Just want to say thanks to Mark and Ying for making this channel. Particularly for showing that vegan food doesn't have to be bland and you don't have to be vegan to enjoy the health benefits and reduced environmental impact of fresh vegan/vegetarian food. It's something everyone should make a part of their diet.
I love Thailand. I am Burmese and was born in Burma and in 2005 I moved to Thailand and I can’t explain how much I love Thailand. Thailand is such a beautiful green country. Now I’m in USA but Thailand is always in my heart ❤️
I want a movement for more farm to table restaurants like this in the US. Here average farm to table dinner is $100+ per person. We as a country should be able to provide food for ourselves with local gardens. This video is so refreshing.
Mark, thanks for traveling through Thailand and giving me many ideas for places to visit! I agree Mangosteen is one of my most favorite fruits in Thailand and second is passion fruit. I have lived in Chiang Mai 2 years now and honestly, it will be nice to travel within the country without so many tourist. I will support the locals as much as possible to help them through this rough economic spell. 💕 I mostly eat only vegetables so I appreciate all the places you are featuring that use local produce! She is an amazing cook! P.S. no disrespect, but people, please don’t use this channel to direct to your RUclips channel...
Mark and the hat ordeal was so funny. He is adorable in that hat. Munching on veggies thru the garden like a little rabbit. I love it Thai vegan food looks so yummy. I gonna find some. Thanks Mark for the awesome video. God bless
Love the video I never seems such gigantic beans. you have opened my eyes what amazing food there is around Thailand. Plus I love the hat you're wearing

I'm convinced that Mark is the (Very Hungry Caterpillar) reincarnated from the children's book. Lol! 🐛 I look forward to your videos and I'm learning a lot! 🤗
Yes! That would be a real highland / northern food but this camp is a complete FAKE. None of these dishes are highland / northern. What's a joke and a half.
That lady Chef is well organized, keeps that place/kitchen very nice and tidy. The presentation of the food in the plastes is really nice. Great place to eat and I'm sure the food tastes very good.
Yeah u r right, the natural loofah (not the plastic one) actually come out from the lufa. When it get matured and ripen the naturally rough fibres get build up and the farmers let them dry on the plant itself and cut them in pieces as the store bought loofah thing.
What a lovely paradise jungle. I love the way the chef cooks. Beautiful cooking school. she is very clinical and no oil, frying & very healthy. I like the way you show how she prepared each dish. Just sumptuous.
This episode was especially good. That farm-the organic food, foraging, cooking demonstration, & your usual delightful eating enjoyment was special. Hey? Do you have problems with pesky bugs around those outdoor unscreened porches...and poisonous snakes in the jungle? My heart stops when I see y’all walking around in shorts & sandals-like when you foraged the ferns? Really curious.
I love the ferns anytime & I'll cook it with lots of chillies, shallots, garlic, belacan & anchovies, all pounded to be sauté before adding the vegetables! Yummy!
Those wild fern we call it chakawk in our locality, mizoram,india.... we blanch in boiling water ,drain it and added crush groundnuts, onions, garlic oil ,chilli(optional).

Hi Mark I love how they grow their own produce, it’s fantastic and guaranteed no pesticides either. Love the video
Thank you Angie!
Pesticides are just extra protein it’s all good
Steven Chen Um nope
I also live in Thailand. If you think Thai farmers do not use pesticides, you are mistaken.
@@topixfromthetropix1674 Because of imports of pesticides from America and the selfishness of the entrepreneurs
That’s what we need more of all over the world. Organic farming and gmo free!
