I just started ML and I am Grandmaster in one day. Still learning but I am happy that ML is the best MOBA I have ever played cause it seems that I can take my time to farm and teammates are not as important in early rank solo queue, so I dont feel that stressed compared to Unite, where a single second can define fate. Just as long as I get my farm, I can 1v5 with Alucard. I know that I have to master a Meta hero so I choose Granger. The good thing about ML is that there is no instant comeback( like I mean like Zapdos in Unite can turn the tide in a split second). Even if my team gets wiped out, I still have more of a chance compared to Unite cause......
1) Players in ML seem to know how to play a MOBA compared to players in Unite( I forgive people when the game was just released on mobile but now... its been a few months and I still see terrible mistakes that make me unable to solo queue even if I did my best), while in ML players seem to know how to use a hero( even first timers cause I check my teammates and enemies to learn more...) Even so 1v5 is much more possible in ML in early rank so no problem)
2) ML is much more fair then Unite (ML has meta heroes and heroes who arent good but at least can be played to stand a chance to win). In Unite, one single Lucario can 1v5 a lane, even if he or she is a newbie.
3) ML has miles better matchmaking than any MOBA I have ever played (Unite's matchmaking is literally random), but in ML I can see the game's effort to make sure every team is of equal strength (I dont know how they do that but that is what I see every game). I once played against a Mythic player and won cause his team was slighty worse than mine. If the enemy team was stronger we would have gotten smashed and that would be unfair.
I will be playing tons of ML for the rest of my gaming life cause this game has shown me its worth. I dont mind losing if my teammates are actually doing something...
