I substitute "Adonai or Hashem or God or Elohim" for the tetragrammaton. Biblegateway does not have The Scriptures but it is available here, free of course: eliyah.com/thescriptures/
In this case, she’ol is what He said. It makes sense, they used this word and would have understood what it meant. I do, and I don’t know anyone who would see it in a different light. You could also use "Gehenna," or "Gei-Hinnom." When you say “watered down,” what do you mean? This translation is quite excellent and reading it I completely understand what it is saying. I would suggest working on your communication with other believers because comments like this express nothing about anything/anyone but you. Blessings and shalom, Stephen FYI this is an audio Bible channel and not a place for comments like this. If you would like to have a conversation, we can. But anything more like this gets removed. That said, I would also recommend the Tree of Life Version (TLV) too. Excellent Bible translation. Happy impending Pesach (Passover)
