So whats the deal with conq, I was running conq ,red smite and deaths dance on 3rd item for like 20 games on smurf for testing and I actually could fight like a normal Bruiser in fights , I want a opinion from your perspective
He usually uses conqueror in tanky matchups if he needs to become a bruiser. He uses HoB for assassin gameplays. You can watch his gameplays in his channel!
The safest option to have great teamfighting potential is evolving r- then w. Q evolve does not increase the dmg on it directly, but it halves cd on isolated targets and increases it's range.
Personnaly I find Hail of blade too valuable to pass for early game presence. Without HOB Kha is less likely to win an early Fight. You can even use bushes between auto (pulled out several time and it just shred stuff). The first auto attack goes off so fast it's actually a LIFE SAVER against the like of Katarina or Talon, on top of taking off guard people banking on their flash to save them. Conqueror is nice and all, but most fight when it could make a difference over HOB often end up in over extend for you and you'd rather disengage. I also dislike E second, as it is often too predictable and doesn't help securing objectives through Zoning, something W Achieve easily, while also securing kills, you already have your evolved R to pick apart the ennemy team or to draw their attention for your carries to do their job.
As a fellow khazix main experimenting with runes myself over the years I can whole-heartedly endorse HoB on khazix, imo it is the Single Best keystone for the champion

Conqueror: Bruiser Bug.

I allways evolve q first. I'm so used yo the extra Range that if i don't evolve Q first i miss all the E Q combos :/
