Kwing was going to be a pastor? Awesome! The more I hear your videos the more I like you guys. King and Kwife are the best family friendly gaming channel hands down. You guys rock!
there is a big error in this story. The police reported that Henry Cobbolpot was killed in an automobile accident around the time of 1855 (the supposed passing of Cyrus) but the first automobile with a combustion engine wasn't constructed until 1885 (well what would become the modern-day car anyway).
I learned that even in the past, the Cobblepots were horrible people. But, I also learned that just like most people who are wise geniuses, Amadeus Arkham went mad. But nonetheless, I love your walkthroughs and I love you guys. Keep doing more lore and informative videos! :D
I didn't know about Cyrus Pinkney's crypt on Batman AO until just a few days ago, I enjoyed your lecture about the story of Gotham City (Very creepy and awesome). Great video!
Man I learned so much on this video. My favorite part was all the pages being read. Gave me chills. You guys are awesome, I love your commentaries. Keep up the great work.
"As expected: I choked, I sputtered. And then I passed. But it was not poison i consumed. Rather something made by Amadeus. His concoction enabled me to enter a soporific state so profound, to even the keenest physicians, I appeared a corpse." This sounds as a way to bring back The Joker in Arkham City's sequel...
Cyrus' story does make sense because new gotham hasn't been built yet. No man's land happens before arkham city. There are also schematics and blue prints for new gotham in one of the places you can enter. Like the final offer or something like that.
Thanks for this walkthrough. Flying buttresses were mentioned, and being an architecture geek, thought I would give some info. Cathedrals were originally built with vaulted ceilings as a testament to the loftiness of god, and they wanted them to soar to the heavens. Problem is, the roofs were pushing outwards at the top of the original supports. Buttresses were added afterwards as a stop-gap measure to prevent collapse. After a few hundred years, we can say it worked pretty well.
My favorite part is that you helped me fill my character slot I had thought was bugged or missing. Though it was kind of hard to follow as the Wii version doesn't show the map when you fast travel.
I loved learning about the history of Gotham. Batman Begins is one of the all time best movies ever! I loved that they got something from the Comics. Looks like being a hero runs in the Wayne family. It's great that Solomon Wayne freed slaves especially as a African American it makes me proud to be a Batman fan.
Watching and listening to you two on this vid increased my love for both architecture and Batman. And The whole backstory of how Gotham came to be was pretty much new material for me.
Thank you kwings. Love u guys. Walkthrough a are amazing and I enjoy your combined attitudes. I'm a batfan but I had never known about the origins of Gotham. Pretty dark ironically enough 😊
I honestly didn,t know anything about the history of Gotham, judge Solomon Wayne, Cyrus Pinkney, nothing, so I,m glad you were able to inform us about it. Also my favorites parts was about how the Gothic architectures made a gran Influence back then how they used gargoyles to ward off spirits and how even now they are still using that style is very cool and interesting. I also found Interesting that the man that basically built Gotham was a murderer... which shows that Gotham was crazy even back then, but Thank you for the Info K-wings it was very educational and keep up with the great videos because you guys are awesome :)
Before your videos I could never win any arguments with my friend who knew a lot about batman (still not more than you). Then I started watching your videos and now I best him in arguments
I really liked this side mission, had a lot of insight about the early pioneers of Gotham including parts of the whole Wayne/Cobblepot feud. Would enjoy more of this… almost felt like a B:TAS episode.
Surprisingly my favourite Batman suit in this game was the Dark Knight. Even though it is just a darker version of the default costume, he still looks very cool!
I was thinking that knight was going to come alive and the best part was about the last part was when he said cobblepot died right after his death so keep up the good work thanks for the fictional lession
this explains so much about Gotham city,no wonder there are so many crazies, and every single therapist those crazy I thought that was just because they had bad bars, no built on the Indian burial ground, I am surprised that there is not Ghostbusters Gotham! I mean this poltergeist started!
I learned of a more reason why Cobblepots/Penguin have a hatred for the Waynes. Probably my favorite part of the game (to play myself) and your videos guys. AND ON MY BIRTHDAY hahahah
yes I definently learned a lot from this video. & that plaque w/ "sanity fighting the madness" is actually from arkham asylum in warden sharp's secret room in his office (FYI)
Ur thinking of Arkham Asylum, where there is a statue in the wardens secret office (where the Arkham City easter egg was) of Quincy Sharp that has a plaque on the base that says "Sanity fighting the madness" just like that plaque in the crypt
I learned quite a bit actually. I never really knew too much about Gothams origins, to be honest. Some Batman fan, huh? But I think there's another book called "gates of Gotham" that tells some history between the Wayne's the cobble pots, pinkney, and Gotham. Might be worth a reread
So does anybody else think that this is related to arkham city and jokers death in a way ? I mean the first thing that came to mind is that joker probably just used the same thing made by Amadeus for Pinckney to appear dead at the end of arkham city while he might be still alive.
i was talking about the joker not Pinckney. What i meant to say is that joker at the end of arkham city probably took the same concoction, idk how hed get his hands on it but its a possibility, and the the joker might be still alive after the events of arkham city, and he might still be the villian in the sequel that rocksteady is making
***** I read that, pretty good comic. But if they find some way to shoehorn in joker for the Rocksteady game I'll be a bit pissed, I want more Hush, Scarecrow, Red Hood and Azrael
The skepticism of Bruce, as different his father, really is a whole new level of analytical psychology. I think it's his one step into Batman that's one step short of Christianity itself.
Hey thank you for the story History of Gotham and Cyrus Pinkney that was really interesting story telling . Thank you Kwing. The TV show Gotham should put this in Gotham and a little back story history story this was 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😍🦇🙂❤❤❤👏👏👍👍👍👍👏👏👍👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Okay heres a thought. I believe hes an ancestor of the joker. Look at the plaque before you enter the tomb "Sanity Fighting the Madness" Then walk into the tomb and go to the right n look at the red baby. Looks like a clown almost. Just a thought.
Hmm... Cyrus Pinkney and Solomon Wayne... They're Pinkney and the Wayne! Yes Pinkney and the Wayne!
Hahaha awesome. I wish more people had gotten the joke
cody kjeseth What joke?
Pinky and The Brain. It was a cool cartoon.
Some say he's a genius
Harry Manocha the others insane
Kwing was going to be a pastor? Awesome! The more I hear your videos the more I like you guys. King and Kwife are the best family friendly gaming channel hands down. You guys rock!
I love you guys. I always try to impress my dad with you twos knowledge considering he's a huge fan of DC Comics 😊😋

