorish castle .. on a hill " -- uneducated random stereotypical comment
Don’t used Malaga hospitals they are 3 word
What alternative would you recommend....
No te lo crees ni tú
Thanks for the content, however, the music on your video is much too loud which makes it hard to understand you.
