This is the second time I've watched you do this procedure and it is such a wonderful thing to see. You compassion for wildlife has always been evident to me as I've watched your adventures, but nowhere is it more amazing than when you do something like this! What a thrill and what a wonderful couple you are! God bless you and prosper you both, Cole and Jessica!
The monarch! That’s when I subscribed! 👍 These two kids are awesome! I think this may be totally innovative. I’ve never heard of it before! You only see these things with Cole and Jay!!
You guys are in just such harmony with Mother Nature and all of his Beauty gosh you two are just so special people you really are and I hope you realize that.
Just watched your video with my two 8 yr old granddaughter's visiting from NC and Texas.. they both thought it was the coolest thing and after watching your video one of them broke out singing, " I believe I can fly..I believe I can touch the sky." Love your compassion for wildlife... Btw.. We was camping and fishing last week at Mammoth spring.. One night we was watching your videos in the camper and I told the grandkids y'all lived in Arkansas.. They got real excited and asked if they could come see you...lol...I told them maybe some day..
Another Home run video guys! Thanks so much! Personally, it was really cool for me to see your donor. I'm from MN, and as a youth I collected butterflies and also raised a TON of black swallowtails, some tigers, and even a few giant swallowtails. Also had a lot of success with the great silkworm moths..Cecropia, Polyphemus, Luna, and many sphinx and underwing moths as well. I've always been enamored with the spicebush and zebra swallowtail, though. Unfortunately, we seem to be just out of their normal ranges. It will be a treat to someday behold their beauty in person...as well as the giant silkworm moths i have yet to see...Royal Walnut Moth, Imperial Moth, IO Moth and Prometheus. Thanks again for this awesome video which has inadvertently taken me on another very enjoyable cruise down nostalgia lane. :) God Bless!
When I was about 10 years old I found a pupa of a Cecropia moth. I kept in a jar on the front porch of the house we were living in at the time. In the Spring, the pupa came out and I placed it on the back yard tree. The wings dried and it flew off. I was so happy to have saved it.
Paging doctor cole and nurse jay need to the operating room for wing transplant stat. Awesome job guys. That is second one I've seen that the both of you have done. Great job on saving those caterpillars and giving them a chance to become beautiful butterflies. My hats off to the both of you guys.
Yep, looks like Cole and Jay continue with their amazing butterfly wing surgery techniques. Yay for Ellie! She'll look special for all the male butterflies with her modified wing too. Cool to see you guys can add those medical credentials to your otherwise impressive list of talents :)
I think it's so awesome what you guys do for the butterflies!! I think they are some of the most beautiful insects around!! To see that butterfly take off brought a tear to my eye...not even kidding!!

got the house set up, put the milkweed in water and have a very large caterpillar now inside. can not wait to see this happen, last year I bought the house because had a butterfly hatch out and one wind did not open at all, it lived 2 weeks more than it might have. Had seen wasps eating them so I was happy to be able to save them this way. Thank you so much for this video and all the others you do. posted now on my channel and I old people to subscribe to you.
