    "It"
    Is the cycle of life that can't be stopped even by death. Death isn't a person or place, true. It's a cycle like life.

    This is actually ingenious. Though, I'd imagine the representation of the Reaper to be a more calming presence if it's supposed to protect you. However, it could just be an indifferent force completing it's duty.

      If I had to guess, the Reaper in this instance is an entity beyond cosmic understanding. Power like that simply weighs down upon you in ways that not even gravity would compare. To hold the power to fight off whatever "it" is, would truly be something fearsome.

      The only job that will never go away. Because someone will need to do the job of getting people when thier time is up. Death will wait, plan, watch everything that goes everything in plan. The grim reaper always wait in the back and in the shadow. They will get what they wanted in life no matter what. People cant get way from death.

    So I imagine that the lake represents the womb the hands grabbing the guy was a doctor,as for the whole reincarnation thing maybe it has to do with a balance of some sort like say if you have done more good than bad you go to heaven if you have done more bad than good you try again and again and again until you get it right (this processes would pretty much be hell because you'll have to endure an eternity of pain and suffering until you have achieve you're goal of purification )

      Outside of this video I've had similar thoughts, although they were adapted to the whole "this is all a simulation" deal... Like some sort of super preventative measure to avoid undesirables, basically replacing any sort of justice system. Repeatedly running an individual through numerous simulated life times whilst building a profile based on your every interaction within.
      Once you're "fit" for reality, you pop out of your pod or something and in actuality very little time will have passed since initiating the judgement program. If you aren't "fit" you may even be executed at the end of the cycle, never knowing the truth.
      At the end of the day though, I tend to think we die and then there's nothing and that's all there is to it. I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised by a different, more fanciful outcome however. I'd be a liar if I admitted otherwise.

    Hmm. So if the reaper managed to fight "it" off, then what would've happened? Why does "it" want you, and why does "it" taking you result in reincarnation? What exactly is "it"? Why did the reaper take the soul to a subterranean lake? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

    • @eunjungbong5856
      @eunjungbong5856 6 лет назад +99

      RottenHippo so, I’m looking at this from a bhudist/ Hindu POV, right? So “it” is the cycle or rebirth called samsara that tries to drag your away a from nirvana( the afterlife) and into a mother lifetime off being a human. The reaper is trying to keep you from being reborn and send you to the after life. In this story, Samsara wins out the reaper and the person becomes reborn.

    • @Trollamollex
      @Trollamollex 6 лет назад +45

      RottenHippo "it" is life. If he would have been taken by the reaper then the guy might have truly died aka rest in peace.

    • @Trollamollex

      If he got taken to the lake then maybe the soul is re absorbed into the planets energy or some thing like that. Lol

    This is one of my greastest fears not death but the result of death. After waiting so long to leave the world and move on just to be born again and wait even longer. I have so many questions and want to understand so many things about things such as these but my mind simply isnt made to understand them as a Human

      The Local Assassin me too, eternity is a long time, but theres actually ways of understanding, its been accounted throughout history and lies between the lines. You just have to trust your external instincts

      Sirzechs Gr it makes perfect sense. Life is the a beast and death protects you from it. They are beings and not just energy. Kinda like god and the devil. There have always been mystical weapons for millennia. The scythe is a weapon that can deter life. Like light to a beast of the dark. It won't kill it but it'll keep it at bay

    • @itsthatguy174
      @itsthatguy174 6 лет назад +2

      Chassity Mckelvie Earth is both hell heaven and purgatory. It all depends on where you are and what you as an individual perceive as hell heaven or purgatory.

    • @vargr
      @vargr 3 года назад

      Your can swap Hell and Earth as the name of this mudball. You can only be punished and feel pain while alive. Death frees us from that punishment and pain until we return to be punished for a sin that we never committed.

    • @chassitymckelvie9786
      @chassitymckelvie9786 3 года назад

      Sin we never committed? In which you mean sin isn't real?

    • @vargr
      @vargr 3 года назад

      @@chassitymckelvie9786 did you commit any sin at birth? Because according to the bible that is the primary sin we committed. The rest that we 'commit' fall after simply being born.

      Unknown Unknown or maybe it's just you and EVERY person is a fragment of your whole and each time we try to pass like a school exam for a God. Or what is to be a God 1 day so the earth /universe as a whole would be a cage or egg

      Unknown Unknown I'm not sure. Death would ofcoarse try to keep people away from life and call life an it Cuasr it's alien to death, death is all there is to death so anything else must be a dark contrast to him.
