I love hearing about high end foundations, it's cool you have options to donate in the US, and also the option to return cosmetics. Here in the UK even if a product is completely unopened or unused, you cannot donate or even return it, the only option is to give it to friends/family or bin stuff. We don't have project beauty share. I find that I end up using foundations for like 2 years.... despite expiry being 6 months they seem to last longer than that

I really do have such a hard time with it! It's always nice when you actually find a formula you love in a shade that matches well because it feels more rare!

I love the Haus Lab and Nars soft matte…. I do want to try About face and L’Oréal infallible foundation…. I recently bought Este Lauder( I have combination) can’t wait to try out!
Sometimes I feel like I'd love to have a problem of too many foundations but then I think I'd never get to using them all. 😂😅

Oh yea same. I understand im drawn to foundation bc my skin is crap but at the same time my skins so scaly that putting foundation on just looks worse and ages me, but then i just have a bunch of foundations even though i dont wear makeup everyday esp bc it irritates my eyes to use mascara.

I was killing time in a Marshall's over the weekend and found that Catrice foundation! The shade isn't perfect, but I'm so excited to finally get to try it after hearing you recommend it for so long! I've been wearing it the last few days and really enjoying it!

Love your declutter videos! The About Face foundation is my new favorite - I have to make myself wear another (and I don't have THAT many base products, but it's just that good). I even bought it in another shade when the summer hit (I tan REALLY easily even with SPF 50). I have sensitive combo skin and it's just perfection 💯

I love your declutter series Andrea !! I always watch a few times and take notes of products I'd like to try. I feel Makeup by Mario foundation is not well appreciated because they never did good marketing on how to use it. I love it for bridal and events because it looks like an editorial product but it needs to be properly primed and set.

I love the Haus Labs
I LOVE so many of the same foundations, and actually, purchased a few of them based on your suggestions since we have similar skin types. I have to add that one of my obsession "foundations" is the Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer. It's a holy grail for me and makes my skin look absolutely amazing, even though I'm 46. It's pretty expensive though, unfortunately. I also really like Ulta's brand Complexion Crush Foundation!
I think this is such an interesting way to see longevity of foundation ❤❤❤ also yes please try mixing those two
what are your top fav full coverage long wearing matte foundations that can have a pink undertone? i have oily skin. estee lauder double wear is my number one and i want one or two more options from sephora or ulta (i prefer high end makeup for foundation due to shade issues with ordering online). im really picky cuz nothing beats estee lauder double wear to me but i really want to find another option haha
I have shade 110 in both the matte and Dewy versions of Maybelline fit me. They are completely different shades, so weird!
I loved the Pretty Fresh from colourpop in both the foundation and the tinted moisturizer! I used them for years. Then I discovered the Charlotte Tilbury Besutiful Skin! 😅 I also like the NYX Born to Glow, L’oréal Infallible, Makeup My Mario. Everything serves a purpose! I can’t wait to try the Fenty Eezdrops
I have two foundations and the wet and wild tinted hydrated. The cat rice one looks nice

I’m learning as I build my collection.. foundations are products I’m not buying anymore. Even when I was younger, I didn’t use a lot of foundation or I cut it with moisturizer.. creating my own skin tint lol
My skin type (and even shade) is right on point with yours. That being said; if you were to get married (again) what foundation would you go for? I’m getting married in September and am looking for THE ONE (as far as foundation goes, cause I already have “the one” otherwise lol)
Not Andrea, but I wanted to share my pick! All the Mac Waterweight foundations! They are extremely lightweight but with a buildable coverage! It stays put even with 37 degrees (celsius) and it does not emphasize dry patches. I love the Studio Radiace (I have normal skin), but they have also a matt version, which I think it's the new version of the old Face&Body. I could be wrong though! Hope this helps you in some way. I keep holding on to the Haus labs foundation hoping it will work for me,😢😢 but for some reason when I wear it my chin and nose starts drying out and skin starts sluffing off. Its everyones holly grail and i hate it.❤😢

Actually I was really surprised after trying one from About Face that had an olive undertone. I never thought to try those but the tone really did match me so well!

You have a hard time finding foundation matches like I do. And I think it’s because you also have an olive undertone. You might want to look into that.

Hey, Andrea! What is your shade in the About Face? It seems like we are pretty close in shade based on the other ones you’ve mentioned.
I wear F2 Olive! I wouldn’t normally go for an Olive shade but the undertone really matches so well!
I know unrelated but can u recommend a concealer that doesnt crease?!?! I used to never get creasing, esp with tarte shape tape but recently they all crease on me! I even bought the tower 28 concealer and it creases.. :(
You are so right that LYS foundation is too heavy, however, I just bought the LYS concealer and I love it. I gave away my Catrice foundations. They were just too heavy for my mature skin. I did love the formulas though. I love the Catrice concealers better than high end. But they separate after a few months and I have to trash them sadly. Great video Andrea. I love these kind of videos. I’ve been using L’Oréal serum foundation and it’s ok, not as glowy as the Maybelline one I just finished. Now I found out that L’Oréal isn’t cruelty free! Ya can’t win! Do you have a recommend for a light or medium (not sheer) coverage natural or matte finish foundation with a runny consistency (I prefer that since I apply foundation with my fingers)
If you like a watery consistency foundations, I bet you’d love the CoverGirl watery skin tint, the one with the little beads in it.
I HATED the matte fenty foundation. It showed everything I hate about my face. I have been waiting to buy the new one. I will soon.
I hated that foundation too! It turned sooo orange after an hour wearing it. I just couldn’t use it

I can’t stand the Haus labs foundation. I just decluttered it, always made my skin look dry and textured.
I definitely feel like it’s overhyped! I notice more of a textured look when I wear it too.
