I played it when it first came out. You’re letting nostalgia cloud your judgement. The game was a huge downgrade from Black Ops 2 in every way. The maps were worse, the movement and feel of the game was worse, the campaign was worse. The guns and kill streaks were worse. The look of the game was awful as well, so drab and grey instead of the bright colors of Black ops 2 It’s one of the worst cod’s I’ve ever played. About as bad as Vanguard
And Middle East terrorists as well. Could’ve gone to make an enemy with China. Iran. North Korea etc. that last bit was made in an unrealistic form of Homefront games. But they only used North Korea to replace China as the invaders. It could’ve made sense for China to dominate militarily other countries. But China isn’t stupid to invade. Theyre known for its famous author Sun Tzu. And his art of war book. Influential book for later military leaders in history. But they decide to use Venezuela as its boogeyman but decide to expand it into almost all of Latin America.
This was actually pretty interesting as, like you said, the Federation weren't all that fleshed out in the game despite being the enemy. Another thing I wished they did in the game is tell us what happened in Europe and even Asia as I think most of the campaign is set in both North and South America. Was the Federation only in South America, or did they spread to other countries that were looked down on by more powerful countries? Perhaps a similar faction rose up in Europe. The reason why I say this is that, if the Federation was such a huge threat, why were the US the only ones seemingly dealing with them, I understand that the world wasn't as it once was, but I'm pretty sure places like the UK, France and possibly even Russia and China would want their slice of the cake, meaning oil and resources that South America now had as I'm sure the US also did and perhaps used the killing of Americans as an excuse to attack the Federation.

Nice vid bro, I hope u do a video about the potential of the mole in BO6. Here are suspicious clues and counter evidence about a potential being the mole, let's analyze : 1) Jason Hudson : => Sus clues : 1. During the interrogation of Kravchenko, he wanted to interrogate Kravchenko himself by stopping Woods. To prevent Kravchenko saying something he knows about CIA or maybe Hudson being involved with Menendez in th past? 2. Hudson said that Kravchenko is just trolling us. Did Hudson lie? 3. Hudson wanted to keep Menendez alive and always try to stop Woods losing control when seeing Menendez in the mission Time and Fate. Maybe he knew Menendez before even Black Ops 2 story begins ? Remember in WW2, the italian mafia collaborated with US against Nazi Germany. So maybe Hudson have done something before we don't know, some kind of accord that got his hands dirty? 4. Hudson said he was in the bodybag and we didn't see the body. Was he lying? 5. In the mission Suffer with Me, he was inactive in comms which was sus. => Counter evidence: Hudson is not the mole because Menendez called some people in the CIA to capture David Mason and Hudson and was threatening Hudson to kill David Mason and also Hudson's Family. He did save David Mason from being killed and he sacrificed himself. 2) McKnight : 1. When we met him, he said that he saw Alex Mason's case file about being brainwashed by the soviets. Would he said that because McKnight knows who were Soviet's sleeper agents in the CIA and use them to help Menendez ? 2. During the mission, he wasn't visible with us during the mission when he separated with Mason and Woods. What was he really being doing during that time before capturing Noriega and after ? 3. At the beginning, McKnight said that CIA wanted Noriega alive. Did he knew about Nexus Target before starting the mission? 4. After capturing Noriega, we don't hear about him anymore which is suspicious (sus). 5. He is a new character in the story, we don't know really much about his background. 6. McKnight according to the gameplay, he is the only one who didn't tell his wife about the invasion. Is that has something to do with evil plan? Counter evidence : McKnight needed to know with who he is working with by seeing all case files including Woods and Hudson. He had family issues as usual and he could have died during the invasion if Panama or doing something else ordered by the CIA like for example Russel Adler hunting Perseus and meanwhile Alex Mason looking for the defector and hunting Dragovich and his minions in Vietnam. 3) Manuel Noriega : => Sus clues: 1. He helped Menendez in most of the missions and collaborated with him after our protagonists was thinking that Menendez died. That was the last straw for the CIA, Operation Just Cause started. 2. Noriega was working with the CIA temporarly for money to capture Menendez. Did he knew some people in the CIA before resignation about the collaboration? Corrupting people ? 3. When we captured him, he said "call ur boss". He did knew about Menendez's plan. Counter evidence: He was only playing his part only for money and revenge against US and had nothing to do with the mole. 4) Russel Adler : 1. We don't know about his background very well and he always has been a shady character. 2. He got a scar in his face. Does that has to do with the mole story? Maybe he knew someone and that someone reappeared later. > Example : Like Expendables 3, when Stonebanks and Barney was working together with their squad and then Barney saw his friend Stonebanks making his hands dirty (dealing with drugsdealers and more bad things) to do the "good" job and Barney didn't have choice but to execute him and he reappeared later which is the story plot of Expendable 3. Maybe something to do with that kind of story? Similar to James Bond Golden Eye story With Alec and maybe we gonna see something like that in BO6 maybe? 3. Russel Adler was Stitch's sleeper agent, maybe he was activated to help Menendez and McKnight is behind this being indeed the true mole and he want to blame it to Russel Adler being the false mole? Also, We saw Vorkuta in BO6, maybe Stitch is alive since we don't see him dead instead Adler and the team captured him and gave him to the russians for being responsible of Verdansk disaster. Something to do with the numbers again? Or maybe seeing John Trent, the new identity of Victor Reznov being there and will give us some intel about how to stop the madness about the potential of mole's existence? => Counter evidence: Adler was always a good guy and we have The Truth Lies marketing which suggest that Adler has being framed and accused about something he did not do. 5) Black ops 6: It's a new story that has nothing to do with the old ones. NB: Jenny, David Mason's babysitter could have been the mole but i don't so since she loves having him like before according to Hudson in the Alaska intro.
Idk why i have in mind that, it's kind of silly story to tell but if you watched Regular Show : The Movie a long time ago, it's very similar to COD Ghost story in some aspects : Mr.Ross is Gabriel Rorke.
