Great build. But I'm giving up. Cannot grasp when to parry Sephiroth. Takes at most 30 seconds and I'm done. If he would at least focus on the main (just like every other mob), I could handle that. Probably because you’re doing just that, copying it with no experience. This person probably practices for hours or days to become good enough to perfect parry most of the attacks. This isn’t supposed to be an easy way to beat them just because it’s done quickly; it’s a way for people with a lot of practice AND skill to be able to beat them fast, but you need to take the time to learn the enemy patterns
@@RAGEAlanBun Yeah that's fair, I honestly thought this was some cheese easy strat but it's insanely difficult to pull off, I could never do such perfect parries, I can't even see the attacks coming in the first place, especially Phoenix just interrupting me from offscreen.
@@BaalSilverwing It's not an "experience" thing trust THAT. I do find the vr simulators frustrating because sometimes the opponents may not consistently use the same abilities (meaning they could be a little bit more aggressive so if you start losing matches you were previously winning you are not tripping), some things probably could have been patched (like the phoenix dragging your character across the screen because who cares about the players right), and overall just very hit or miss. So I felt the frustration, I have beaten every vr challenge except for this one!
@@xRoycex I already got the platinum month ago and ironically enough I understood how this Tifa Divekick strat works for this challenge which helped me beat it :) There's steps that have to be done in proper order, once you get that muscle memory it's a breeze and learn the gimmicks of certain enemies like Odin. Hardest one was definitely Gilgamesh, divekicking alone won't get you anywhere, you MUST know how to parry, especially for Gilgamesh and Sephiroth you literally HAVE TO parry
3d brawler is actually kinda easy, just pause when they attack and take pics on your phone of each attack animation and make a note which stick direction to press. then just pause > unpause+spam the direction. Super easy.

@@biohead66 I just toughed it out… after accidentally resetting to Elena vs Rudy… twice. Fucking sucked. But yeah I pulled through. It was mad close though against Rufus.
Kudos to you for this. It takes me the length of this video to even beat Kujata so idk if there’s more going on other than just the build. I’m gonna have to stick to the limit loop method tho because I’ve tried this way countless times but the enemies are just too aggressive and I need constant healing
Beach party vs “Supposedly Strongest Enemy” 😂
วิธีแบบNo Brainเอาง่ายไว้ก่อน😂
Wait, how did you change the battle theme!? You can do that!? Or just clever editing?
How do I stop
Phoenix from reviving kujata? I can destroy him but phoenix instantly bring him back
you kill it? Well kill it faster, use partners in pain pull the phoenix away before it moves back to the center and starts reviving
yea it's p annoying because the time window is so short. I recommend maybe trying to activate partners in pain before delivering the killing blow on Kujata if you can.
My god! Your parrying is amazing! I beat by letting the computer do the auto parrying 😂😂😂
How to do this?
ngl this is the most bs set of vr missions i have ever done...........been a couple of weeks and i still cant get this done
Does tifa deal more dmg or pressure while midair? I noticed u used heavenly ascent to stagger alexander
It was a combination of focused strike and focused shot that staggered Alexander, not heavenly ascent.
I’m not entirely sure if focused strike builds more stagger from the air or not but the majority was a 2ATB focused shot and Tifa finished off the stagger with focused strike.
Can you replace any of the materia with the Access materia? I wanna get the data from Virtual Sephiroth
Cannot stand people who go through so fast on their builds. Even pausing doesn’t work sometimes
Change the video play speed to .25 or .5.
😂😂😂 omg. He whooped Sephiroth’s ass like it was nothing. I need to party that well.
You are the best FFVII Remake and Rebirth player I have ever seen 😮
All these comments saying great guide except this guy isn't explaining half the stuff he's doing and it's clear that he's ran this about 6000x before because he had Gilgameshs moveset down pat; like you can hardly call this a guide you haven't explained your strategy at all and it's clear to anyone watching this it's not just Divekicky you are doing, you are doing a very specific sequence of actions that is resulting in terrific damage numbers, what you aren't doing is explaining anything though to be fair this isn't called a guide :)
Welcome to the community lol
Curious to see if you can do something similar damage wise on the legendary one with Zack. Awesome video though.
what a bastard, trying to get that Octoslash off at the last second lol
U are a friggin beast. I’ll come back to this vid when I do this challenge.
Used your strat and did this challenge finally. Many thanks for the theory build.
I cant do it i tried all the day from yesterday 💔🌚
@@hayyinha Best advice i can personally give is maximize dps with tifa, hope you get a cycle which bahumut doesn't target tifa at the begging and for Gilgamesh i beat him more consistently by learning all his moves, spreading the party so every one is far away from each other and constantly swaping, bcs he only goes for the character you are currently controlling. For seph if he does chain your hole party and octaslashes you hope you have baret's life saver ability up so cloud and tifa will survive and be ready to res him. Phoenix comes cluch if you are running out of MP.
