I finally got a teacher who used her head and said that if a lockdown drill were to occur that my whole class had permission to break the damn window and run.
Even though my middle school is on the second floor, we had a teacher who took us to the ground outside the classroom window and showed us the best ways to slow a fall, land safely, and get away from the school. I still remember how well it worked the day we had to use it.

Some kid at school managed to break a desk by sitting down too hard. Some desks have a little bar to the left or right and he BROKE it clean off by falling into his chair🤦♀️
Our school fire drills just let everyone run out the building, then meet up with their home room teachers at the soccer field when they are out of danger. Effective, quicker than lining the hell up.
I'm 30yrs old, so I was in school during the era of "tornado drills". I remember going home from school and asking my mom wtf a tornado was, because they made it seem like the fucking movie Twister was about to come through during those drills.
Another thing about lockdown drills is that they could just shoot the lock, kick the door, or break the glass outside of the door. Not to mention that even if it is someone outside of the school, they still know the plan.
At my school, they said that in a real scenario, they would have the bigger kids hide behind desks with something to defend themselves, while they have the smaller kids they have in a corner

I suffer from PTSD from a house fire that happened in 2009 (it was very small but I was ten years old). PTSD symptoms started during high school and whenever we had a fire drill, my heart started racing and I started having an anxiety attack. When I tried to explain to the school about it and why and tried to ask if I could be allowed to leave class before the actual drill started (some kids with sensory processing issues were allowed to), they said they weren’t allowed to let me leave early unless the diagnosis was on my file. It made sense and I understood why, especially since I wasn’t professionally diagnosed at the time (I didn’t wanna relive the trauma; I wasn’t diagnosed until a couple weeks ago), but suffering through the fire drills sucked.
At my school, we don't do the "single file line in classroom" drill. It's simply just: everyone gets up, and every man is for themselves. You walk out of the school down the road to the park and find the small group of people you stick with for all of highschool alongside your teacher, and then just stay there, a safe distance away from the fire, gossiping about whether it was real or not.
@@MapleTaffy I have a few! We had this new teacher come who nobody liked, and some yr 10 girl drew on the bathroom stalls AWFUL things about this teacher. Worst part? This girl left a vape in the sanitary dispenser bin. Set off the fire alarm. She got expelled and had to apologise to the teacher 💀
The problem with everyone running for the exit is that it turns into a mob and small people get squashed. My schools always just had everyone calmly walk outside. No lining up, pushing, shoving, or running. It's honestly the fastest way to get everyone out. You can't properly run in a crowd anyway.
I used to be a musty kid, showering only once every 1-2 weeks. However, that changed after I watched one of your videos. I got inspired to start showering once every day, and I stopped being musty. Thanks, ChainsFR, for inspiring me to stop being musty and change my hygiene for the better.
Im so glad that the ALIAS or ALICE whatever its called lockdown drills are used where I am, I have no idea why anyone thought the hiding in the corner drill was the best possible solution
One time I was in class and the fire alarm went off and I brought my backpack with me and the teacher said to put my backpack back and I was in the hallway
Lockdown drills expect the shooter to think, "Aw man.. there all invisible like my dad-" edit: calm down I don't mean to affend anyone if you are in sorry. I started a war. ._.
One time at my old school, we had a school lockdown. The first five minutes was boring. I was just reading a book and passing notes to my friends. Then, 10 minutes go by, it’s boring. THEN, 40 MINUTES GO BY. The door is now shaking and then the phone rings. My teacher answered it and then a kid in my class slowly crawled to the door and looked out the glass. The person shaking the door was a student. He was scared because he heard the alarm and started running to the door. My teacher opened the door and let him in. Anyway, the lockdown was a false alarm.
I HATE false lockdowns, I remember I was having a bad day of being abused in basketball and got dumped, the school said we’re having a CODE RED lockdown, so I thought it was real and after 20 minutes they said “thank you for participating in the false lockdown” like don’t say it is a code red! and after that there was another announcement saying “If you find _____ please get them back to class” and I got super scared cause it was my ex and I still cared about them and It scared the shit out of me
When I had tornado drills I was taught that position and we all went to the lowest point of the school in the middle (this happened to be the bathrooms next to the cafatearia and half the school was in them). Its a solid plan since smaller tornadoes damage the outside of a building first, and balling up protects your head from flying stuff and avoids you doing a kite position where your more likely to go flying.
Fr, we had one that wasn’t a drill but we just didn’t give a f, the gangsta student told us he was going home to get his home and the teacher made us have a lockdown, we just sat on our phones the whole time
When I was in Elementary, I had a legit lockdown situation when an intruder broke into the school. He wasn’t armed or dangerous, he was just some high school kid who thought that breaking into school gates would be “funny”. My principal stopped him and got him arrested, the intruder is now rotting in jail. I was frightened because I was only in 2nd Grade. I almost pissed my pants at that time.
I remember one of my first lock down drills I asked the teacher “What if they shoot the door handle?” She tried saying we wouldn’t be seen because the lights were off. I was in the 2nd grade when I realized we were just fish in a barrel. Started making plans on who I was gonna hide behind.

