I'm Susie and I was born in Hungary. Although I used to live in the Philippines for 4 years I spent an unexpectedly long time back in my home country due to the Pandemic.
2022 has brought the change I've been waiting for and now I'm back in the Philippines to further explore the local life and the country's beautiful destinations, food, and culture.
Thank you for joining me on my adventures!
You lucky Susue got married to a simple and humble husband who grow in the province. Greeting from Brazil, deus abencoe voce e Jonathan.
The husband is also very lucky because his wife is smart and responsible more responsible than other pilipino wives @enricoguess6457
@enricogue6457 the husband is also lucky because his wife is full of knowledge and good ideas and responsible too
Enjoy your life in the land of promise. God has his purpose on both of you. From East Timor 🇹🇱, wishing you a healthy, abundance, a happy life...
Ola Susie you are now a farm owner in the Philippines . Improve for additional earning thats nice farm along the road easy access to the markets. God is glory to both of you.
Guys, you need to plant more fruit bearing plants like guyabano, mangoes, more kalamansi, dragon fruits. Passion fruits, Kasoy, maybe lanzones, jackfruit, and coconuts and etc. Good luck and God bless to both of you always.
Wow, amazing! Congrats to your new land! We are happy for both of you. More blessings to come. Lovely Greetings Susanne and Ariel
Thank you so much 🤗🤗
your husband must be so proud, you're so very pretty, Susie
Not only pretty..but super napaka hinhin..and humble & down to earth… 😊
He will be an abdolute hero in his provence for being able to bag himself a white girl.
Tama ka kabayan
I observed that the foreigner wife is more smart in life than that husband ( I hope I am wrong )
You should cut the leaves of lemon grass to grow better. It will help the roots recover fast & it will sprout leaves faster.
It actually broke on the way home so we ended up cutting it. Glad to hear that it's actually the right thing to do!
"Ternatea" is actually native to the Philippines and other parts of tropical Asia. Hence why it grows wild.
It's crazy how it's so expensive abroad! Feeling extra lucky that it can be found so easily here!!
Loved this vlog. Congratulations on purchasing your own land. 👍🏼❤️
Thank you so much!!
Bilib ako sa yo Susie sa pagiging simple , “I admire your simplicity Susie”
and jonathan too they are perfect couple
Wow! This is so good and informational! Really most of the time, foreigners know more things than natives in their own places! Looking forward to more vlogs like this! Take care guys!
I'm happy I could share something new 🤗
Your excitement on that property you guys have are quite contagious 😃👍
I'm happy to hear haha
Thank you for watching the vlog 🤗
Hey there, waiting for your family grow in the future.
A castle with high walls is a strong fortress.
Home sweet home!
And rain is a good blessing for your new plants!
Thank you for watching! Yes for sure our plants are loving the weather 🤗
The beauty of the nature in this video captivates my attention and interest. That's really awesome.😀👍👍
Enjoyed watching , lovely couple . Genuinely happy living in a provincial Philippine setting.
Thank you for watching! I really enjoy the peaceful life here close to nature 🤗
One of the advantages living in the Philippines is you can grow anything you want because of the weather, here in TN we have 4 seasons, there’s only 4 months of hot weather.
Hi guys! I have a panungkit in my farm which we use primarily in pulling down coconuts and my nieces just call it Fruit Picker or maybe, I should call it "coconut picker" or since you use it for pulling down bananas, it would be appropriate to call it banana picker, just don't go bananas!!! 🌴🌱😂😂😂
As for clitoria ternatea, also known as butterfly pea...this plant has various benefits that can be derived from the flower. It has natural antioxidants, helps improve blood circulation, helps prevent hair loss and graying. It also cleanses blood, improves night vision, revitalizes skin and hair! It can also be used as food coloring and as for me, I always use or drink it as tea...boiling the flower!
Fruit picker would be a good word to translate it!! Sounds better than long stick haha
The flower is really so cool! Not just pretty but so healthy also. I will be definitely making a daily habit of drinking it 🥰
When you left behind never, never ,never take the mark of the beast!
Susie, DAYAP is a variety of LIME. That is very sour - you cannot eat as that. But can do as LEMONADE with sugar , can do as dipping sauce mix with soysauce & for vinagriatte salad.
And, must for DAYAP before cutting , is to beat it until it become soft, and become more juicy when squeeze
Thank you for the tips! I made really good lemonade from it, I'm gonna try the dipping sauce also 🤗
I am amazed that you are already using Filipino expressions like "Aba!"
By the way, take care all of you there and good luck on all your ventures. Stay safe because there is a typhoon now. I hope you are living in a part of Nueva Ecija that doesn't flood. There are places there that really get flooded.
Luckily no flood in the area for now! But it's so stormy every afternoon. I can't wait for the end of rainy season!
@@SusieinthePhilippines Stay safe! It's around this time when the supertyphoons arrive