Maybe the ancient warlocks used a spell that invented cars 30 years earlier or more. Warlocks be tricy, yo.
I think my favorite part is when kwife was talking about pinkney and solmon while you were looking for the plaques
I learned that even in the past, the Cobblepots were horrible people. But, I also learned that just like most people who are wise geniuses, Amadeus Arkham went mad. But nonetheless, I love your walkthroughs and I love you guys. Keep doing more lore and informative videos! :D
Hi! You're opinion is awesome! I totally agree!
Eli Moody Thank you so much my dear friend 😃😏😎✌
I didn't know about Cyrus Pinkney's crypt on Batman AO until just a few days ago, I enjoyed your lecture about the story of Gotham City (Very creepy and awesome). Great video!
So he has a PINK KNEE?
Heh he..
Get it?
No?
K imma go.
Man I learned so much on this video. My favorite part was all the pages being read. Gave me chills. You guys are awesome, I love your commentaries. Keep up the great work.
9:00 history lessons with kwife.

Hell If I Know Oh my gosh! As soon as she said that I immediately thought of How I Met Your Mother XD
I would like to see this history in a Gotham movie.my favorite part was solving curi pinkney and henery Calbpot and Bruce great great grand father.
Great vid. Me being a Goth. I loved how you went back. From the beginning with there being a viking tribe whose name was Goth to now. Great vid kwings

1Paraj not to mention cobblepot dying in an automobile accident 30 years before they were invented
Thanks for this walkthrough. Flying buttresses were mentioned, and being an architecture geek, thought I would give some info. I love lore like this! These are facts most people don't know, but are very interesting. I'm glad to have found people who are as big DC fans as me.
My favorite part is that you helped me fill my character slot I had thought was bugged or missing. Though it was kind of hard to follow as the Wii version doesn't show the map when you fast travel.
Oh God that Joker intro gives me the creeps every time. I love it.
Interesting video, I learned A LOT about the history of Gotham.
That is totally me when it comes to presentations in front of groups of peers. I go shy and say weird things.
Wouldn't that be funny if Pinkney jumped out of the crpyt
Funny? That would be scary as f*ck.
That would be awesome
You sound like Joe from family guy in the superman voice
I honestly didn,t know anything about the history of Gotham, judge Solomon Wayne, Cyrus Pinkney, nothing, so I,m glad you were able to inform us about it. I really liked this side mission, had a lot of insight about the early pioneers of Gotham including parts of the whole Wayne/Cobblepot feud. Would enjoy more of this… almost felt like a B:TAS episode.
I so enjoy watching your videos. You and Kwife are awesome and its nice to see someone who plays similarly to the way I do
Surprisingly my favourite Batman suit in this game was the Dark Knight. Even though it is just a darker version of the default costume, he still looks very cool!
I was trying to figure out what those plaques were for while I was playing through the game. Thanks Kwing!

