- Those hankering for more Borderlands thankfully won't have to wait another seven years for a new game. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a spin-off to the franchise, releases on March 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox One.
It's a Dungeons and Dragons spoof but offers plenty to keep fans engaged. Let's take a look at 15 things you should know before buying it.

What I always liked about the Borderlands games is if you want to play solo, you can easily do that & if you want to play coop you can also do that. The games scale to how you want to play
and it scales shockingly well if my friend's level 12 character joins my level 72 character
The first 2 games you had to kill for loot if your dumb friend steals gun from you me why you end up finding better than what he stole lol but still ends up like a ww3 when somone needs a legendary rare drop makes you wanna kill yourself lol glad borderlands 3 has that alows competition for loot or the option to only have loot that drops for you
@@jonathanoxlade4252 yeah they should take from pc arpg’s and have individual phased loot. As a major D2 head I have had many a meltdown over loot lol.
Finally a Borderlands game with a character creator and classes that we can mix

I don't know how this doesn't have more likes. This had more accurate and concise and good looking coverage two weeks ago than any "breaking" video gameplay has been showing.
I was skeptical at first, but this looks like a lot of fun 🤔
Its not just graveborn and sporewarden who have pets, clawbringer has a dragon pet.

So the gameplay shows two action skills in the bottom right of the screen. Is one of them actually a spell while the other is the one action skill I can use. And if that’s so can you only equip one spell at a time or can u use two?

I wanna play & buy Elden Ring but there’s jus no way I’ll keep playing it once this game drops. Nothing is like a Borderlands game even though this is Wonderlands it’s still almost ALMOST a new Borderlands game I’m all in!

I’m a lil confused about the next gen enhancement if I buy the standard physical copy. Do I have to purchase the Next Level Edition in order to get the next gen upgrade or is it free?
Yep. You can buy the standard edition and it will work fine. However the Next Level Edition is the only way to get Wonderlands optimised for New Gen.
It is probably best to wait for the reviews/comparison videos to come in so you can decide if it's worth paying the extra money for the extra, frames, loading times and graphics.
One of the few games I am willing to preorder... can't wait to play.
I am torned on this one... I have close to 2k hours on B2, everyone on OP10 with OP10 gear and I still love it. B3 was flop to me.. finished it once, never returned.
I love the Assault DLC... so I am slightly hyped, more hesitant.. it looks great so far, I have to admit.
I'm going in as a Brrr-zerker with the Spellshot secondary.

I play online games with only 1 guy and his daughter and we started playing together with boarderlands 2 and then we played boarderlands 3 then all the new stuff and now its been years and Ive a great online friend ive never met in person

I'v been traumatized with getting my vault deleted last time, so I'm gonna wait couple weeks/month, and see if the bug is still in the engine.

For PC, it releases for the Epic games launcher in March and much later for Steam apparently (probably 6 months later?). I wish publishers would stop releasing things for Epic first.

Steam is a very reputable platform and Valve never screws over the developers. I congratulate you on taking a stand to not play a game on a crappy platform by a shady company.
Biggest thing for me is loot. I enjoyed BL3’s vastly improved gunplay and graphics, but loot in BL3 felt like it dropped like candy. Anoints felt like they only worsened the quantity over quality system that BL3; yes, it was good for farming, but once you had the rolls you wanted, it felt like any other legendary you had was no more valuable than a common.
I just hope the loot system is akin to that of BL2, where drops were much rarer, and there were different rarities above legendary that gave further incentive to grind.
Looting in bl3 was perfectly fine
@@Rakkinahit0 Looting in Borderlands 3 was waaaayyyy too easy, literally go into a slaughter dome and you would get hundreds of legendaries in a few minutes, kill a boss and if it dropped less than 4 it was weird
@@iakonasisler4808 but how many of those were legendary weapons that you wanted though the hunt and challenge is still there hunt for the right anointment and parts and you still got challenging hunts for weapons try farming for a Boom Sickle with great parts and good anoint and see how long it takes
But the issue at hand is that there was _no_ incentive to do so, at least not for a majority of the legendaries in the game. You would have to sift through each trash legendary just to find which legendary you wanted, _which was fine,_ but that ultimately devalued any subsequent legendary drop and made a vast majority of them obsolete.
@@jamfilledjars do you play mayhem mode and when you do takedowns are you activating True takedown cause there is major incentive to part match and anoint match if you want the best damage

Actually i beleive thw classes can be changed at a quick change station like respecing skills but you can chnage everything personality type voice looks and skills/classes
You can only change your second class not your first one

You Can also play the Chaotic Great edition on Xbox one, which is good since I have an Xbox One X

That better be a DLC campaign called the handsome sorcerer strikes back it's a continuation to tiny Tina's assault on dragon keep it's borderlands 3 but with tiny Tina's wonderlands it will help explain how tiny Tina brick and Mordecai become the b team and help the crimson raiders and they fight against children of the vault.

