Abbi, I have arthritis so the curling was a problem in my hands. I really wanted to make wall hangings for my granddaughters so I tried the curing with hair curing irons on a low settings and it worked perfect. Just thought i would pass it along.
Thank you. :) You can find petal sizing & layout for cutting machines here. ruclips.net/video/Yr1OrB7B_gs/видео.html Flower will measure about 19 inches in diameter. Everyone's will vary a little.
Hi, thank you. The center of the rose is just a shape that you cut out from the PDF or cut on your cutting machine. The link in the description will take you to the templates. :)
Hi, :) The petals can be cut from these templates in the link by hand or using a cutting machine (my favorite is Cricut) www.etsy.com/listing/488619065/giant-paper-rose-patterns-tutorials-diy?ref=shop_home_active_5
She is not do it because she sells the petals, but you could find more channel where they teach us how to make petals, go to this channel pao pao craft in the description there is a link you could download the templete of the flower, sorry if I did not wrote good but my English is not good.
Hello! I just bought this pattern from you on Etsy. I'm so excited to try it, but I keep losing count on how many petals of each are used. Please help me. 😂.
Would you share the measurements of the Petals please? I would like to make this but I don't know how big or small to make each petal. Beautiful job as always 🌺
Yes of course. :) Let's see when I set mine up on a cutting machine I use 8.5x11 paper so the first largest petal will be 7.5 inches wide x 8.5 inches high, next size down will be 5.5 x 6.5 (be sure to turn the petals so they are a close as possible to each other. For example one petal will be upside down so they can be as close as possible) next size will be 4 x 4, and last petal will be 3.3 x3.5. The center piece will measure apox 6.3 x6.3. For me this works out that the 1st largest petal will be 1 to an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, 2nd layer will be 2 petals to a page, 3rd layer will be 4 petals to a page and 4th layer will be 6 petals to a page. I will be working on a video tutorial for this next week to give clarification for everyone. Hope this helps for now. :))
so the center is not to be 5x5 like the above numbers given? I bought this svg but don't understand why I needed every petal since I have to use the XL and resize to get the measurements to work correctly on each petal.
I am using a 3 inch circle in this video as stated at the beginning. I include the 5 inch circle so that a larger flower can be made as well. Ultimately either will work. Just choose what feels best for your own style. :)
I just bought from ur store but I don't understand how many do I need of each this is what I have ,that I was able to download to my cameo eden 2nd layer eden 3rd layer eden 4th layer eden center eden single petal eden xl petal I wasn't able to download the other eden same layers cause its acrobat I don't have that ,please help thanks
All you need are the svgs for XL eden petal, 2nd layer, 3rd layer & 4th layer plus the center. The PDFs and PNG are for those who are hand cutting. You can follow this video to help with petal layout on 8.5 x 11 paper. :) ruclips.net/video/Yr1OrB7B_gs/видео.html Hope this helps. :)
Roses can take some practice. I would encourage you to practice a couple more times while watching the video. If there is too much extra space around the bud you can add more of the smallest petal before adding in the rose center. Or you can enlarge or shrink the rose center by an 1 inch or so to help. Practice makes perfect. :)
Here is the direct link to the flower template. And I use 65lb weighted card stock, Recollections brand. :) www.etsy.com/listing/488619065/giant-paper-rose-patterns-tutorials-diy?ref=listings_manager_grid
Vanessa Renteria - I was also very curious about this, the way it stands looks awesome. I've done a search and think it is an Ad Tech like this m.ebay.com/itm/152382987580

I honestly could not tell you if that would work or not. You will need a card stock to build these roses. I use 65 lb card stock. As far as other materials to make it, I would not be sure what to tell you.
I'm using a 3.5 inch circle in the video. There is a 5 inch circle option included in the templates as well if you wish to enlarge the flower by a few inches.

when you buy the templates do they send you a hard copy or a pdf file to them out?
Hi! I got your template from the store. It came with leaf template, how do I make it realistic? Or do you just fold it in half? Thanks!
Edy B Yes, you can fold it in half. You can also crease it back and forth like a fan as well for more ridges.
Hello when you purchase these would I receive a hard copy or just a pdf file ?
Diana Mojica I have both options for this template on my direct site. Link in description.
