Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Battle Mode / Race mode Gameplay (ps4) (Coco Bandicoot)

The Battle Mode is a mode that pits up to four players in Battle Arenas for events that revolve around the use of Power-Ups or teamwork rather than racing, with five different modes to choose from. While intended for multiplayer, you can play by yourself against AI opponents. Players can also be sorted into one of four teams.
Battle Mode Game Types
Limit Battle
This mode revolves around some sort of limit specification set before a match starts. With a Time Limit, the winner is the player with the most kills when time runs out. In Point Limit, the winner is the first player to reach a specific kill count. With a Lives Limit, players have a set number of lives, with the winner being either the last player standing or the one with the most lives when time runs out.
Race / Trophy Race
This event goes by two names: Race in Offline Arcade and Online modes, and Trophy Race in Adventure Mode. Finish a multi-lap race in first place to win! Both ? Crates and Bounce Crates are available in Race events, giving you access to Weapons, Powerups and Wumpa Fruit. On Nitro Kart tracks, ! Crates are available too.
In Offline Arcade, you can set the number of laps, the difficulty, and even turn on Mirror Mode. Mirror Mode flips the geography of the track so that, for example, left turns become right turns!
