    The police should have been called the second time the woman showed up, to officially give her a trespass warning. The third time she showed up, she should have been arrested for criminal trespass. The security guards' not calling the police in quickly enough, is what allowed this crime to happen.

    This happened 10 minutes away from me. Right next to where my husband works. Wild bc everyone says "this kinda thing doesnt happen here" but it truly doesn't. Mt dora has too many people atm, but none of them would expect something like this. So sad. Lots of the elderly people here are very kind. I hope they're at peace together

    Mount Dora is a pretty town and Waterman's Village is a nice retirement community within that town. I'm sure that up until this awful thing happened the residents felt very safe there and maybe let their guard down. It's clear that this suspect targeted this elderly couple because they were older, trusting and easy prey. My heart goes out to their family.

    these interviewing techniques where they appease the suspect does not sit well with me.
    do you need water, do you want food, are you warm enough, you are an honest woman blah blah blah
    as soon as they finally start asking relevant questions she says 'I aint answering that'
    building trust? can't be done with people with no soul.

      Ok! What solutions do you have to implement? Besides watching and commenting on YT videos. These are tested methods that do work. Offering water and food is just human! If you want a confession, it’s easier to get it if the suspect builds a rapport with the detective. But, since you’re an expert, go ahead and apply for the job. I’m sure they need the help.
