      FUCK that guy. 100%. He wants to blame the super soldier serum on his personality change. Becoming a monster. Dude, Watch the movie again. The first few seconds he's on screen he killed a dog. For no reason. He's always been a piece of shit. I hope they don't try to redeem him. Leave him for the hulk and She-Hulk to fuck up throughout the MCM timeline.

      @Gundam_JAY 3 года назад +110

      He still can be but that's not the only thing about him as a character. For so much of his life he just wanted people to leave him alone. He was literally birthed into this world on accident, the first he learned was how to smash and run. And that's what he's been doing his whole life.
      Hulk never got a chance to just be his own dude until s'kar but for the first time in a long time hulk felt ashamed. Ashamed at what needed to be traded in order to get where he stood today. So as he did once before.... he gave banner his life back. But he was tired of being used as a tool to be summoned to break a few things and go back home. Like he was in avengers. He didn't want a deal he wanted a life. Banner and hulk came to a FULL understanding and formed Prof.hulk.
      There is many similarities between banner and this hulk like his face but I'm thinking that's more like a robot cop thing. It looks like the face but in universe it's just a recreation of whatever was left over. With that taken into account another important part of prof.hulk is how cocky he is. Banner never reacted that way, sure he might have seemed drunk during ragnarok but never as up forward as he appeared in endgame. I'm pretty sure that personality is till 100% hulk. Because HE was the one shown to be the show boating type. Especially during his time in ragnarok. On and off the field.

    You know this is one of the most well-written villains in the MCU. He's got a pure straight and simple and kind of relatable goal. His reason for continuing to be a fighter is very much that semi cliche thing about most military people not able to readjust easily to civilian life. And his movement was spectacular in the 2008 movie, hopefully if that is him in the shang-chi movie, they will keep him inside lightning-fast Bruiser

    • @mcgeethetree3858

      Was about to comment exactly this, he's one of the few MCU villains whose goals are relatable and/or properly developed throughout the film. Most just get a few lines of exposition or seem to have no more of a realistic motivation than "just cause".

      And 2: Actually "Just cause" is actually one of the greatest and drastically overlooked motivations because you don't need to go further than that and that makes it even more scary. I can easily explain why. Everyone loved the movie when it was first shown on the big screen. As time passed, people realized that the other MCU movies were better. This reputation led to people who hadn't seen the movie before, to go into it with a biased mindset. Even people who have not seen the movie would say it's bad just because they had heard that the movie wasn't the best. This toxic mindset says a lot about some of the MCU "fans". The same goes for Thor The Dark World.

This toxic MCU fanbase although tamed compared to some other toxic fandoms but really take a dump on the MCU reputation when movies end up being positively received but then a sequel tells them to crap on previous films. Although admittedly Thor: Dark World was flawed it wasn’t a bad movie. It was descent but barely memorable at best. Some even crap on the original Thor movie which was an important film for so many characters and developed Thor and Loki well for their beginning arcs.

And at 18:20 we see how hulk can counter his strength and that abomination is struggling and in a panic and we see how hulk held his arm in order to pull out the elbow bone to stab him with(the same guy easily overpowering and pinning him earlier and at that moment he couldn’t anymore). And you see hulks strength still rising and he becomes so strong that abomination screams out in pain and exhales all air he had left at 18:32.(The same guy that was like “is that all you got” earlier in the fight)

    You really have to appreciate the level of these two 2008 cgi characters. Cgi has come a long way but Hulk and Abomination still look miles above other creations today in 2021. The fact both have been confirmed to be 0% body fat so every muscle line and vein is visible is great to look at. It's a shame Hulk's re design for 2012 added a small amount of fat to his physique, he is still great but 2008is more of a monster purely on design.

    This is the most underrated comic book film. A true representation of the hulk IMO. Only gets a bad rep because Ed Norton didn’t comply with marvel. Marvel would rather destroy their own properties than have actors who want to make better films. They only like “YES” men
