sorry. I don't have any VPC one. But that should be a problem for you. When you launch an ES cluster in VPC, you need to make sure it the client machine (where you are writing code / query) has access to ES in the VPC. Rest remain the same.

Let's say I want to do get all the versions of a particular record. Is it possible to fetch all the versions of a record ? or only the latest version is persisted by ES ?
Apologies for the late response due to my summer break. It seems querying by version is not possible because version field is not indexed. However, it is possible to list all versions of the a document and loop to find the document you are interested in. I think it is possible to set it up a the domain level.
