I don't understand how you haven't reached 1,000,000 Subscribers. You make the most amazing knives and swords I have ever seen. I can't wait to buy your online class. Once my shop is set back up from moving, Im defiantly going to take your class. Thank you so much for making these videos.
@@Tyrone_Bone all about how you sell your product. Kyle makes bank every time he makes a blade. Alec makes all his money off views and sales of knife making products. Alec has got his character down and knows how to keep viewers entertained, Kyle does a good job of presenting the knife making process but lacks the outward persona that brings in more subs.
@@bennybooboo6789 I agree. I do like both, Kyle and Alec. I watch Alec because his video’s are entertaining and he does a good job explaining what he’s doing. But Kyle… Kyle is the far superior knife maker. I can only imagine how awesome his classes are.
@Drew8080 N Kyle is a master Smith, Alec isn't, I'd be worried if kyle DIDNT make superior work. I think the big turn off for a lot of kyle's viewers, especially the beginners, is the fact that he's always doing crazy Damascus stuff which can be a bit much for them, especially when he starts using tools and methods they cant relate to. Alec started off simple and used tools and steel that everyone can get their hands on.
I've watched a lot of blade makers on RUclips and Kyle is.... EASILY, BY FAR, THE BEST !!!!! The craftsmanship, the attention to detail, the absolute out of the box creativity...... Is out of this world. He makes such beautiful pieces. 👍👍
Cuz we love guns, fancy knives are fancy and all... But nothing more than decorative pieces, bang-bang-bang for the win, bang-bang ur dad, bang ur mom, gang bang ur sis.
I’ve seen you do this process so many times now with slight alterations and nuances but am still as blown away as I was when I first found your channel all those years ago. Hats off to your brother too, the music is always so immersive and evocative. Truly a master of your craft ☕️
My 5 yr old son loves watching your videos. After this one he promptly got up and sketched a knife shape on paper then constructed a knife out of Lego and drew all over it with a sharpie to get a "Damascus pattern". Love to see him inspired. Thanks mate
Guys I just want to say that Kyle and his dad are both super nice people. I’ve met them both a couple times at different knife shows and they were always really nice and took the time to talk with anyone that stopped by their table. The “average joe” at the knife show likely can’t afford one of Kyle’s knives, but he doesn’t treat them any different than someone with really deep pockets.
The continuity you get in your patterns, even through multiple cutting and restackings, really exemplifies the level of preparation and care that you put into it. Never fails to impress.
As always, Kyle Royer, your quality of work and craftsmanship make it difficult to put into words how mesmerizing these creations are.. I'm sure seeing it in person is even more breathtaking.
You are a true artist. I could never hope to afford one of your masterpieces but watching the effort you put into your craft, one can see the pride and passion you invest with your blood, sweat, and tears. Amazing every time!
Watched this as a series, but watching this now doesn’t feel like I’m rewatching it because of how much effort and skill went into it! Fantastic blade, as always!
Kyle this folding knife is absolutely beautiful every part of it, the feather design on the blade to the gold inlays on the outside and that is amazing also. Great job Kyle
Hello again, Royer family. I watch a few knife maker channels and find that I always stay interested when watching Kyle's builds. I haven't seen a knife created by you folks that I didn't like, and one day if I'm ever a monetarily wealthy man, I'll beg you to make me a knife. I hope you all have a great Christmas and that next year brings you more happiness and success. Take care, beautiful people.
The Damascus pattern is crazy with the little flaming lightning bolts. The twist Damascus scared me at first, but turned out really well. Well done Kyle for pushing your talent once again. Go Team Royer!
Okay, I have watched dozens of playlists of knife builds from various channels and hands down, this is my new favorite blade. It is absolutely stunning - amazing work! Wow!
Kyle... I could sit around watching you "Create" in your videos all day long on my Lil Ole phone. Only wish I had the time around to get to starting a bit of creating myself. Would not be able to acquire the forging machinery to learn and continue. I will live through your kindness of producing these videos. Thank you sir! J
Your video angles, contrast and close ups truly set you well above all other RUclipsrs who make pattern-welded knife videos. Of course no one does the details as well as you. I'll bet Ilya A. is jealous.
I watch a lot of these videos. My Dad made custom knives from the late 70s to last year. Finally retired at 82 and I always compare techniques to his. BUT, when you broke out the microscope and dental drill, NEXT LEVEL! Very impressive. Your work shows knowledge and dedication. Love it. Thanks for putting out this content. Subscribed!
Those details are huge. It's amazing how much diversity in design can exist even when the variations don't seem very extreme at all. These projects are just entirely deliberate, every last micron of space is considered. I never tire of it.
OMG I hope whoever gets this knife realizes that it belongs in a display case never to be used. thank you so much for the video it is amazing to watch you work. You're attention to detail is just mind blowing. Thanks for another amazing build.
Amazing work! That pattern has some pretty groovy curves- it really does have a flame-ish look to it. Once again, your attention to detail, and insistence on perfection is admirable. That is one good looking Bowie knife!
This is baffling! How in the name of all that exists did anyone figure out how to do all this stuff? The final results are ingenius ! Pure art. I am not à bladesmith nor do I want to become one. These vidéos inspire me on a purely human level. Bravo Kyle Royer!
At first I seen a cross in the pattern, thought wow that's really cool... But then I looked closer, and seen that the cross looked more like the Batarang. That is way cool. Great knife and video augraphy. Thanks
I'm always amazed at your talent and again, I appreciate you taking us along with you on your journey. Amazing Bowie, clever design and just beautiful.
Damn beautiful! It's not gonna come affordable I think so. That work of art is invaluable. I would love to put it in a glass frame and display it in my living room so all of my visitors would astonishingly stare at it.
Hello Kyle, my name is Ronald Menezes, I write to you from here in Brazil. Your technique is impressive, I'd say better, your art is impressive. You're an artist and this knife Bowie is a work of art. Do you have an online store to purchase products from your forge?
Tip: When buffing Carnuba wax, use distilled water that is near freezing and one of those 27" x 27" flour sack cloths which ensure you don't have scratchy microfiber lint messing it up. You want the cloth to be damp, the cold temperature stiffens up the wax so that it can yield that shine. Using distilled water ensures you don't have any calcium, magnesium, or sodium that dulls the finish. Be sure to put the flour sack cloths through the washer/dryer a couple times before using.
You have to be the best of the best and you really are an artist because the word beautiful isn’t a good enough word for your knives and I would love to own one of them
STUNNING. Absolutely stunning my man. Thank you for sharing this video with us, love the close up's and the fact that you don't waffle on . But tell us the basics as your going on, thank you. Wishing you all the best COBBA, cobba means mate i Australia. ✌️👍
You could say you were very lucky to get the pattern so consistent or you could say you are a very very skilled knife maker great job by the way love the finished product it’s amazing
I know that what you do is fun and reasonably simple for you but you are a true artist and imo you are the best blade-smith of our time if not the past 1000 years. I have so much respect for you and can't wait to hold a blade you personally crafted. It's literally a life goal for me
I can just tell after watching most of Kyle's videos... It wouldn't matter if he was making a blade or a tea kettle... he would insist on making the most perfect, most beautiful tea Kettle he possibly could. As a fellow perfectionist, I have so much respect for his craftsmanship.
Amazing, Kyle - you’re a true Master of your craft, you don’t just make blades; you create pieces of art. Once my investments mature, I’m going to start buying your master-pieces. David
That knife you made fairly recently with the mosaic Damascus patterns was the most beautiful metal work I have ever seen. You are truly a world class forge and metal artist. I guess that knife costs about 100k.
this may not be a popular comment but that shouldn't stop anyone. I did hear you saying that ivory on the handle was from a mammoth but I still can't help thinking that not using it would be better. anything that helps end the desirability of ivory overall is a step in the right direction. given that your work is so stunning (it genuinely is), it can inspire others to commission similar work. you can't be responsible for what others do but you could remove the likelihood going forward.

