Now what would also be really handy would be if Avid allowed users to save channel strips in Pro Tools direct. Pretty much every other DAW on the market can do it except Pro Tools.
Hi, i don't know why but after installing the studiorack free plugin i can't load my plugins into that.. it says no plugins avaiable. when i load a preset it says plugins are disabled? but if i load them without the studiorack i got it all worked. i'm using Cubase 5. hope someone can help me out! thanks :) same studio rack that you are using in this video
just picked up my license for this...it's literally a channel strip builder which is awesome...now fabfilter just needs to bite their style and come out with one of these and I'll be fucking set for life...what I'm wondering is how well it plays with nls...like can you still control your individual channels from the bus if they're stuffed inside these
Am I missing something? I licensed my computer and downloaded the waves installer but which one installs the studio rack? There is no plugin designated with that name.
Can anyone give me advice on how to fix this issue please I'm on im currently using a macbook pro and when i go to studio rack its say no plugins available ?
@@PLAYBABYSTAR yeah but make sure the licenses are moved over. It doesnt automatically do that for you like it supposed to. I had them remote access my shit and it showed.
I own all the "chainer"-type plug-ins... Nomad Factory Magma, DDMF Metaplugin, Blue Cat MB-7 v2, Blue Cat Patchwork. And this looks to be the nicest implementation, if they open it up to third-parties.
The Waves Website FAQ identifies Plugin Alliance as the first third party plugins which are compatible with the SoundGrid Studio System. Plugin Alliance includes plugins by Accusonus, Brainworx, Elysia, Maag Audio, Noveltech, ProAudioDSP, SPL, and Vertigo. You can find the specific plugins for these developers at www.plugin-alliance.com/en/plugins.html. Given the comprehensive collection of Waves Plugins, plus all of these makes the SoundGrid Studio System a force to be reckoned with! Very Cool! :-)
Is this pro-tools only? I can't get the installer to run the Waves SoundGrid Studio installer which is needed to install StudioRack. I'm on a PC running StudioOne
That's what I want to know too. It seems like a great idea for native users, but if it's not going to consolidate CPU usage and make usage more efficient then I don't think it's worth it unless you have a DSP/DigiGrid system.
Dulla Bills im having the same problem. it was said that protools have to use its own playback engine. You have to set it up in th I/O settings. If i get it working ill let you know!
It why not just do it all in logic anyways?? I don’t get why you’d want to record in studiorack or whatever if your just going to bring it into logic??? Doesn’t make sense!?! Why not do the whole recording in logic!! ??? Sorry. It I don’t get it

Same problem but fl 20 pc
Move all licenses to laptop so studiorack can see them?
@@PLAYBABYSTAR yeah but make sure the licenses are moved over. It doesnt automatically do that for you like it supposed to. I had them remote access my shit and it showed.
@@PLAYBABYSTAR nah waves central. Manage licenses then select all licenses and move to computer.
Same

but how does it handle on cpu is it a bigger hit or the same?

When I use this vs putting plugins in separately without studio rack, the volume and sound is different even with the same settings :/ any thoughts?
this was my concern. affecting the chain ?
I suppose this has come from Patchwork and Slate VMR
Hello someone can help I tried to setup studio rack , it still asking me to find the folder waves 9.6 on Mac. thanks
Tengo el mismo problema... si alguien puede ayudar gracias...
Third party plugins don't seem to be working !!!
