I am a dad aswell and you guys have no idea how much I appreciate a "friend" to talk to while I am doing the cleaning and watching my son. I don't have any real friends....not in person anyway...but when I see that there is another Tri-force avaliable I lose my shit! loving the weekly uploads. just good to hear how you guys are doing. until next time....thanks guys... take care....love you
Pyrion, the thing about driving across America is that you don't pick the shortest route, you pick the most scenic route. And that, from what you said, would be: Route 1 -> I95 -> I16 (to Atlanda GA) -> I75 (to Nashville) ->I40 (cross America highway: Memphis, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Alberquerque, Flagstuff Grand Canyon,) -> Route 93 (to Las Vegas) -> I15 (to LA) -> I5 (All the way North: San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle) I've done it before, it'll take 7 days if not to rush yourself. Get yourself a minivan and I can guarantee you, you won't regret the trip.
I saw someone on youtube, I think FPS Russia who drove a tank to burger king and got his food. In america it is legal to drive tanks on public roads as long as the barrel is cemented and the mental tracks ares replaced with rubber.
One of you guys should play Exanima. It's a neat RPG with full realistic physics. So the swordfights are pretty intense because shit gets knocked over, you get knocked over, swords flyin' everywhere. it's great.
but it takes a ridiculous amount of practice to not be insanely frustrating, and then it's just extremely frustrating. that said, it's one of my favourite games.
it is very fun, but I didn't like it at first, the only reason I persevered was because I knew that my problem was just that I was bad at it and practicing would fix it.
America vs Britain on police weapons and firearms in general: Europe was settled over centuries as families grew into communities and cities with individual rulers enforcing laws through armies and long before firearms were around. On the other hand, America was settled fairly rapidly during the era of firearms such that small groups of armed men were expected to enforce the law or defend their families (from animals and thieves) over great distances...nearly greater than the whole of the U.K. at times. Thus, police and individuals got accustomed to needing firearms for self-protection and law enforcement (citizens armed themselves to fill in the gaps where official police were few). That is the source of the difference in attitude towards firearms.
I think the thing with guns is actually mainly a symbol of authority over the government. George Washington's army was composed primarily of random ass citizens with rifles that were rebelling against the government. The main idea behind the American Revolution was that governments only derive their authority from the consent of the people and the people, in extreme circumstances, have a right and an obligation to remove the government with lethal force. So every citizen being allowed to own a gun is like a "fuck you we can kill you at any moment" to our government. Which is why people get so assed up when the government tries to implement more gun control.
NEXT EPISODE! NEXT EPISODE! I am so sorry for being a demanding little pain in the behind but guys, please. I haven't enjoyed a podcast as much as this since... well... the YoGPoD, maybe. I can't tell ya how much I love it!
We've driven from North Carolina to California, from California to Texas, and from Texas to Florida before (all separate trips). Hearing Pyrion talk about Seattle to Florida almost makes me die lmao!😂😂😂
Just last spring I went to Niagara Falls before I moved here to Colorado. We wanted to stay on the Canadian side because we'd heard it's a lot nicer. (It was.) So we drove up to the border and they're asking us what we're coming into Canada for and all that, and then they asked us "So do you have any firearms on you?" "No, ma'am." "No handguns?" "No." "No rifles or anything?" "...No." "Knives?" "No." She gave us a funny look and was just like "There are no weapons in this vehicle?" "No ma'am, not one." She seemed so shocked that were weren't packin' massive heat. xD Do that many Americans really just have guns in their cars?
in FO4, there's a minutemen ending in which both the brotherhood and railroad survive if played right. But in this ending, the brotherhood thinks the railroad is dead and vice versa, because bethesda
This highlights exactly why people need to study more about American laws and crime statistics. True, America has more gun related crimes, but a majority of those crimes would still be perpetrated if you take away the guns. A criminal won't stop being a criminal because you tell him he can't use his gun; he's a criminal already, he'll just use the gun regardless. If someone is going to steal jewelry and you tell them "don't steal jewelry", do you really expect them to not steal jewelry? The facts are that in areas with high percentages of legally registered firearms the crime rate is drastically lower than it is in areas with a low percentage of legally registered firearms, or places with a ban entirely. And most people just say "well, that's what the police are for". It takes less than a minute for a criminal to break into someone's house or shoot someone on the street, and the average police response time is 9-10 minutes. Besides that, police are not legally required to actually do anything; there is no law saying they must answer every single call. Asking every single person in the country to disarm themselves and rely on an unreliable system is completely asinine.
I think in an apocalypse situation, a good idea would be to breed rats and roaches for meat. Good to trade and food and easy to feed both will eat almost anything.
"Nerds don't go outside" All the nerds I know are outside playing Pokemon go this summer lol they're roaming in packs of 3-10 just humming the theme song to themselves
Yep, so i've had all of these as my background noise. This is what they look like.. THIS is how those three now look when i think about them, they are all Canadian triangles!
You know what scares me is when I WATCH the triforce for like an hour, (cause I had nothing better to do), and i look away at a wall and end up seeing the triforce imprinted on my eyes and being scared shitless for a brief second.
I don't know what it is about the animation but the way they hold your attention makes you feel like your watching a real person. You just can't look away.
I tweeted the video they talked about at 20:45 @ Pyrion a little while ago. Now I'm wondering whether he knew about it beforehand or if he actually saw my tweet xD
in a nuclear scenario I would drive down (or up technically) to the Cheyanne complex, an old airforce base built In the 60s designed to withstand a nuclear blast.
A nuclear blast in the 60's ya, but bomb technology has progressed a lot further. An airbase would most certainly bombed, old or new. If it has a bunker, nuclear bunker-busters are commonplace.
Elvesflame are you sure? the complex was updated in 2003, and even before that it had two 25 ton doors, and is entirely based underground. And, is designed to withstand a 30 megaton nuclear blast from up to 1.2 mi. away.
I saw a documentary about it a while back it is a very well stocked bunker they wouldn't allow camera crews in some area's due to it being the a NORAD installation. As far as civilian access they probably do allow them in but when nukes start flying access to military bases starts getting very restricted.
Is it the Marines that in that one movie gets told, that they are not allowed to shot in this area because chance of explosion, so they take all the bullets away from them so they wont shot, instead of just saying "Don't shot in here or you die!" ? Because that was stupid
I fell asleep listening to the triforce podcast, and the story about police putting guns on a table made me have a dream where I was defending a town from zombies and I stabbed zombie immortal Hillary Clinton (who was armed with a knife) about 100 times with a screwdriver (after shooting her and 5 other weird zombies with some crazy pink super shotgun)
That must be a Florida thing...I am 31 and I have never seen/heard of any officers doing anything like that. It seems incredibly dangerous and officers don't ever carry that many firearms on their person.
It sounds like they were doing inventory, or maybe they had seized some weapons and were cataloging them. Strange thing to do in a diner but who knows.

