Am I the only one who thinks they’re about to watch a nature documentary with the music he chose? Makes me smile and I love that nice touch. Makes me want to start making holsters for my SAA
It's stunning. Such a gorgeous piece, like an A-list starlet from a classic Western would carry. I feel like I'm in the wrong pay grade to be admiring it so much 🤍
Been making anything and everything out of leather that pops in my head. Though the finished product is great to see, hand carving and embossing is now my true love and passion. Leather is such a great art form. Love watching everyone’s videos still, because for one project, there’s a 100 ways to complete it! Great holster!
I enjoy watching you work. You know your craft very well. I'm sure it took a while to learn all you know. Could be your still learning new techniques. Those holsters are a work of beauty.
You have a great style and I love your simplistic approach to your workflow. Did a few projects of my own with Angelus white and finished it off with a top coat of Resolene.
I always love watching your videos. Your work is amazing. You have so many cool tricks. The white paper between the stitching and the burnishing tool, the electric razor. Seriously, good stuff man. One teensy tiny little piece of advice though, getting a little heavy on the ads. Kinda kills the "ASMR" vibe.
My mind kept switching on who would use this holster...Preacher? Undertaker? Legendary Paladin/hero? Maybe someone who "wears" all 3 hats...preacher entering town, discovers many bad guys™, Paladin hunts them down, and Undertaker cleans up the mess!
Great videos! Since I am retired I am going to use some of your techniques to try making a holster. Are your sanding blocks homemade? If so, what grit works best to smooth the edges?
Im a small leathercrafter from alabama. This is the level of work i hope to someday achieve. Is there anywhere i can buy a template for the patterns you use?
OK sir, first off is the hats to you. That rig has had to have made necks crack turning to look at it. The nicest I've seen you do yet. If I may, what were you using on the threads to darken them?
Let's see if this works (if not, just search "leather punch cutter set" on Amazon; there's several variations of it). www.amazon.com/dp/B0773KJ4CM/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B0773KJ4CM&pd_rd_w=xcESF&pf_rd_p=0c758152-61cd-452f-97a6-17f070f654b8&pd_rd_wg=OpbdM&pf_rd_r=TGF14R45VTF5KSB57ZVC&pd_rd_r=ec292b31-209e-46d7-9096-337322dc4587&s=industrial&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzMDhLUFdWQjc4Ukk2JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzYwMzIyWjBXVkc0U0xRR0NZJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0NzA0NjRETEpNMFk3WU5XRkkmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
the Angelus paints are more durable than you would think...but it's never going to hold up like dye. Biggest problem will be the color . . . white shows everything. There's a point at the end of the video where I'm doing touch-up airbrushing just from it getting dingy from handling.
If I buy online I buy sides. However, I have two Tandy Leather stores within 15 minutes of me--one being their large headquarters store. So I often end up buying double or single shoulders. Sometimes bends. Just depends on what they have and what I need.
which one? My most-used cutter (the knife I use to cut the initial pattern out of the leather with) is a Pfeil #10 chip carving knife -- technically a woodworking knife -- I have lots of tools that are cross-discipline :). The slightly larger knife I occasionally use is an Al Stohlman trim knife.
Awesome project. Subscribed and have been binge watching your other videos. Do you create your own patterns? Are they for sale or do you use another companies?
Most are my own patterns. But I also use patterns from Tandy and Will Ghormley. I don't have any of my patterns for sale yet; though I am working on one and it will eventually be the subject of a video.
The general mass have no clue what goes into leather pieces, I learned when I to my car a long time ago to have the seats done in leather, the lady told me the price I was shocked and she seen it in my eyes 👀, then she asked would you rather have vinyl? I said no leather only please, she then took me in her extremely clean work space and proceeded to start laying out the skins of cows and you can see the knots and hot spots etc as well as the cuts around the legs etc, and then I understood why leather is for Regal pieces, it does not come in rolls!!!!!!
The white holster is beautiful. I've never seen one before. A special talent you have.
Yessir . That is a piece of art.
Nicely done 👍👍
Thanks for subscribing!
If Prince had been a gunslinger, that holster would be a perfect accessory. Man what a cool piece of work.
I've never seen white holster before. It's just gorgeous
Am I the only one who thinks they’re about to watch a nature documentary with the music he chose? Makes me smile and I love that nice touch. Makes me want to start making holsters for my SAA
I was thinking more like the t.v. show "how it's made". beautiful work though!
Can't believe how intricate this process is.
Well, that was a pretty good way to spend my time! I really enjoyed watching you, and am now going to watch some more! Thank you for sharing 🤠
It's stunning. Such a gorgeous piece, like an A-list starlet from a classic Western would carry. I feel like I'm in the wrong pay grade to be admiring it so much 🤍
You Sir are an artist!
HiHo Silver away! That looks fantastic!

Great work buddy. I really like watching you make these. I really like the colors too. Well done sir
Now this is the coolest holster I've ever seen made! And I love how you painted this one white! Outstanding!
I've been experimenting with making veg tan leather white lately. But never thought to use my air brush. This holster looks fantastic! Nice job!
Wild looking holster! Great work and attention to detail as always.
Very good job. That's Beautiful Work.
Wow! What a craftsman. Amazing work. I wish I was able to do that.

It's difficult enough to do leather work with clean edges, but without handling it too much to put scuffs & creases in it is top tier work!
Wheew. Talk about knocking the ball out of the park! Great project and great video.
Beautiful work.
Wow that is art !!
Thanks!
Outstanding skills!
Its beautiful,Nice work😊
Another great holster and video
Impressive attention to detail! Can’t believe you don’t have way more subscribers. I’m going to try some of your techniques on knife sheaths👍
The hero is back!!!!!

