If I am recalling correctly, I change most of the measures in the piece, mostly in the accompaniment for a more coherent melody. I also changed the ending.

Nah. Best FF game since X. Unfinished, yeah, though the DLC fixed most of that (except some ending) but unfinished games were kind of an epidemic around that time.