@@WaggishZX i reached sephiroth , he doing a move i cannot survive when he hold the charachter 💔🌚🌚🌚🌚
you are canceling rage and fall animation? How you do that? 0:28
hold square 2 times👍🏻
anyone know if the genji earrings are better than the fury ring for tifa?
I want to say fury rings are still superior. I saw someone post the calc difference but I'm fuzzy on the details.
Are these versions of summons at full power?
No they are not...they are at LEGENDARY power.
This is the hardest battle in the entire game...
to even have access to this u gotta beat 5 previous legendary battles, of which all of them have enemies in them that can 1 shot u.
the reward is the best item in the game: gotterdamerung
I already beat this but messing around other builds - had a specific question is octaslash physical damage or magic damage? I don’t want to waste extra mp if I don’t have to thanks o/
Watching this video gives me abit of confidence cus i made it this far with the same party but damn son you gotta play nearly perfect
Wow! Amazing! I'd pay you to do this. LOL
I would also be willing to pay a huge amount of cash lol this goddamn fight is a nightmare
He posted a video later using Yuffie + Aerith + Cloud with a Brumal Form spam. That actually worked for me and is really easy to pull off.
....what.... just happened.... wow
Is this build working for the other brutal challenges too?
I should hope so 😅cause this is the toughest one
@@BoBurnham69 i beat the challenge yesterday with the Yuffi, Aerith and Barret Build. This where Yuffi is in her Brumal Form. Give Aerith Genji Gloves. For the Gloves, you can start Chapter 12 on Hard and fast travel to Quezacotl and the red Morbol to fight them and craft the item.
Does fire and divekick allways work to pressure gilga or do u need to wait for a special attack from him to use the fire spell?
Yeah I’m confused when he pulls out genji shield
I cannot parry shadow chains even with that guide with slow time. How can I beat VR sephiroth without that? Even with barrier.
What combo are you spamming to get a full ATB charge per two hits?
its the lvl 2 unfluttered flury when it says rise and fall, hold square for the uppercut then press square again after for the special attack that fills up the atb bar instantly
Thanks! Today I learned Unbridled Strength (What I was using) is in fact not Unfettered Fury lol. @@soku330
So from what I see during the Gilgamesh fight Barret does 26500 dmg with lifeblood cannon. But he doesn't have the Genji Gloves equipped on him, is this something this attack breaks the limit when used with 3 atb charges?
it's firaga damage
its cloud firaga damage not barret
My time is 5:18 with plenty of room to spare wasnt going for a record.
I need to get fury ring but i just have no idea what setups to do with 6 person arena (its the only arena matches i cant stand)
Just put on easy
You can lower the game to easy for all the minigames. The only forced Hard is in the VR.
In easy you can do whatever.
Even the 6 person matches? I thought they were locked to hard mode but yeah i will do easy mode thanks!
@@platterbuss2328 no! Those matches are unlocked after Chapter 12, but they're able to be done in Easy difficulty if you wish so!
I think the highest level of them is easy is somewhere like 60? They're a joke in easy, to be fair.
How does Tifa regain HP from Gilgamesh's attacks?
I did it i beat it, it was so clutch but i used barrat lifesaver, aerith for manawall/heals/limit loop, and tifa was damage/heals. I perfect blocked three of sephs chains but had to interrupt him with synergy combos to and i somehow staggered him to brute force past BS first phase with tifa. Rest was a cake walk with fire absorb materia and aerith limit loop. Please tell me this is the hardest BS challenge in the game 😭
From what I heard it's actually the Zack+ Cloud one Zack feels severely undertuned for many
Ima try to do that aerith siphon thing instead
How are Barrett and cloud getting ATBs so easily without being on point?
Can you show the build? How exactly are you doing so much damage with tifa?
Nevermind I saw the build at the end. So what exactly are you casting in the beginning and what exactly are you doing?
@@Battousaimanslayer At the beginning of each round, he casts a Magnified Bravery & Haste and uses Barret’s Lifesaver skill to siphon any damage Tifa takes into himself. From there, its a matter of building up Tifa’s ATB to the point where she can cast Unrelenting Fury twice, increasing her damage output, and spamming Divekick to deal massive damage.
Yea he's doing 400 to 1000 with regular punching and I'm here doing 100 to 200 doing the same thing I don't get it
@@ryanreed1625did you upgrade and max out everything?
What’s the enemy skill materia used for?
Sonic Boom grants Bravery/Faith, so damage and buffs.
