I gotta disagree with you advising buying the 4 cylinder over the 6 cylinder based on mpg. I'm a "car guy" and having an extra 100 hp makes all the difference to me in acceleration and "having fun". Unless you plan on driving Ms. Daisy, go with the 3.6R six cylinder sll day long. Not to mention the fully loaded interior trim level that comes standard on the 3.6R. What makes Subaru such a great car manufacturer is their ability to be innovative while being practical and reliable. How about the fun paddle shifters! Such a blast! The infotainment system on this car is also superior. Check out the diagnostics and driveteain graphs! I am so glad I bought a 2015 3.6R!
We get our first road test in the all-new for 2015 #Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited to see how it stacks up to mainstream competition. ruclips.net/video/dOhe1cU582M/видео.html
So? Best awd/best safety/equal or better handling to all in class/with eyesight best tech/decent interior/best build quality (honda comes very close, but closer to Lexus engineering)/over 4k lower price equally equipped = equals bottom of class? De-tuned H6 similar to a 911 and torque vectoring awd with a true visual camera adaptive cruise/active safety system = only 1 in its class. This is why auto magazines and blogs have lost all relevance, and why people troll the Internet for research and discovery. This review was middle of the road on BS, not as pathetic as the Honda Fanboys or boy dat dar fusion has a purdy mouth reviews.
Very big difference. V6 has prisons firing in a inclined angle like a v opposing each other. Whereas a flat 6 are Pistons firing like two gloves boxing each other. This gives less vertical vibration and any leakage of mechanical forces along the vertical plane. This means during power delivery, the motor system allows more stability, lowers center of gravity, has less vibration. Making boxer cars much stabler platforms in high speed cornering. That's why people love the wrx STI due to the ability to corner at high speeds that will outclass super cars except Porsche
At 0:17 and 3:17, they refer to it as a flat 6. They compare it to "competitors' V6 engines" at 4:02, but if they ever called the Subaru engine a V6, I missed it.