You walk out of the school down the road to the park and find the small group of people you stick with for all of highschool alongside your teacher, and then just stay there, a safe distance away from the fire, gossiping about whether it was real or not.
Damn I wish I went to your school 💀
@@AntiZoophileOvergunner u don't want to it's a shitshow trust me 💀💀
@@Azal3az_.Any other interesting stories from your school?
@@MapleTaffy I have a few! We had this new teacher come who nobody liked, and some yr 10 girl drew on the bathroom stalls AWFUL things about this teacher. Worst part? This girl left a vape in the sanitary dispenser bin. Set off the fire alarm. She got expelled and had to apologise to the teacher 💀
@@Azal3az_. sounds like the everyday school experience except expelsion is more rare
The problem with everyone running for the exit is that it turns into a mob and small people get squashed. My schools always just had everyone calmly walk outside. No lining up, pushing, shoving, or running. It's honestly the fastest way to get everyone out. You can't properly run in a crowd anyway.
Hence natural selection😂..
you can throw hands in a crowd tho. life or death sorry gtfo the way i aint waiting for no one

Experts say to get to the lowest level of the building and hide somewhere where no windows are present.
I used to be a musty kid, showering only once every 1-2 weeks. However, that changed after I watched one of your videos. I got inspired to start showering once every day, and I stopped being musty. Thanks, ChainsFR, for inspiring me to stop being musty and change my hygiene for the better.
Good job no longer being musty my brother
Good job but how does that have to do with this 😂
Im so glad that the ALIAS or ALICE whatever its called lockdown drills are used where I am, I have no idea why anyone thought the hiding in the corner drill was the best possible solution
well we do that idk why
Bro especially when they say “don’t bring your backpack AT ALL” like no Sherlock im bringing my freaking backpack 💀
One time I was in class and the fire alarm went off and I brought my backpack with me and the teacher said to put my backpack back and I was in the hallway
Bro on fucking god 💀
If there was a real fire half the class be jumping out the window
Lockdown drills expect the shooter to think, "Aw man.. there all invisible like my dad-" edit: calm down I don't mean to affend anyone if you are in sorry. I started a war. ._.

If I hear a real level 3 fucking lock down I jumping at the window and or a fire drill I say fuck this shit I out running out and not looking back

That must a been scary! But here in the UK we don't get lockdown drills

@@GBA4848same im Scottish lol we dont get lockdown drills
When I had tornado drills I was taught that position and we all went to the lowest point of the school in the middle (this happened to be the bathrooms next to the cafatearia and half the school was in them). Its a solid plan since smaller tornadoes damage the outside of a building first, and balling up protects your head from flying stuff and avoids you doing a kite position where your more likely to go flying.
Plus for booty is exposed to everybody in the school
You’ll go out packing some cake fr 🙏
For my tornado drills we go into a safe room and do a very uncomfortable pose
The one where u gotta go into the feild is so accurate I AM IN GRADE 8 AND THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS ITS CHAOS
Honestly I like lockdown drills
Fr, we had one that wasn’t a drill but we just didn’t give a f, the gangsta student told us he was going home to get his home and the teacher made us have a lockdown, we just sat on our phones the whole time
3:04 had me laugh crying
The craziest thing about this video, is that it’s spitting facts.
The thing with lock down drills is, THEY DID THOSE WHEN THEY WERE A KID, LIKE THEY KNOW WHERE EVERYONE GONNA BE
When I was in Elementary, I had a legit lockdown situation when an intruder broke into the school. He wasn’t armed or dangerous, he was just some high school kid who thought that breaking into school gates would be “funny”. My principal stopped him and got him arrested, the intruder is now rotting in jail. I was frightened because I was only in 2nd Grade. I almost pissed my pants at that time.
almost turned into XP
Ewwwwww
0:26 YO IS THAT JORDAN JOHNSON?
My last name is Johnson but I also have two last names
I remember one of my first lock down drills I asked the teacher “What if they shoot the door handle?”
She tried saying we wouldn’t be seen because the lights were off.
I was in the 2nd grade when I realized we were just fish in a barrel. Started making plans on who I was gonna hide behind.