Pyrion was gonna drive across America, in ten days, alone, and he wanted to see the sights? He's crazy. That drive is horrible, the worst, even with more than one person.
the middle of america is the best part! its not all flat, there are plenty of cities and small towns and sites that are 10x better than places like NYC or LA.
How does the discussion always seem to come back round to Hitler?
For he was one of the most influential people in the 20th century.
Godwin's Law states that as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.
+W.A.R For he's a jolly good fellow*
because Pyrion is jewish? idk. is it just to get a reaction?
Thats such a stupid thing to say, as a conversation goes on the probability of a comparison to anything approaches 1.
It's great how regular these are now, keep up the good work :)

"Nerds dont go outside"
*uploads the same week that pokemon go is released*
Of course pyrion will be against it totally, because he's filled with 3dge.
+rdizzy1 pyrion will be against it, lewis will be for it and sips will sorta be in the middle but more on pyrions side.
+Yami Test I sorta thought lewis would think it's stupid, pyrion would think it's good and sips in the middle :P
Nah. Pryion is famously the old man. Sips is also a dad so is similarly jaded and Lewis is the millenial who likes anime etc.
Lewis is the most jaded person in existence.
I made my dinner and I thought I will listen to the podcast while I eat and sips starts talking about liquid shit and dipers instantly...:D
hahah right so glad i wasnt eating during this
You lose Sipsroulette. Try again next week!
Chris Weeks That should be a new show they make.
Here has to be a quadforce special where there is an upside down Simon triangle in the center with a tiny chin and face with a huge forehead
No it's perfect as it is
+Louis Fleury Not like as the rest of the podcasts until they swap formats again, like 1 episode.
Yes this is a thing that has to happen
yes yes soo much yess
Well, it happened with Duncan.
Yay I love the trifizzle podcizzle
They can't let go of the 80's
no
Read this as he said it
+Nathaniel Stringer same
Literally watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles properly for the first time last week. Good stuff, gonna go watch the rest too
it's gotta be said that I would watch every minute of a Triforce! Hero Quest campaign. Loved that shit as a kid.
American here.
Metro Detroit, Michigan, born and raised.
We got guns like its Borderlands over here.
He's an A.I Wizard there has to be a twist,
He's an A.I Wizard he's got such a subtle C#.
How do you think he does it? I don't know
How does he code the A.I?
Their description of how our military solves problems is nearly 100% accurate. "We'll just have the bigger guns."
I saw someone on youtube, I think FPS Russia who drove a tank to burger king and got his food. In america it is legal to drive tanks on public roads as long as the barrel is cemented and the mental tracks ares replaced with rubber.
i think its legal here (UK) if its unarmed
When this started I didn't really know who Pflax was, now he's my fave BY FAR. Love PFLAX!
Denver??? The Rocky Mountains are the best place to be!
+Sarmis Mačiņš ohhh theres plenty. just not as much as the eastern midwest
+Sarmis Mačiņš well, maybe not near Denver, but there are plenty in eastern Colorado
You obviously win lol, buy here in the US I agree to the fact that the Colorado Rockies is the place to be.
Fveldoh game's not even that hard, that's the best part
its not necessarily hard, just very different and weird and hard to get used to
Fveldoh
yeah but it's fun
that's why it's fun
it's a fun game
it is very fun, but I didn't like it at first, the only reason I persevered was because I knew that my problem was just that I was bad at it and practicing would fix it.

