David you are absolutely the BEST teacher...!You are so encouraging!... I pained a rose picture when I was first learning with you...I took a picture of it .. But I thought it was terrible..So I painted over it ... couple of weeks later I looked at the picture I took of destroyed painting and realised it Did look pretty good ... so I’m learning to not be critical 🌼🌻😊

Hi David! Expanding to help beginning painters is a wonderful idea! Painting is marvelous for so many reasons. For me -- when I’m painting along with a rose lesson -- I lose track of all the cares of the day because I’m concentrating on my brush, the exquisite colors you teach us to mix - and of course - all those pretty, pretty roses! It’s a relaxed feeling to paint -- and just plain exhilarating to see a creation - no matter how simple! I subscribed to your Paint it Simply Channel a couple of years ago - and I’ll be visiting there lots more from now on. Best regards to all -- JV

The one thing I need help with at this point is where to buy the boards you paint on? I believe you said mdf boards that you already had and you cut them? Thanks Again and I can’t wait to paint one (or more) of the roses!!!!❤

What is an equivalent to the open medium you use and the heritage paints? Each time I try to go to Amazon and order it says it’s not available and doesn’t even know when it will be available?
