Mr. Chirag Patel, Consultant Adult and Paediatric Neurosurgeon, gave a presentation on Neurosurgical Management of Chronic Neuropathic Pain during one of the Neuro Social session.
Mr. Patel works at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. He's always had a keen interest in management of chronic neuropathic pain and is currently the clinical lead for Neuromodulation services (Pain, Spasticity and Epilepsy) in the department.
He is also a clinical and educational supervisor for medical students at Cardiff University and neurosurgical trainees.
