I love this message. I feel like a lot of people misread the message saying dream small means to not dream big but really it just means don't discount the small things in life. Dream big but don't forget the little things that help you achieve your dreams.

I have always heard "dream big", so upon hearing this, I can't help but think about my dreams. Is it big or small?
I hope, at the end of this lifetime, whether I had my dreams come true, I will fulfill my purpose in life through Christ.

Boy, did he prove that to me. I searched for a career... a job. Something.. everything I tried to do, failed. Then I got this feeling in my heart, like the voice of God. To work at home. After wrestling with the idea for awhile, I finally tried what he showed me, and it's not only my greatest hobby is my at home job and my cup runneth over. I'm truly blessed!!!!

I love this song because it speaks of the beauty of the upside-down Kingdom of God. The first shall be last, and the last shall be first. The greatest among you are the least of these. The faith of a child that puts the worldly-wise to shame. Associate with the lowly and give the poor man a place of honor. This is true beauty and art. This is where true greatness lies. Out of the small moments of great love the Lord causes a mighty tree to sprout forth upon which the birds can make their nests. The greatness of meekness and humilty is the language that God speaks. This song became an instant favorite the moment I heard it on the radio. I'm a missionary teacher in a tiny school and often wrestle with depreciating thoughts and comments how what I do "Doesn't make a big difference", but that couldn't be more false. God can do AMAZING things with the small actions which often add together into something greater. Yes, we need the big name events, concerts, relief aid, and more; but we are shoving God in a box if we believe spending 30 minutes to allow a hurting student time to pour out their sorrow or challenging others to critically evaluate what the media tells them is worthless. This song is a massive encouragement to me, especially on the days I struggle most. God has really worked through your music to bless so many, and for that I am immensely grateful. Thank you!

Really let those lyrics set in. God was in this and He ordained Josh Wilson's to write those words! I were to rank these lyrics, I would put it up with the lyrics of Bart Millard and Scott Krippayne. And even up with the words Rich Mullins. My daughter is low functioning autistic and whenever she gets real upset we play this song and it works every time! I am grateful to Josh Wilson for this masterpiece. God was in its writings!

I am dreaming small by making videos on RUclips to help people with glaucoma ( is what I have) that are having a hard time coping with this condition. I want my videos to give hope to people who are battling glaucoma and let them know God is always with them!(;.
I heard the song but i still have to with dream big because anything we do for God is big in his kingdom just by helping someone out is big in God's eyes. We dont have to be famous to work witj God. We are big because we serve a big God!!

I have to say this, as someone who dances in a wheelchair. The line in this song "dancing on a Friday with your friend that's special needs" makes me WINCE. First, I prefer to just say disabled ... it's not a dirty word. Second, I don't want people to dance with me just because I'm disabled, but because they genuinely enjoy dancing with me. The wheelchair doesn't make me "special", it's just how I get around. Though granted, it does give me some moves that ableds don't have .... like wheelies. :)

guys, that line is talking about one of the singer's friends who has special needs. they were likely dancing out of joy 😭😭 who knows? maybe even the friend requested that they danced. it doesn't have to be weird, maybe a song they liked came on and they just wanted to have a good time.
“It’s a daddy spending family time the world says he cannot afford” this makes me think of my deceased father. He passed when I was an infant so I was unable to remember him, the world told him he couldn’t afford to be a father but he spent his last day as one.
I am not a winner in the world's standards. I am single, no children, live with my Dad and sister, my sister is also, going to be moving out and getting married, it's a hard transition for me. This song had me in tears. I especially like the part where it says, "Don't believe the lie,, you have to do it all." There is the American dream to have like a husband or wife, kids, grand kids, 2 cars, a house, stuff s that. But this song says it all, let God use you where you are in little ways and those ways can add up to big ways.
