I'm from Wisconsin and I recently went to Manhattan with my dad. I was only there for a week but coming back to Wisconsin made me so depressed. I miss NY more and more every day and I have plans on moving there once I graduate and save up enough money.
ik this sounds crazy but for my ny fam, u never know what u got til it's gone. I moved and I swear when I was lil these sounds use to put my ass to SLEEP lol am I the only one that finds city sounds soothing? like I use to live next to the train tracks and every night u hear the train go by, a dog bark, ppl talking and car brakes and it would just.. mm... man I miss ny.. #concretejungle #Westchester ave #southbxlyfe #PAL
I find it very soothing too, and I've never even visited in really big city. I've always lived in the country silence, but I love to listen city sounds. Especially when I'm studying and it is too damn quiet to think! :D
Thank you for sharing your video, how wonderfully simple. I love these natural sounds - so much more restful to me than 'relaxation' music. We film natural walks through soulful cities mainly in Europe so it's lovely to see others doing slow tv in different ways. We really enjoyed absorbing your video and losing ourselves in it. Let's slow the world down together. We look forward to more and have subscribed.
Thank you for this! I listen to it from France just to remind me of my two trips to NYC. I hope I'll be able to go back there one day and show my son how beautiful a city it is.
+Walpo It's not even that I like the tourist-y stuff like the Empire State Building or the glamorous lifestyle shown in the TV series. I love it all. The grime, the cold winters, the subway delays, the expensive rent, the noise. Because of the challenges, New York feels like an actual city, where anyone can try their luck.
Been living in Georgia for 3 year and hate it can't wait to get back, i need to hear this or I'll go crazy listening to these southerners, chickens and freight trains...🗽
Hey man ! Thank you so much for your sounds ! I live in France, and I love New York City, I would love to live there, and that video give me the chance to be in immersion in the City ! It's so good for my visualisations ! :D See ya ;) Franck.
OMG 😮 loved ❤️ this soooooooooo much I mean come on don't tell me i am the only one who loves the City 🌃 life I love New York best place full of life and young minds filled with hope for a magnificent future ahhhhh how I dread not being there right now 😂 love y'all New Yorkers 😘😘
"country road take me home, to a place where I belong, oh mid-Chelsea" :'( I miss home. been away for almost 2 years and a half without a single visit.
I always wanted to go to New York City, cuz of the different food choices: French, German, Japanese, Castilian Spanish, Latino Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, etc.
Big, urban, crowded, noisy, smells like garbage. Still the best city in the world imo, I've visited once and I'm moving there sometime in the next few years.
i woke up in the night one time heard police sirens, brought me to this,(Fact) I live Near NYC i live in NY state and i live in the village of port chester, i come here like every week, these are not the sounds, it rare to hear this, you hear chatting, sirens (any firefighter police, ambulince) its kinda normal cuz in NYC its dangerous and sometime you hear robbery or gunshot. Thats NYC for you
It ain't New York without the squealing brakes
Dan or the honking. I miss the honking.

I always wondered what New York City is like. My uncle lives there.

Curious, what did you use to record the audio? I like this is soothing.
Zoom1, it has a stereo mic on it and I just held it while we walked down the street.
+Jerry Long real nice! I recently got me a tascam dr-40 waiting on the windscreen I ordered to arrive.
Oh the sound, smells and the insanity of it all. Live in Belize and return twice a year for the insanity.
I never get to here this because I live in the country and i have a southern accent 🌄🛣😧
I have noticed that you happen to have more subscribers than I do. That's probably because you have videos. Maybe. I don't know... Congrats, dude.
Maybe you should start a podcast and not post any podcasts.
Can I use this for commercial purpose?
Erol Kartal yes.
0:23
2:24 gunshot
**gunshot** "Welcome to New York" :D (Sorry I had too, It's not funny)
wlada5 Definitely not a gun shot. Sounded like a door on the back of a dump truck slamming shut...trust me I know gun shots when I hear them.
**gunshot** This is America
Mä en tullut tänne Ronin videon takia vaan siksi koska tää auttaa mua tekemään läksyjä.