Learning all this knowledge and backstory about Gotham was the most interesting part :)
The Nougat part is the best. Laugh out Loud Funny. 16:47
I was thinking that knight was going to come alive and the best part was about the last part was when he said cobblepot died right after his death so keep up the good work thanks for the fictional lession
I like using the 1st Appearance skin. It's so awesome! Batman in his original form.
These lore segments are great, very interesting
So cool! I learned so much from this video! I never did research Gotham, and now I don't need to because you guys filled me in on the main parts!
I love this game it's awesome

Yhese guys r without a doubt the most awesome and informative ppl I've ever seen and I'm glad to know them
kwings batman voice makes laugh every time he says something especially when he said live arrow
Sanity Fighting the Madness, its a reference to Arkham Asylum, but there is a plaque with that on it in Arkham City in the Museum
I Didn't Know That Cyrus Pinkney Built Gotham City
I missed these days I still remember every word joker says in the intro
That was creepier than Amadeus Arkham in Arkham Asylum for me. Especially because I'm watching this at 1:00 am
I really like the Batman Noel costume I think it's cool and Batman-like.
I learned of a more reason why Cobblepots/Penguin have a hatred for the Waynes. Probably my favorite part of the game (to play myself) and your videos guys. AND ON MY BIRTHDAY hahahah
That was me who said it sounded like he said toothpaste lol :D
yes I definently learned a lot from this video. & that plaque w/ "sanity fighting the madness" is actually from arkham asylum in warden sharp's secret room in his office (FYI)
kwing has helped me with a LOT of my batman lore and history
Ur thinking of Arkham Asylum, where there is a statue in the wardens secret office (where the Arkham City easter egg was) of Quincy Sharp that has a plaque on the base that says "Sanity fighting the madness" just like that plaque in the crypt
Awesome 👏🏻 I subscribed
hey kwing thanks for your help I needed this video lol
My god... the compass and square Cyrus Pinkney was a Free Mason O.O
Kwing you forgot that there was also many lairs and caves in gotham that were used by the court of owls since the start of gotham and were used since.
I learned quite a bit actually. I never really knew too much about Gothams origins, to be honest. Some Batman fan, huh? But I think there's another book called "gates of Gotham" that tells some history between the Wayne's the cobble pots, pinkney, and Gotham. Might be worth a reread
Cyrus Pink Knee
Sanity fighting the madness is on the statues in the secret room in the Warden's Office
Not just a fun video but a fun history lesson.
33:11 Man, Super Man sounds like he's poisoning Kuzco.
So does anybody else think that this is related to arkham city and jokers death in a way ? I mean the first thing that came to mind is that joker probably just used the same thing made by Amadeus for Pinckney to appear dead at the end of arkham city while he might be still alive.
Obviously he isn't still alive, because he lived in the 1800s.
i was talking about the joker not Pinckney. What i meant to say is that joker at the end of arkham city probably took the same concoction, idk how hed get his hands on it but its a possibility, and the the joker might be still alive after the events of arkham city, and he might still be the villian in the sequel that rocksteady is making
Mindfuck 0_0

I read that, pretty good comic. But if they find some way to shoehorn in joker for the Rocksteady game I'll be a bit pissed, I want more Hush, Scarecrow, Red Hood and Azrael

Thanks for the information any other good side quest thaet you are doing would be a great help
If you think about it pinkney could be an original member of the court of owls who betrayed the court
Wow I learned alot especially about cyrus pinkney! Very mysterious and creepy...
The skepticism of Bruce, as different his father, really is a whole new level of analytical psychology.
I think it's his one step into Batman that's one step short of Christianity itself.
Well, they are not gonna let just anybody teach people about God you know.
Cyrus Pinckney is basically the In universe version of Anton Furst
mighty morphing power buildings, mighty morphing power buildings
He meant resurrected as in they thought he was dead but was still alive the entire time because of Arkham's concoction that simulated death in a sense
I never even knew there were things like that plaque that I could scan.. Wow
Do u not think if theres a body under that knight it should come up with a sceliton on detective vision?
Kwing I found out about the sign. It is from arkham asylum in the wardens secret room you can the same sign there too
Hey thank you for the story History of Gotham and Cyrus Pinkney that was really interesting story telling . Thank you Kwing. The TV show Gotham should put this in Gotham and a little back story history story this was 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😍🦇🙂❤❤❤👏👏👍👍👍👍👏👏👍👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
I love the lore videos! More more more when Arkham Knight comes out pleeease!! :)
Okay heres a thought. I believe hes an ancestor of the joker.
Look at the plaque before you enter the tomb "Sanity Fighting the Madness"
Then walk into the tomb and go to the right n look at the red baby. Looks like a clown almost.
Just a thought.
No Solomon Grundy is Cyrus gold
I going to use this for my Social Studies project.
Really interesting and creepy. Reminds me a little of the first Sherlock Holmes movie with RDJ.
Yes I learned something about Gotham
This was really helpful
I like and learned how the town has a dark secret, I like dark secrets
@Photo some say that was a clone by one of jokers henchman.
The publication history of Gotham is that bob Kane got the name from a jewelry store
