Gordon Power Station Major Refurbishment: Lifting the 173-tonne Stator

I've been in my local hydro plant up here in Canada while they're refurbing the generators. But I've never gotten to see the big lift. Super cool to see it up in the air.

I work in much smaller hydro plants. However I noticed, like our plants, very little room to dismantle a unit. Never understood that.