Beautiful, looks like something buster scruggs would wear
Absolutely awesome!
You are very dam good at what you do. I wish I could afford your work.
Truly amazing work.
Beautiful, thanx for showing us
Badass, man. Love your work.
Stunning mazing work 👍👍lv the white look of the leather lv to have that hanging on my wall in livenroom 👍👍🛸
Gorgeous!
Not even close to my type of holster, but amazing to watch the skill and sureness of hand in assembling such a work of art. Great video!
Domed rivets make this really nice.
Spectacular!
Very nice 👌
If I ever manage to own a chrome and white Whitney Wolverine, I'm totally gonna order you a holster like this one for it.
Absolutely too cool, thanks for the inspiration
Outstanding ! 💪🏻👍🏻
Espectacular, muy buen trabajo 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏👏👏👏👏👏

thank you for showing us how you sharpened your rounded edge tool♡♡♡
Oh man!! I never seen that buzz- cutter trick before either!!♡ you are badass!

Amazing!!!
it's beatiful!!!
How much I love it
My mind kept switching on who would use this holster...Preacher? Undertaker? Legendary Paladin/hero? Maybe someone who "wears" all 3 hats...preacher entering town, discovers many bad guys™, Paladin hunts them down, and Undertaker cleans up the mess!
I'm sure the late General G. S. Patton would have bought two of them.
I two of them
That is a creation of genius proportion. Buster Scruggs?
love that movie! The Buster Scruggs rig is one of those I've been looking to recreate.
it looks like something Buster Scruggs would use
That's gonna make some cowgirl real happy partner.
Very impressive work!!!!! Who makes your silicone roller and where can one be purchased?
Im a cohiba blue guy myself. 😁👍🏼
Thanks for subscribing! I actually don't have any patterns that are ready (yet). But plan on dipping my toe into that on my Etsy store soon.
6:30 is that where RDR2 got that sound effect from?
Do you enjoy smoking Cigars? I noticed the cuban rounds logo. 😁👍🏼💯
No. I have an acquaintance that smokes though. He gave me a bunch of old cigar boxes. I use them for a variety of storage needs.
OK sir, first off is the hats to you. That rig has had to have made necks crack turning to look at it. The nicest I've seen you do yet. If I may, what were you using on the threads to darken them?
Awesome work. What about abrasion resistance? How does this paint fare in long-term use? Cheers!
Beautiful as always brother. Would you car to throw up a link for where you got those oblong punches you used with the arbor press?
Let's see if this works (if not, just search "leather punch cutter set" on Amazon; there's several variations of it).

@@RoadAgentLeather Awesome thank you! And once again BEAUTIFUL work. I love the white.
The difference between good quality tools and not so much. I can sometimes struggle on straight edges as he seemingly flys through curves lol
Masterful. You run that groover with precision and I cringe when I watch.
Hello, what kind of paint do you use to dye the leather?
So how much would something like that run for in price range??
Can I ask - why don’t you cut your lines in with a swivel knife? I really enjoy your content. Thank you.
What brand of air brush are you using. I’ve been thinking about getting one. If you have a link to that would be great. Thanks
I have a couple. In this video I'm using a Badger Patriot Extreme
@@RoadAgentLeather thanks. I’m sorry I didn’t mention it before, but absolutely beautiful holster. I love your work!!!
Why wouldn't you sew on the middle piece before you sewed on the backing?
All it needs now is the rest of the cartridge rig in white/silver, and Clevon Little could have worn it proudly in Blazing Saddles LOL
Could you do a black and purple western style for a 2011?.
Is that Buster Scruggs holster?
Hola cómo estás? Exelente trabajo, como se puede adquirir el molde de este proyecto. Gracias desde Argentina
I have to know, how many times has that knife skipped and got you?
This is truly beautiful. How deep are those border and stitch lines?
Great job! which stamp was used on 3:29 ?
Thanks! It's a Barry King Continuous Mule Feet
@@RoadAgentLeather thanks!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Was this holster made for Liborachi?
How does that white hold up over time
the Angelus paints are more durable than you would think...but it's never going to hold up like dye. Biggest problem will be the color . . . white shows everything. There's a point at the end of the video where I'm doing touch-up airbrushing just from it getting dingy from handling.
Do you come up with the designs yourself?
@6:05 What stamp is that you are using?
Craftool A114
Thank you, gorgeous holster, love the work on it.
👍👍👌👌
How much for the pattern of this holster?
How do you buy your leather, by the side, bend or just by the foot?
If I buy online I buy sides. However, I have two Tandy Leather stores within 15 minutes of me--one being their large headquarters store. So I often end up buying double or single shoulders. Sometimes bends. Just depends on what they have and what I need.
so what kind of cost am i looking at for one of those?
look me up on Etsy. "roadagentleather"
Can I ask what type of knife that is that you use? Trying to find one. Thank you.
@@RoadAgentLeather thank you so much. The small Pfeil is the one. Awesome.
Patterns where can I buy them
is this for a colt 45
yes.
Does anyone else think the music is a little too eerily close to what is played in zoo tycoon?
Haven't played that one. Thanks of watching!
@@RoadAgentLeather No Problem.

Can u make the "Bandit Holster" from red dead redemption 2?

Looks great but I would say more for a Lady.
かっこいい!!