Exactly
OMG! I've read Zena and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance! I loved it ;)
Love how Pyrion and Sips start chatting about things they have in common and Lewis is just qui3t ha
Lewis, the UK produces an enormous amount of food, a lot of what we import is British food that gets exported to be processed in Europe.

We've driven from North Carolina to California, from California to Texas, and from Texas to Florida before (all separate trips). Hearing Pyrion talk about Seattle to Florida almost makes me die lmao!😂😂😂
please get trott and smith in thee civ game
I need that Smith rage and that Trott nerd voice correcting everything historical!😂
Hoping this happens! The Blood Island Civ series with them was amazing and hilarious
He didn't mention prion in the bad civ group lol
Holy shit this was the funniest episode so far! Sips laughter is so contagious!
5:00 - That ambulance though.

Rickopotamus yes
"Imagine things get crazy this year." We don't have to imagine, Pyrion.
Oh no... we didn't even get an archive podcast this time.
Airplane, oh god that movie is awesome! And that's old!
Well thanks for discing Denver, plus there the Rockies in the middle bit of America. 14,000 feet here in Colorado. That a bit more then nothing...
Space Jam is the ultimate sports movie. That's it. NBA + cartoons = childhood
I love how lewis loses his mind about how "old" those movies are.
Wolfenstein: The New Order was actually released in Germany, just censored in a lot of areas.
Rip triforce, you were great while you lasted );
That post-apo jugger talk needs to be animated.
This episodes gives Juggernaught a new meaning.
oh shit waddup
could it be ?
You called?
Dat boi, our lord and saviour
+Dat Boi here come dat bou
+Rize boi*
Holy shit. When Pyrion said that Jacksonville is a shit hole, I laughed so hard. As a person born and raised in jax, he is absolutely correct.
I love the jugger reference to the previous podcasts.
Has anyone else noticed sips's hair looks like a heart at the top
They joke about police tanks but the police actually do use apcs.
Sadly, militarized police with hand-me-down equipment for the military is not an uncommon sight
Haha yeah theirs one parked behind our local police station.
It always makes me laugh really hard hearing the Jugging part.
You all have a spot on my floor if you want on. Atlanta, GA.
as someone who lives smack in the middle of the U.S. in Oklahoma, I can confirm the middle sucks and it's boring
bombshellblonde544 Don't feel bad, I'm from arkansas and it also sucks lol
On my birthday, man you guys make me happy ;)

Sips just summed up my life talking about living in a band van lol
I think in an apocalypse situation, a good idea would be to breed rats and roaches for meat. Good to trade and food and easy to feed both will eat almost anything.
Lewis is ageist against older movies.
"Nerds don't go outside" All the nerds I know are outside playing Pokemon go this summer lol they're roaming in packs of 3-10 just humming the theme song to themselves
YogPods with WW2 are the best.
i agree as a resident of Jacksonville this place is a whole
Yep, so i've had all of these as my background noise. This is what they look like.. THIS is how those three now look when i think about them, they are all Canadian triangles!
So i paused this a while ago and I just came back and hear "hard and blew"
You know what scares me is when I WATCH the triforce for like an hour, (cause I had nothing better to do), and i look away at a wall and end up seeing the triforce imprinted on my eyes and being scared shitless for a brief second.
You watch it... a podcast? Really? xD
+Dandelion Yea, I do too. I like how the triangles of them talk.
I don't know what it is about the animation but the way they hold your attention makes you feel like your watching a real person. You just can't look away.
omfg ive been waiting for seventeen for WEEKS
List those movies they were talking about so I can become more versed in the world of good comedy movies.
The part about the diaper should so be an animation
Sips and hat films need to be in a Civ game again
I tweeted the video they talked about at 20:45 @ Pyrion a little while ago. Now I'm wondering whether he knew about it beforehand or if he actually saw my tweet xD
Are we finally back on the Thursday schedule? Holy crap I haven't seen that since a long, long time ago.
"Nerds never go outside" Must have recorded before pokemon go
legendary tank talk starts at about 25:00 its so fucking dumb, yet absolutely hilarious.
Regular viewer from the states, and the rant about the cops and their big guns made me laugh so hard
Does someone animate this whole thing? Holy shit!
I've been subbed since israphel and never came to yogpod till now, full of regret.
If there was a nuclear war, i'd want to be in the epicenter of one of the bombs. Instantly painlessly vaporized in a couple nanoseconds.
thats hot
@@kuwi8679 Indeed
Yes so happy just finished the last one
I was with Sips up until Sandler
Is sips less grey or is it the backround?
in a nuclear scenario I would drive down (or up technically) to the Cheyanne complex, an old airforce base built In the 60s designed to withstand a nuclear blast.

