As an 80s baby growing up in the 90s, it was all about matte everything. Revlon colorstay foundation, no bronzer no highlight. One colour brown eyeshadow from lid to brow, eyeliner and mascara. And brown matte lips.
Yeah P.louise do a white eye base! i use it when i do my traditional goth face, i use it as a primer for my lids and i also use it as concealer for that full bright white pale look, or even if i just do like some simple makeup for day to day i use it as an eye primer or eyeliner for the waterline!
My friends and I have random 90's inspired hangs. We call it road to 97. When we catch up we dress 90's. Do our makeup and hair 90's. Burn our playlists to CD's instead of spotify. We go to 90's style dinner places like Pizza restaurants. There are a couple with the good ol pinball machines and go to Arcades to play games or go bowling or lazer tag. Anything that feels like we stepped back in time. Sometimes go to grunge clubs. So much fun. ❤❤
Graduated 1992. My makeup application was very different then, much better now. Started wearing makeup again in my early 40’s but had to learn all over again since times changed. Have learned a lot watching you and several others. Almost 50 but still wear interesting daring eye looks. Love your looks, keep being you!!!!❤

I grew up in the 90s n literally nailed it the eyebrow piercing was big n I did my makeup then with white eye pencil on my lid if I wanted color n would just put like pink or what not right in the white n mascara no foundation then but lip liner thst was what I looked like lol n the bang strings I was dying I had them too lol

Brown lips with a slight shimmer. *sighs If I were doing this trend I'd remind myself how singers in the 90s (like Aaliyah and TLC) did their makeup - natural to no foundation, no bronzer/contour, light to no lashes, and shimmery eye looks. There was good pop and dance music at that time as well that people still listen to, Jesus, destiny's child and tlc. Maria Carey? There's literally to many for me to even go on tbh

I'm surprised you did a wing , not sure we knew about eye liner wings then. I remember putting a thick line of white pencil eyeliner on my top no shadow or you know transition shade cuz there wasn't such a thing, but anyway and then on the lid where the thick white line was I would put glitter on top of it 🤣 just mascara no lashes heavy bottom line black eyeliner and foundation that was caked on 5 shades darker , no bronzer blush and , the worst part I STILL HAVE THE THIN HIGH ARCHED BROWS 😣😠😠 BCUZ THEY WON'T GROW FOR DEAR LIFE , so embarrassing!

Totally did white shadow in the 90s and 00s. I'm so pale that I just used the same shadow as hi light before hi light was so common.