It’s a part of life in the Philippines,, typhoon, earthquake, erupting volcanoes and so on ,, if you can’t avoid the thyphoon dance with it,,
I am glad you are enjpyong life in the Philippines. Stay well my sweet Susie with husband Jonathan.
*that blue flower is called blue ternate*
Sungkit is a long pole with a pocket at the end to cut and pick the fruits high up the tree
Remind of Gapan Nueve Ecija when I was there visiting relatives,it was 45 yrs.ago.I miss that kind of scenery. I live now near San Francisco Ca. I'm still longing the smell of soils, plants , everything's remind me of my younger years there..
I would definitely miss nature too! Even if I live in the city at least a small garden is a must 🤗
you will die there alone in a nursing home.
There's a lot of Good people there don't get me wrong, but take an extra measure for security (protection). Good Luck in your adventure. Be safe!
Good for you Susie, u're learning little tagalog now... good jobs... enjoy ur life in our country, with ur supportive husband...👍👍👍.
Susie is so beautiful and very kind
Thank you for the kind words and for watching the vlog 😊
@@SusieinthePhilippines I promise to you no skip ads in your vlog I support you and you are my idol because you are so humble and very down to earth
Explore more about the philippine land, it will reveal many secret of nature, Happy Living in the philippines
Big citrus with wrinkly skin is called kaffir lime. I read somewhere that the leaves are more useful than the fruits which have very little juice.
Oh next time I'll definitely take some of the leaves also!!
Kefir lime leaves is one of the ingredients of tom yum, a Thai soup dish.
I'm happy to see you enjoying how's life in the Philippines.
Thats the reason we need people like in Philippines...Butterfly tea i see it on china..and london..yes it was expensive.. didn't know it was that plant i see before in Philippines...
Same with me! I've been trying to get some while I was in Hungary, who knew it's so common and cheap in the Philippines!
I'm so happy for both of you.
Thank you so much 🤗
Beautiful, love it, simple life
I am amazed that you know how to blend that blue flowers and mixed it in hot boiling water then add lemon so that you can produced healthy drink juice! Many of us in the philippines actually don't give importance on that simple plants ang fruits especially lemons such calamansi ang dayap because it was very abundant anywhere in any parts and islands of our country! It was very cheap or low cost but healthy in our diets. We will try that and we will start to reduced or moderated our consumption of different sodas or softdrinds.🥰😍🤩😘🥰😍😍😍
Yes!! There are so many healthy drinks that can be made to replace some of the sodas we consume. Iced tea is one of the best options 😍
Enjoy the joy of SIMPLE living in the Philippines, in this world, we don't NEED too much money, the important thing is we are at PEACE with ourselves and surrounded by our family, Good Luck with your NEW life in the Philippines, Susie, I hope your parents also CAN move to the Philippines for their retirement, GOD bless...
Awesome, it's going to be fun watching you guys develop the property. Is that the orphan baby goat I hear in the background? How is it doing?
Yes, it was her! She's doing great, she grew a lot and a sweet, healthy cuddly goat now. I'll show her in one of our next Vlogs 🤗
Dayap is another variety of citrus. My mother peel the skin and use it in making Leche flan that gives you a special flavor and smell
I've never heared of adding citrus to Leche flan!! Now I really want to try it 😵
@@SusieinthePhilippines don't put a lot and please let me know if that will suit your taste
My mother’s leche flan recipe incl. lemon zest. Thank you! gorgeous tea! 💜the color change. Beautiful b4 & after. I enjoy your straightforward production style. A few foraging, herbal tea harvesting & brewing vlogs I’ve viewed seemed very stagey & overproduced IMO. I find your presentation very charming & authentic. & educational, too.👏🏽
Wow, you're smart young couple , having bought a piece of land to own. Healthy environment, happy healthy living raising family
That's very healthy plant. So many health benefits.👍
Wow your farm land is huge.. you could plant mangoes.. takes time but will be good for harvest eventually
There are actually a lot of mango trees on that land, can't wait for mango season 🤗

I never knew that tea plant exists in our neighborhood. Thnx for vlogging it.
Have a nice day idol enjoy ur life here in the phillipines may God bless us always
You could start an export business of butterfly pea to other countries Susie.

Yes there are lots of it there in Phils.and it's herb.

Yes they are actually planning to visit soon 🤗

Congratulations Suzie
I'm living here in the US. Butterfly pea and Hibiscus (gumamela) are so expensive. In the Philippines, it just grows everywhere
Yes so expensive in Hungary too I've always wanted to try!!
In the Philippines there is a saying when you are craving for sour fruit it means "nag lilihi".
That's the word for me haha
@@SusieinthePhilippines Really? Congratulations!!
Lovely couple.Godbless you booth.
When will I see cute little angels the product of your love?😀😄😊😉😉😉
Dayap is also called key lime. the other lime is kaffir lime, more sour and the leaves are used in Asian dishes. Dayap is added to leche flan and other kakanin
