- Imagine being born into a wheelchair with unloving parents and suddenly you get banned from your happy place for no good reason, after being told you didn't contribute enough to the shard or community. When it's also the owner and they're acting unprofessionally, where do you turn?
Unfortunately not to r/ultimaonline. Not anymore, ever since the owners account was apparently deleted years ago and the new mod team took over. According to their rules for the community now, it is illegal to discuss whether shard administrators are potentially conspiring against their players, often with deceptive messaging, in order to take things away from them that they are typically entitled to in order to make more money by selling it at a premium:
"No conspiracy's about developers, shard operators"

These videos are typically removed immediately, along with any players who share them, from various Ultima Online communities. Unfortunately they blame the messenger for the problem/drama rather than the administrators who seem to continually make the same mistakes because they won't own up to them. I personally applaud any channel which allows this video series to be shared openly and debated publicly, rather than deleting the video and banning players due to concerns regarding "reputation." Let the players decide for themselves so that they are not left uninformed, that is the best policy and the one which aligns closest with the standards that Guardian Of Ultima would like the community to hold itself accountable to.
So what can someone do if bad actors are running disinformation campaigns against their critics and getting them removed from their guilds to cover up their potential wrongdoings? *Subscribe* to this channel! Try to remember, the mothers who's credit cards these bad actors seem to be after are unlikely to be in the shard discord channels, nor the streamers discords out there who seem to be pushing not only false narratives about the quality of some shards to children, but alcohol as well. The best way to reach them is likely right here on RUclips so thank you for your support for this channel!

Remember to find yourself a shard whose goal seems to be to entertain you, rather than just sell you typical content at a premium this holiday season and remember to help send a message to end this unfortunate stigma about it being "okay" to treat players unfairly or that it is ok to help cover it up when it does happen! IMO it's only a "donation" if its not solicited, and nothing is expected in return, otherwise its "pay to win" like mobile apps microtransactions are. Nothing wrong with that, as long as they are honest about it up front.
As long as everything is up front, players can make informed decisions. So I definitely agree on this! Thank you.
@@GuardianOfUltima They dont call it a donation to try and mislead playerbase. Everyone understands what it is. Its designated as a donation because you can't do chargebacks on donations.

Imagine that, ancient pvp mmos are toxic? Bro go play 1999 Everquest PvP and you will know weird and toxic. >< Also, did you say kurz ge shart?
Not telling! Yes I've heard Everquest has Classic "cycle servers" that wipe on a cycle. I'm guessing they also allow you to move your character to their official servers when there's a wipe, just like New Legacy is plotting to try.
The UO free shard community is "thinning out" due to poor community managers that run these free servers. I see the only hope coming from the Legacy UO server simply because they are less prone to the God complex so many of the solo owners get.
It's a shame the UO subreddit banned you, I thought they were allowing open discussion on other free shards. I'll add a conspiracy theory here that they were probably paid to promote the server of the month. These same concerns were brought up on the last popular server (5+ years ago) that you couldn't criticize on the subreddit, UO Forever. Then, suddenly, it was okay to criticize UO Forever, and not okay to criticize UO Outlands. Weird stuff....
The argument of semantics with Punkte's rule set drug on a bit long, I get it, but if they don't want to change it, its on them. Pretty low on the list in my opinion when considering protection of UO players (the few that are left).
Agreed. Also, Punkte wouldn't get the airtime if it wasn't for him launching a(nother) shard. Unfortunately this is just the best time to warn players about his poor attitude; before they invest any time in another unprofessional disaster purely being hosted to boost someones ego.