Full crossplay support for all consoles confirmed. On playstation You use your shift account to play with other shift users on Xbox and pc

Bl2 is my favorite game of all time, which also has my favorite dlc of all time, which of tiny Tinas assault on dragon keep. But I did not care for bl3, I mean it was ok but I played bl2 for years and years, I played bl3 for maybe 3 months total and have no interest in going back. So seems this looks so similar I'm not excited at all. Def gonna wait for it to be on sale for next to nothing before I get it

So I haven't heard of the third person map mode. I'm curious as to how that's gonna work.
Like a standard overworld that has been in hundreds of games for decades.
At first I wasn’t all too excited about the amount of areas in the game but then I realized that’s more Maine areas than base borderlands 3. And looking at the map of the one available in the demo, they seem to be a bit bigger than the ones in borderlands 3 as well, not to mention the fact that there’s dlc that will be coming out alongside it all
Can I buy the Chaotic Great Edition and play it on PS4 & PS5 or do I need to purchase 2 separate games?
You'll need the Next Level edition or chaotic version to get the ps5 upgrade. You can however play them both on ps4 if you buy the standard edition you can play on both but won't have the upgrade

Really depends on your playstyle
@@frostyanchor something closer up. Not snipery because that usually sucks in Borderlands. Something strong enough to be upclose and tanky but with a good amount of spell and gun damage that I’m not relying on melee only and can be a mid-close range player.
I was thinking Spellshot/Berzerker or Spellshot/Clawbringer

Yeah it was amazing. Totally different atmosphere but still with the same borderlands style humor. Definitely a great DLC. I’d def reccomend playing it so you have an idea of what it’s gonna be like

Actually legendary isn't the highest, as we have the gear from the chaos chamber, being even higher rarity then Legendary

Something about this looks refreshing however I will also wait for the reviews as with every game. Only game I didn't wait for reviews was lou2 and no regret was a masterpiece. Only little kids are haters of that game
Why do people hate Borderlands 3 so much. Yeah the story and some of the characters (and villains) suck, but the gameplay is the best and addicting af. The tech issues were inexcusable at launch though, and the legendary spawn rate along with Mayhem mode sucks

@@Toni-ic7ki the story, the bugs and legendary weapon power nerfs and farm nerfs. The game wasn't a 60 dollar product at first. The game is in a good place now but before bosses didn't even have exclusive gear to farm at launch.

Sadly 70 is the new normal, multiple games lately have released at 70 and game companies are trying to push it, almost guaranteed that in less than a year 70 is going to be the default price on games
@@iakonasisler4808 actually very few games release at $70. it's mostly the known greedy companies like activision and EA. and once $70 becomes the new standard, that's when I'll stop buying new games cause that's way too much, especially since too many games don't even release with mandatory features like new game plus any more.
@@buzzsawgr81 I know that currently it's rare but there are starting to be more and more doing it, I know the new Final Fantasy is going to be 70 and then there's Forspoken and now Wonderlands, none of which are EA or Activision
@@buzzsawgr81 Have you took into account that minimum wage has gone up, taxs, rent, the cost of making games for the newer hardware, and so on. This has to reflect in the prices going up
@@jordanmorter5696 so you're fine with possibly paying $100 for an unfinished game in probably 20 years? when does it become too much? I mean most games released now are either filled with microtransactions or are missing vital chunks of the game (like NG+) that aren't added for months to a year after release. personally, I'm not paying $70 for any game that's not a collector's edition that comes with extra stuff. I'll wait til it's under $60 to get it, and everyone else should do the same.

Battleborn had borderlands vibes so pretty much every game in the series has that feel.
You got the frost effect wrong btw. In the presequel, frost does 3x melee, but in this it is supereffective against undead.
iirc it's still boosting melee damage some, but yes, frost is now supereffective against the sort of dark magic/necromancy version of a health bar, like shock is for shields/wards, fire for health, poison/corrosive for armor.

No, you only get one disk. Or one game code. It just means you can play it on either Xbox One or Series X/S. You don't get a separate game for both consoles
