I think a fair chunk of the blame does go to Beveridge, when the game was slipping away from them, the one guy (obviously Bont) with the talent, power and skills to get them back into it was standing at half forward, a kick in front of the play. Nothing made me happier than seeing him NOT in the centre and in the thick of every stoppage.
@@daztalksfooty Yeah, I agree, he should call the shots. It is hard to know how much freedom any coach gives his players to make those decisions. I think we did a great job containing the Dogs and never allowing their talls to find any rhythm via our elite pressure. Meeky is a nightmare match up for English too - has the motor to operate around the ground AND is a physical ruck who is good when it comes to hit outs.
Great team win.
As a sth Australian, when both Adelaide and then port joined I had a good excuse to turn my back on the Hawks and start supporting either side...........😂😂😂😂😂😂💛🤎💛🤎💛🤎
😂😂😂
I think everyone is forgetting that 3 losses by under a goal this year had gone the other way, we finish 2nd on the ladder behind the Swans on percentage. This really shouldn't be the surprise that everyone is making it out to be, just going to make it all the sweeter the further we go into Sept. Go Hawks No limit💛🤎💛🤎💛🤎
Limitless my friend!