@@VGHistory1 OH good to know
1:15 HODA HODA HODA HODDAAA
How is this guy refilling Tifa’s ATB bar so fast with basic attacks?
Hi, did you even need darkside materia? Does it give any passive ability? Sorry but I don’t think I notice you use it at all
Darkside is optional you can take it off or use it so its make boss fight faster
If someone beats me this challenge I'll pay them €20, seriously.
Great build. But I'm giving up. Cannot grasp when to parry Sephiroth. Takes at most 30 seconds and I'm done. If he would at least focus on the main (just like every other mob), I could handle that. But right now Sephiroth is beyond bs. Gilgamesh is much easier, although he has more skills he randomly uses.
felt this in my soul.
How did you get cloud and Barrett to auto uae lifeblood cannon and firaga??
use shortcut👍🏻
god of gaming
In the fight against Gilgamesh, Tifa absorbs almost all the damage she takes. How do you do that?
Max level Elemental Materia absorbs the linked element (Fire, Ice, Fire and Ice, Lightning, Wind, Lightning and Wind) when placed in armor.
@@VGHistory1 what element is that attack?
Thanky to your guide im quite often able to go to round 4. But I need help with Gilgamesh. Can somebody explain me how to beat him? I mostly get killed by the attack where he stands on you and basically one hit ko's me
You can parry grabs if you upgrade the blocking materia
How do you get rage and fall? Isnt it rise and fall? I know for Yuffie the Supreme Art of War needs to be done consecutively but this is new to me😮
unfettered fury is like bridled strength, except it changes her physical attacks into magical attacks and changes her combo route a bit, her falling ender is now like chi trap. it's pretty cool
Is there a way to get around odin using reprisal every single time i try to divekick him
You need to either distract him with one of the others and use the menu to give Tifa the command Divekick, or just be quicker on it, I have only had him use it maybe once because I divekick when he turns and then he just vanishes after the second kick.
Uppercut then divekick
Holy shit, I didn't think to use Barrets Lifeblood cannon.. When I saw that 26k damage my life was changed! Thanks for the video!
its cloud firaga. lifeblood cannon canhit 9999 too its still nice

Nice vidéo
How in hell can u have so much healing on tifa thought?
Elemental + Fire on an Armor slot.
I tried like 5 different builds and still cant get past Gilgamesh 😭
Holy shit dude, you are insane!
Yea I'm following this exactly and I'm not doing nowhere near this much damage
Meanwhile I'm here desperately awaiting a build and strategy for tactitician gamers who simply don't have the technique to block and dodge in such a fast-paced setting.
Also, how the heck does anyone Divekick Odin? Whenever I do it, he does Reprisal. Just counters. I can't get past him because I can't avoid his Zantetsuken.
Would this work on challenge 5?
this is now my basis for my run, thanks
did you beat it?
@@DGEvil-Melon im about to attempt it,
edit : took me 3 hours to get right lmao, sephiroth was the only one giving me trouble, i also opted for red 13 as my caster instead of cloud cos of his higher healthpool and sustain, and buffs like watchers' respite and supernal fervor.
hi how can you get 6 materia on rune blade and 4 abilities ?
Gotta upgrade the Weapon Level
I don’t understand how she’s doing so much damage ? What inputs are you doing ?
Fury Ring grants Berserk.
Darkside increases damage by 20% at max level with a 5% hp cost.
She's absorbing Fire damage.
Sonic Boom Enemy Skill grants Bravery/Faith.
Barret has Enveration so he's reducing the enemy physical defense.
Then it's just going to town and using abilities.
@@VGHistory1 thanks for the break down, I’m surprised some of that even works on summons I figured they would be immune.
Can you make a guide for six person archfiends? (Battle for fury ring)
I don't get how your damage on dragon gloves is so high... ? I used same materia and still kaiser gloves are much higher. My divekicks are only doing like 3.5 to 4k can you tell me what I'm missing?
fury ring, and bravely buff
@@MaliceNX ahh yes yes
What the hell did I just watch, holy hell
Doesn't work for me at all, hard to predict incoming attacks, getting constantly flung away.. best I could do is get to round 3 and there Odin just killed everyone.. I don't understand how are people doing this, copied everything including skills and moves and yet I fail every time
Probably because you’re doing just that, copying it with no experience.
You can wear any outfits after finishing the game right?
yes
What would be a good substitute for Genji Glove? I really don't want to do the hard mode minigames especially 3d brawler
3d brawler is actually kinda easy, just pause when they attack and take pics on your phone of each attack animation and make a note which stick direction to press. then just pause > unpause+spam the direction. Super easy.
Well played.
Take a moment to prey for our Godess Tifa
