Very nice..! Considering the cost of lures of yesteryear and today... Making your own is quite the thing to do because you'll eventually lose them… I know I've lost hundreds of them in my lifetime... Lol 🤣…. Spoons jigs have been the tried and true in salt or fresh…👍😎👌 Kudos to you...!
I was trying to figure out what the colorful material was from the thumbnail. I saw it was HDPE from bottle caps, what a resourceful way to create a perfect die for your punch.
I wondered what the blueing and quenching in oil was good for. If you possibly want to harden the punch, it must be glowing redhot and then be quenched into oil or water. After that it must be again heated up to about 200-250°C (it turns yellow/brown then) to make it less brittel. If it turns blue its too hot (about 300°C) and has almost lost all of its hardness.
Will you please repost the video in which you created a punch from plastic? Based on the materials I have available to me and lack of skills, this looks like a great option. Thank you!
I don’t recommend a punch from plastic, I’ll soon show an easier way how you can make copies of the bait from a store or your own, a video will be released next Sunday.
Hello everyone, thank you for your likes, comments and for sharing this video with your friends, it helps a lot in its promotion.

VERY well done! The "punch" is truly a thing of beauty, and it produces spoons with an excellent wobbling motion. Keep up the great work!
One word: AMAZING! Keep it up!
RUclips should recommend your videos in the feeds!

@@CopperFishLure thanks! Looking forward to it.
That's not a punch, it's a swage. A punch would cut the spoon from the flat stock, the swage and die stamp it into shape.
How can i order me some of your spoons?
Hello, I’m sorry, I’m not sending abroad yet, it’s still restless in Ukraine
