We gotta give it up to Envy. If he don't know nothing else, he know how to get to the bag!

I have followed Suze Orman interviews for years. She speaks a lot of common sense. I believe this: 1. Own at least one house 🏠 and car outright. Invest in other properties but own one without equity loan or mortgage.2. Save two years worth of salary just in case you walk into work and you are fired. It takes black folks longer to get jobs than others but you have to still live and don’t want to be homeless 3. Fund your retirement with a side hustle. Never place all your eggs in one multiple steam of income . Don’t depend on ANYONE to take care of you...

When Envy said the first rule of money was to not pay taxes, they laughed. However, he was 100% right.

Listen here, the best advice is to AVOID DEBT, stick to a budget and LIVE DEBT-FREE. Also, always look to make multiple sources of income. NEVER only rely a JOB. Companies are NOT LOYAL.

Envy talks about money like he's talking to over rich people. He still doesn't get that normal people wanna be comfortable. Which means getting out of debt, so normal people wanna pay off their homes.

She right! I just made my last debt payment to student loans today. I am finally debt free and it took me 2 years to pay off $60K in student loans and a car loan. I have been living like no one else so that I can live and give like no one else. Your income is your wealth building tool. Why not pay off your mortgage Envy, you can buy more houses if you didn't have debt. Doesn't he know that your lowering your net worth by having that house or property not paid off. Net work in what you owe minus what you own!

I'm planning to retire at 55 from full-time work. I will work part-time for the rest of my life because I could never fully retire. I won't have a large monthly income at 55 but I am going to enjoy semi-retirement while I am young. I will also collect social security as soon as I can because tomorrow is not promised to you. Nevertheless, I will have plenty of money to cover my bills and to save a little extra. That's what's important to me.