Good luck getting in. It is still an active military installation.
James Beem Yeah that's the hard part. I swear I read somewhere that they would let citizens in... I don't think it was real.
I saw a documentary about it a while back it is a very well stocked bunker they wouldn't allow camera crews in some area's due to it being the a NORAD installation. As far as civilian access they probably do allow them in but when nukes start flying access to military bases starts getting very restricted.
there wont be one of these for a little while as p flax is away as they discussed in this ep
holy shit i'm slow, just noticed the relevance of sips the canadian and his disjoined head (nice little south park reference there)
all of their heads are disjointed, though sips face does look a bit like the Canadian s in south park
Everyone had that
Is it the Marines that in that one movie gets told, that they are not allowed to shot in this area because chance of explosion, so they take all the bullets away from them so they wont shot, instead of just saying "Don't shot in here or you die!" ? Because that was stupid

As an American, the gun table anecdote was very strange, I don't think most cops in the US carry that many guns
Place ur bets now . how long will it be for the next one to come out - 1 Week? 2 Months? A Year?! ... My guess is never ~-~
Oi!
Pyrion is away for ti6
+Corry they should get someone else in for the time being
But he's the best thing about it?
Hey, at least it doesn't have Yogpod's release "schedule" :)
I live in the South and I have never seen anyone have a gun table usually people keep them in their trucks
Well, there is that Fallout vault-building-game-managment-thing for mobile devices.
Mad Max Fury Road is amazing. My favorite movie.
That must be a Florida thing...I am 31 and I have never seen/heard of any officers doing anything like that. It seems incredibly dangerous and officers don't ever carry that many firearms on their person.
I would imagine it is more common in the southern states like AZ,TX, and Florida.
It sounds like they were doing inventory, or maybe they had seized some weapons and were cataloging them. Strange thing to do in a diner but who knows.
When's the next episode out. Anybody know?
i have a game from sierra. it called Arcanum and I found it five years ago in my nans storage caravan.
Arcanium was great and is still available on GOG
what's GOG. also when I play Arcanum, I get like 12 fps. any ideas why? (no, my computers not shit, it meets all the minimum requirements by a long shot.)
rip triforce
What colour will the background be next
grey. sips blends in
hot pink, it's repeating
I've lived in the US my whole and I've never seen a civilian walking down the street with a gun.
Please bring archive podcasts it's such a long wait
I wish there was some way to get just the audio for these like an actual podcast, so that I can listen in the car.
convert2mp3.net/en/ Just enter the link of the video and you can download mp3
Just go on itunes and download the podcast
It's on iTunes & Podbay
What's happened to triforce? Anyone know?
Pryion is casting the big DOTA thing.
+Flimpeen Flarmpoon ohhhhh I see, do you happen to know when it's finished?
Pyrion was gonna drive across America, in ten days, alone, and he wanted to see the sights? He's crazy. That drive is horrible, the worst, even with more than one person.
Kingpin is a Great Fuckin Movie.
From Fargo, can report there is nothing here.
the middle of america is the best part! its not all flat, there are plenty of cities and small towns and sites that are 10x better than places like NYC or LA.
has anyone else noticed how it says "lewis' channel" instead of the main channel or lewis' and simon's channel in the description ?
Because Simon isn't in this podcast
Where has Pyrion travelled to in the US? I live in the US and have never seen a gun in my life.
Marcos Adrian you in liberal California
Ian Berkram nothing bad about that
Eric there is actually. The bad thing is limited guns. Come over to the Midwest and you can shoot all day if you want.
RIP Triforce?
are they done with triforce? has been about a month since they released one. i really liked this podcast too..
