I cant even comprehend how a human being is able to write lyrics and tell tales like Be'Lakor. These guys deserve every bit of attention and even more. Been 6 years since I heard them the first time, stumbled upon them on YT. Still my nr. 1 band and I expect it to stay that way for a long time. Cant even compare it with anything else I listen to.
It's poetry pure and simple. In fact it's art. In fact it's... It's... It is simply euphoric. The melodic sounds coupled the in captivating lyrics is why these guys have been leagues above all other bands.
Recently rediscovered my love for this album. Really dig the lyric videos. It showcases the strong story telling that is prevalent throughout the album. I just can't wait until the next release, hopefully in 2021!

This composition features an intriguing structure: guitar begins with 12 beats (or how to count it), followed by 7 counts with a slightly different chord. Then back to original but 14 beats, followed by 5 beats, and ends with 3 pal muted slaps. What an interesting arrangement.
Can anyone tells me what the giants are? I used to think that they are kind of insects. But now I can see that they could have been just drops of rain. Also in the previous song of the album "Giants" were trees that obscured the sun from the small plant.

@@Roberto-1191 Now I think the child was not a leader but it led the pack of small insectivores to the hive. Then, according to the next song ("Whelm") in the album, it started to rain, and "A rushing mass of fur and claws" were fleeing. One of them got separated from the others and died, It contaminated the water and... till the end of the album. So I'm sure that Giants are small animals that feed on insects.
This is my interpretation as well. The insects are probably ants considering they are a hive that tears down trees and in which secret children are possible. The hunters are less explicit. There are a few creatures who are mammals that eat ants in packs.
The giants were behind the hatchling. I think they may have been the same type of species taking out the queen of that swarm. They were metaphorical giants, in the fact that they were more powerful.

I think Giants, in this song, refers to larger predators of the insects mentioned here.