Is this show on a platform?
I absolutely love your work. It's like stress relieving
Real videos look like CG. Incredible workmanship.
It's a real joy seeing you working & how a chunk of steel and bone becomes a tremendously beautyfull knife
Kyle this folding knife is absolutely beautiful every part of it, the feather design on the blade to the gold inlays on the outside and that is amazing also. Great job Kyle
Among the knives I have ever seen, this blade is the most beautiful. The world of beauty knives .
I could watch Kyle create masterpieces like this for hours, it's just incredible to see play out.
Singular workmanship. Incredible

This guy is one of the best smiths I've ever seen. That copper katana piece is by far my favourite of yours. good work
This is one of the most beautiful knives I’ve seen in my life. Incredible!!
Thanks Kyle for gifting me the knife for Christmas. As we talked about, no need to wrap it, I'll take it as is 😉.
Sorry, he’s giving it to me 😂
The sound design of this video is amazing
The Damascus pattern is crazy with the little flaming lightning bolts. The twist Damascus scared me at first, but turned out really well. Well done Kyle for pushing your talent once again.
Go Team Royer!
You dont make knives you create art at its finest.
Absolutely ‘Out of this world’ Craftsmanship-and my goodness what a shop!!!!
One day some of your works will end up in a museum as long as the world does not end.
The only thing i can say is. These works of art you create. Are museum quality ! That is where they belong, for everybody to enjoy !
Okay, I have watched dozens of playlists of knife builds from various channels and hands down, this is my new favorite blade. It is absolutely stunning - amazing work! Wow!
Great way to wake-up in the morning! The pattern on the fittings reminds me of wrought iron. Great job as always! 🤘🏾
This is by far the most beautiful Bowie I've ever seen. He is a master. Such a beautiful blade man WOW
i've always wanted to see someone push damascus this far and wondered why nobody does, maybe it was impossible, but dude! incredible work!!
Hey thanks michael
I reckon you're probably one of the best smiths alive today mate. A truly beautiful blade, thanks for sharing the full build buddy...👍
Wow! That multiple etch and coffee darkening looks so good. Such contrast!
You are the most talented and gifted blacksmiths I have ever seen! I WISH I had the funds to purchase a masterpiece from you!
World’s best knife maker..👏👏👏
Wow so beautiful. Can't wait till I start making sharp art like that. Learned so much from you and your knifemakers plus program .

Artistry in both knife making and videography. Thanks for sharing
You are gifted of a rare talent sir

Man, that's a big knife! Amazing as always Royer Team!
Some paint with canvas and brush. Kyle paint using fire and steel. The result is an incredible amazing piece of knife. Enjoy your video. Thank you.
Love the twisted thread look that guard had before the finishing, might try something like that myself, but leave it as forged

I love watching Raymond Reddington make knives.
Beautifull piece, like allways! Hats off master smith Royer!

You guys are just amazing, every knife you make, no matter how simple or complex is a work of art. Best of success to you over the holidays.

Mammoth ivory. Only several survived after the flood 6-8 thousand years ago.

Yeah once again a masterpiece you never fail to make beautiful pieces of art

Incredibly skilled and beautiful work.
Dude that looks beautiful.. looks like so much fun doing this as well..
Such a beautiful knife. Great work again, as always. Love that pattern. Can't wait to do some mosaic builds myself. Absolutely stunning.
