I’m a recovering addict too and I agree it is very impressive. Of course he’s had “good luck” sprinkled in there…but he decided to move to LA, work normal jobs like waiting tables while auditioning for plenty of roles he didn’t get. He finally got MadTV and some commercial deals, but he talks about how hard it was for Asians to get a foot in the door back then. I think he was meant to be exactly where he is. He gave tons of comedians and actors their start…and keeps millions of people laughing every week! Those are some amazing accomplishments. (All of this despite the abuse he faced growing up)

It’s amazing. I’ve heard Bobby tell the story about the keyboard at least 50 times. Lol and it’s funny every time. But he was telling it like he had never told it before. I just shows you how much he podcast, he’s a machine!
Without exception the only time I felt bad for him was the very first time I heard it, every time afterwards , I think about all the messed up shit he's done over his childhood & teens.
Like the time bobby & steebie hit his grandma who was paralyzed up from the neck down with sticks because she couldn't feel it, or when bobby stole like 10k for drugs and blamed it on his father's employees. 😅

2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for added texture)
Note: You can also add chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans if you prefer.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Baking time: 25-30 minutes
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides to easily lift the brownies later.
In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, melt the butter until it's fully liquefied. Let it cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together. This helps remove any lumps and ensures an even distribution of dry ingredients.
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients in the large mixing bowl. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined. Be careful not to overmix at this stage.
If you choose to add chocolate chips or nuts, fold them into the batter.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, but not raw batter. The exact baking time may vary depending on your oven, so keep an eye on them after 25 minutes.
Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan on a wire rack. After they've cooled for about 15 minutes, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the brownies from the pan. Allow them to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Serve the delicious brownies on a plate or store them in an airtight container for up to several days.
