It broke my heart when the interviewer said that she would have her own movie " Selena " in big letters............ and she did and the way it happened is horrible
Thanks man for speaking so well about Selena. I ran into her in Dallas, Texas back in 1995 in her last performance here and as my wife and I at the time we were walking outta the club Tejano West we ran into her and she just smiled and said hello in the friendliest way. Never will forget that.
I remember she played at Lee Park in Dallas. My step brother at the time got lost and she picked him up on stage and carried him. My mom was so scared, so relieved and then so embarrassed My mom also saw her perform at La Bamba in Dallas as well. I was 12 when Selena died and I was devastated because I grew up listening to her.
I'm binge watching your videos on selena and I love seeing how she just made you smile. That's who she was! She just makes you feel so happy! You should react to celebrities reacting to her. It's on RUclips it has Beyonce jlo katy perry etc. It shows the impact she still has today! God bless you!
I can get lost in her videos but watching them makes me ugly cry watching her spirit shine through in everything she did. She's exquisite. 💔 Thank you for this and all of your videos!
Love your reactions. Thank you for keeping Selena’s memory alive 💜 I visited the museum in 2018 and as soon as you step in, you can feel the sadness of the loss it’s very eerie but beautiful at the same time. While I was there I met Suzette, her sister, and their father. Very sweet and down to earth people. They love interacting with the fans that go there, so if you see them make sure you tell them about your channel, they will love you!
She was something else! Jenifer Lopez doesn’t have anything on Selena. They are not even in the same league. Selena didn’t keep people from making eye contact, she embraced people! Thank you for the reaction, Jamel. I miss seeing her on TV, in the news and, her singing.
Si Jlo está viviendo la vida que Selena tendría que haber tenido y le arrebataron. Y Selena es un millón de veces mejor. Creo que hubiese logrado aún más. RIP.
You should go to San Antonio texas and visit this restaurant called “ mi tierra cafe” close to downtown they have a mural inside you should visit and take a picture with her its amazing!! 🙏
Corpus Christi Texas! You can see her old house! The gravesite is huge and gated ..the museum her family owns that has all her clothing her car ECT! Her awards! There is😞 statue at the pier..the city is surrounded water..
I`m from Texas and knew Selena was good , because of how many people went to see her at the rodeo in the Astrodome. After she was murdered , they were playing her songs on the radio and I liked it so much that I bought the '' dreaming of you '' album. After seeing her live performances on you tube , and with her personality , I`m starting to think she would have been the best female performer out there if she had lived, especially her job with the Donna Summer and Gloria Gaynor songs , who were both very good! Nice job on posting her vids !
The long haired dude conducting the interview @6:20 has his own podcast on RUclips now called “my pvt network” where he sometimes shares his personal experiences with Selena. Check it out.
There's still a few more Selena songs to explore. There is I'm Getting Used to You, God's Child, and Captive Heart. And there is even more. I Could Fall In Love and Dreaming of You are the most well known of her English tracks but these just needed time and exposure and they would have been more popular also. And there are many more Spanish songs as well that are also great. Like Ya No, it has a rock vibe to it. Selena will always hold a place in my heart. Also there is another artist that I want you to discover. Sadly the same thing happened to her as Selena. You can Google it and learn about it but she was and is a very talented artist. Christina Grimmie is her name. She was also a song writer. She put out 2 or three albums and did some touring before she was killed at the age of 22 in June of 2016. She was on the Voice and covered lots of songs on RUclips, that's how she got started. Her songs Feeling Good, With Love and Absolutely Final Goodbye are my favorites. So check out this talented artist when you can find the time. I wish Christina Grimmie and Selena both were still with us just like so many others. Look up Christina Grimmie's audition video for The Voice. She sang Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus and killed it. I still go there and watch it again when I want to. It's one of the best blind auditions and RUclips videos there is in my opinion. That would be a good way to be introduced to her. ❤
Fun fact: Tv producers in Mexico were writing a script starring Selena! I think most people would agree that Selena would’ve had more success, popularity, & fame than Jlo & Shakira combined. Probably a fame we have yet to see but a fame equal to those who are beloved by millions around the world.
it’s good that you’re going slower with the selena reactions so you don’t watch everything at once but also the family is releasing the 1993 and 1994 astrodome concerts so you’ll have way more to watch when they do
I've gone to the museum a couple of times and last time I was there her sister suzette was there wrking and her dad too took piks was fun talking to her sis😀
Jamel, I'm trying to go to her Museum as well, plus go see her statue and go see her gravesite in Corpus Christ myself some day. In the meantime I've gone to see her Wax Figure in Hollywood and her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, I was there on the night when they unveiled her star. You should go see her Wax Figure too at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, she's beautiful. I wish there was a photo button on here so you can see it cause I've taken pictures of her Wax Figure and her Star everytime I go.
@@mariaxoxox8773 Never loose hope, I haven't and I've already met her husband Chris in 2015 and last year I met her beautiful sister Suzette here in LA. Hope you're able to meet any of them too, they're really nice. Never loose hope, that's always my mentality.
I am in my 60's and only heard new her name when she died. I am new to the Selena party and have been watching lots of video for 2 months. I have never witnessed a more complete and mesmerizing performer in my life. Tragic loss is an understatement. Please check out her "Cumbia Medley." You may have reacted to some of these songs, but they show many clips from many performances. Her fantastic fashion sense is overlooked. She may have designed her outfits, as she was pursuing fashion design. Was her dancing self taught, too?
Selena was fully self taught although she would watch TV with dance groups & what not & would then do something in her own way but for the most part when she would hit the stage it would just be freestyle dance to the music & rhythm as she went along.
Welcome to the club . I was four years old when she passed. I remember seeing her every where. I’m Mexican/American just like her, so you better believe I grew up listening to her music and still do to this day . I love meeting new friends That never heard of her, and I get to show them everything about her . They always fall in love with her . She was truly a once in a lifetime performer. Truly jealous I never got a chance to see her live. Selena forever!
Hi Jamal. I think you should check out Johnny Cash performing 'Peace in the Valley' in San Quentin penitentiary. He gave a show to the inmates there which was an all around great show that was filmed (and also put out on album). It is a touching song and a great performance and seeing the inmates visibly enjoying it really adds something to it as well. I think you would like it a lot.
Hi Jamel thank you for the material man!!! Watching your videos are the best to stay at home, I’ll been watching with my wife your reactions THANK YOU!!! Btw...please do the reaction of GORILLAZ - STYLO Peace and love!
P L E A S E react next to Selena Juana La Cubana! ❤️ for the best quality video go to Selena a night ro remember and start watching at minute 22:50 ! 😉 Enjoy!!!
That was Rockin Roll James interviewing SELENA on the couch. He has his own channel if you ever want to check it out. He did a clip where he talked about where he was when she passed away. Very emotional. Anyway, you're right, JLO took off where SELENA left off at. Thanks man. This was Awesome and funny. I'm subscribed to Mr GoLightly. When you do go to the museum please upload. Stay safe.😍😘🎈 Shout out to Don Sheldon (backup singer sitting on couch with SELENA) who passed away in '14 from cancer. You probably know this already. 💝8
I’m from Corpus Christi unfortunately I moved away but you should come man I’m sure you would feel Selena vibes over here since you are a big fan not everybody is fan over there as you would think tho kinda sad
I've never seen a man so happy to be told off by a woman haha. She could have whooped his ass and it would have been the best day of his life. " I got a black eye from Selena!"
Hey just so you know you cannot take video in the museum but you can take pictures so when you go you can take as many photos as you want but you can’t take Video so you’re gonna have to put the video together
Her laugh is so contagious,, she was funny
I was just going to say that
I'm so glad you reacted to this, it makes people understand how perfect of a person Selena was🥺💘

Her museum in Corpus is BEAUTIFUL! I got to meet her daddy there and he was a delight ♥️
That ending just put a lump in my throat and knot in my stomach. She was something special.
She really did have an amazing smile. So contagious ♡

it’s such a bittersweet feeling after watching videos like these because your happy while a tear rolls down your cheek ✨💜
Oh I miss this woman..she was a real person and real/true performer.
She seemed so positively contagious!

She was just HILARIOUS!! Love her so much. It breaks my heart. Looking at Chris, he was so damn happy . He never smile and talk like that
Si Jlo está viviendo la vida que Selena tendría que haber tenido y le arrebataron. Y Selena es un millón de veces mejor. Creo que hubiese logrado aún más. RIP.
You so right,we all feel her presence when we see each of her videos, her presence is so strong that it makes us feel that she is always alive
"Jlo is living the life Selena would have lived." YOU SAID IT! YEP! There is no Jlo as we know her without Selena!
You got a little crush on this incredible lady!? Join the club! She was mesmerizing! Love all your reactions!
Ella fue una persona maravillosa, tú lo dijiste brillaba a donde fuera 💜
Watching these videos makes me feel so emotional 😔
Inolvidable Selena!! 😍
wonderful, i was really waiting for this second reaction to Selena's funny diva moments. thank you for your reactions to our Queen of Tejano
Sigue siendo la reina por siempre🙏❤️
Selena had a small part in Johnny depp’s movie Don Juan demarco
You’re so RIGHT...Jlo took Selena’s place in the musical career and movies 🎥. Thanks for posting this! I appreciate all your honesty. 👏🏽🎤🎶😉❤️🇺🇸

You hit the nail right on the head with the Jlo comment.
Selena had me in tears in the end. 😭😭😭😭😭
I am from the same town as her. Her beautiful spirit still lives. And the museum is really great. Love her :/
She is, but all of the movies, tv shows, boutiques, her clothing line, modeling , producing etc. she would've done and be doing right now. Man!

Most definitely.
Can hardly wait for part 3.
I love your reactions to these vids. Yes, go to the museum, to the cemetery where she is buried. Corpus Christi is a nice city too.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Just think of Selena being in all of the JLO pics and how great she would have been.
More Selena videos please
she had a beautiful smile :)

This is why Texans were heartbroken when she was murdered. Remember she wasn't speaking spanish as a young girl, till she started singing in spanish.

The drama from the 90s was that Christina Aguilera stole one song from her but I don’t think it was her personally, I think it was the writers ✍️ feud
